my wife and i stayed for a romantic weekend in one of the jacuzzi suites - even at the end november with the sun out it was warm enough to sunbathe and we spent many hours in the jacuzzi (which was the star of the weekend) - the bar and some of the eating options were closed - but room service was available and the mini bar unlike a lot of hotels during covid was very well stocked, service as we would expect was very good and all the staff professional and extremely polite and friendly.

This is a wonderful hotel. We were upgraded to a junior suite with a small balcony and a great view of the super cars pulling up in front of the hotel. It was so much fun just people watching from that spot and feeling as if we were in an old-school movie like To Catch a Thief. A few reviews have said that the rooms felt tired but we didn't find that at all. The spa complex (which it shares with the Hotel De Paris) is fabulous, especially the outdoor whirlpools. We loved getting the shuttle down to the Beach Club, which again has a wonderfully chic vibe. The pool is enormous and the food at the restaurant is excellent. My teenage son loved it. It's not cheap but it's worth every penny as it felt like a treat from start to finish. (I also recommend the soufflés at the Hotel De Paris grill and Monacair for the helicopter shuttle back to Nice Airport - they will pick you up from the hotel but don't worry if they are late (as they were with us) the helicopter won't leave without you. ) NB. This review is for a 2019 trip - and only posting now. We really wanted to return this summer but couldn't due to Covid restrictions.

I am staying the hotel for 7 nights, this morning we ordered a taxi with the hotel and we waited 1,5 hours ( from 6:40-8am ) and it still didn’t arrive ( can you imagine people who are in a rush in the morning ?) The hotel staff are just saying ‘ it’s monaco , it’s like this on Sunday morning ‘ without offering further assistance . Then one taxi came and they gave to to another person who came much later than us ! For me this is unacceptable, they are not trying their best to help , in fact they even justify their incapablility , I am truely disappointed at the conceige and customer service. Also on top of that the decoration is very tacky and bad taste.. as well as poor breakfast choice ( lots of dishes we needed to add extras ) and quality , the buffet style and the close seating arrangement ( the tables are quite closed to each other ) is perfect for the covid 19 virus to spread ... I can see they didn’t really consider this issue ( they only put hand sanitizer everywhere , that’s the extent of it ) I don’t feel safe and comfortable here.

The hotel is beautiful but the doormen is way too arrogant and not friendly at all.. He didn't even wanted to help me when I asked something about the facilities. I expected a much better service from a hotel like this, never again..

Our stay in this palace went very well, it is a luxury hotel with a very good restaurant, our room was spacious as well as the bathroom very practical, we liked the softness of the towels, the quality of the soap and shampoo, bedding was exceptional and the must in this palace is the quality of their staff very helpful and available for our different requests
