There was some restrictions due to covid 19. Brakefast :it was too messy during the brakefast, had to wait over 20min to get an omelette. Hotel rooms: clean, comfortable, but had some noisy neighbors. The jacuzzi was perfect. The pool was not deep (1m30)

We flew out at the beginning of March for a week’s skiing in Arinsal and stayed at the Princesa Park. Transfer time is around 4 hours which includes a 40 minute stop/rest after about one and half hours. The hotel itself was quite pleasant. Our room was twin bed and included twin basins. Location wise the hotel is only about 300 yards from the main gondola and walkable in under 5 minutes. The staff were quite helpful, though having said that, there is one person on the restaurant entrance who insisted on seeing your 'pass' every time you went in which became a little tiresome. I think this has been mentioned before on another review. The only thing which goes against this hotel is the food. I would say it was ok but could have been better, certainly hotter on some nights. One instance is having cold pasta with cold Bolognese poured over the top. Yes there are microwaves but that's not the point. Every evening there was fresh food available (burgers, sausages, stir-fry, chicken etc.), which was cooked in front of you. By having this it was at least guaranteed hot. Apart from the aforementioned person the restaurant staff were helpful and attentive. The bar areas were nice to relax in with a nice spacious lounge with adjoining cocktail bar and a further bar with bowling alley, pool tables downstairs. Also downstairs was the spa area. In summing up a great holiday with a nice hotel. If they improved the food it would be a very, very good hotel.

We went with a low expectation of the food given some of the other reviews. All I can say is there was loads of choice, and all to a very good standard particularly for a buffet. There was an allergen menu too, but required a bit of translation and Pictionary! I honestly couldn’t fault the food. For example mains Chicken dishes, fish with mussels, steak cooked fresh in front of you, slow cooked pork, duck, lasagne, often spoilt for choice. There’s always a salad bar and cheese platter. Breakfast always a cooked breakfast, crepes, omelette, toast. Only thing lacking would be muesli but there is some sugary cereal. One fault I would say is they never seemed to have any of the wines on the menu, and bring you slightly more expensive ones, but you can order by the glass to avoid this. It would also be a nice touch to have the coffee machine working at dinner as well as breakfast Staff were generally very helpful. The rooms are perhaps a tad dated, and maybe not quite a 4 star as a modern equivalent, but comfortable bed, reasonable size room large bathroom, mini bar fridge. Main issue - lack of plug sockets!! We made use of the lounge, often had drinks there apres ski, serenaded by a jazz pianist. Also made use of the spa facilities (which were very good) and the bowling alley. Just note you do have to pay a little extra for these. All in all we enjoyed a lovely week here.

On arrival we were pleasantly surprised considering some of the bad reviews. Hotel is clean, reception staff polite. 3 minutes walk to the gondola. Unfortunately one staff member has completely ruined our perception of this hotel and has caused the rating of 1 out of 5. The man who appears to be the restaurant manager - extremely rude and arrogant. Last night we walked in for dinner. There was no one at the front desk, so we wandered in. Greeted by this man in a suit, wearing glasses...'wait, I need to see your key'(which I already had in my hand ready to show). He then walks away telling us to wait. No smile, no good evening. Just plain rude. Then this morning at breakfast, I was leaving the restaurant with a glass of orange juice as due to medical conditions I have to take 8 tablets every morning, and the facilities in the room for drinks is pretty poor. Same man abruptly stops us and tells me I cannot leave with the orange juice. I explained I needed to take some medication, so he says 'ok, one minute'. I thought he was going to get me a disposable cup, but no, he comes back with a tiny sign that I'd never seen before which states that food and drink can't be taken out of the restaurant. Now I totally accept this, however the attitude of this man is appalling. One of the waitresses witnessed this and she was so embarrassed by this man and she was shaking her head to my friend and saying she was so sorry for the way this man was behaving. Princesa Parc - get this man some customer service training. He clearly has no respect for anyone.
