It was a last minute decision to go on a road trip, so last minute booking. We didn't really expect much as it was just a one night sleepover but when we arrived we were pleasantly surprised especially by their beautiful grounds and swimming pool. The grounds actually had a path through the fields which lead to the sea front and sea promenade of polis to latchi which was a lovely walk along the sea front. The room which we were allocated was the standard room a one bedroom flat with fully equipped kitchen including washing machine and dishwasher, everything you need and more. The rooms although not modern were comfortable and roomy. The staff were all warm, friendly and welcoming. I would highly recommend this Akamanthea holiday village, especially for a family and I would urge Cypriots to get out for a road trip off season, explore, have a break and support local businesses for a very low and fair price. I will definitely be returning.

We chose this complex as olympic holidays discription sounded perfect We wanted a quite location nice senery short walk to the beach ,nice food ,pool jacuzzi All sounded perfect ,But what we actully experienced for two weeks could not have been further from it . To start with the good points . The staff are lovely especily disprina , she speaks perfect english and helped us with so many problems .the bar staff and waitress as well sorry cant remember names but they were all realy friendly and helpful reception staff and room cleaners all exeleant nothing is to much trouble The area has stunning senery ,the rooms are clean , bed compfatable , Harbour area great for resturants . THE BAD POINTS Unfortunatly outway the good There is no gym No jacuzzi No sauna No childrens play area Wi fi is awful No air conditioning in reception bar or resturant You absolutly have to hire a car its very remote It is not all inclucive The drinks are beer cheap warm wine flat coke flat lemonade or sugary squash The coffee machine hardly ever worked one ice cream a day 2 coctails a day The food is terrible the cheif did his best to please ,but basicly to cut a long story short , this complex is a refugee camp for ukrainian refugees . 80 percent of the occupents , we were the only english couple there all week until another family arrived , we were so shocked when we found out what was goi g on , we have all the sympathy in the word for the ukrain situation but it does not work having paying guests in the same complex the young mums let the children run aroud until very late at night they play loud music by thd pool ,not all but some were very rude to guests and staff , The walk to the beach is across a field down a steep dirt track ,its very dangouse , The pool are is dirty never cleaned ,the sun beds are discusting , Infact its such a shame the whole place is run down old tierd and dirty We had to eat out and buy our own food in the end we just couldnt stomach anymore meals there , We had the worst holiday ever . We certanly would not recomend it to anybody ,if the whole place had a refurb got a good gardener a good pool attendant a kids club some reps for entertainment and proper all inclucive with decent and food could be ok because the staff are all so good Olympic holidays need to remove this complex it is not fit for any english familys to holiday in

We stayed here as we love Polis . The bed was comfortable & linen changed every couple of days it’s a fab location with a shortcut to the beach . We arrived about 11.00 pm and were welcomed at reception then Ericka had saved us a lovely meal which she heated up for us , she’s a lovely girl as are all the staff they were so helpful and friendly. The pool area was large very beautiful with a great view and no shortage of sunbeds . We were on the ground floor but still had a great open view . Location is great as between Latchi andPolis and we like waking and running it’s ideal for this too and in a lovely rural location. The food was basic but fine . We were allowed to keep our room on the last day at no charge as we had a late flight and we are so grateful for this Very chilled and relaxing altogether, no noisy music or shows which is what we love

Lovely venue, very tranquil and in easy walking distance of Latchi harbour and Polis. The staff were very friendly, their service was good and the room was a decent size, clean and comfortable with very good air conditioning too. This I would say is a hidden gem and highly recommended if you want a chilled out relaxing holiday

We arrived by a transfer taxi at 11:30 at night. We were greeted at the door by Peter and checking was quickly completed. A hot meal was provided together with drinks of our choice (we were all inclusive). We retired straight away. The next morning we could appreciate the large, clean room overlooking the garden, and with a sea view. One disappointment was the room had twin beds but the key to the adjacent room, with a Queen size bed, was given to us to move into at our leisure. Being out of season the hotel was not busy so it was great to have a quiet, fuss free stay. The staff were exceptionally kind and attentive throughout our holiday. The hotel was beautifully furnished, especially the lounge area which, as well as having expensive and tasteful decorations, also had a grand piano. The lady hotel owner gave a lovely music recital twice a week to suite a mixture of tastes, and all without using sheet music! We enjoyed the rural location but the walk from the back of the gardens down the promenade took only 15 minutes, then a stroll in either direction to Latchi harbour or towards Polis. From the harbour there are options to hire boats or take a cruise to the Blue Lagoon. The hotel pool area was large and clean. There were plenty of sunbeds and umbrellas. Mattresses and more umbrellas were available by self service. Pool towels were available on request. The food was good and plentiful. We would highly recommend this hotel.

Beautiful views, clean rooms, great food, short walk to the beach and the staff were so friendly, helpful, and nothing was too much trouble. All guests are made to feel so welcome. The bar prices are very reasonable and the atmosphere is so friendly. The pool area is stunning. I live in Polis and 4 family members of mine stayed here and my comments reflect their wonderful experience of the hotel. In addition, I visited them many times at the property and was made to feel very welcome especially during the evening where the owner, Phoebe, was playing piano. I will be recommending this property to future visitors.

From the moment you walk in, you will be so pleased with your choice. You are made to feel as if you've been welcomed into a family home. The service is exceptional, not just on arrival, but throughout your stay. The staff make you feel that it really matters to them that you enjoy your stay with them, always being attentive & available to help, yet being unobtrusive. The room was very clean and spacious . There was a 2 ring stove, a small fridge with mini freezer compartment and TV. The beds are very comfortable. The bathroom was clean & a good size, with a bath & bath/shower. There is free access to an individual safe near reception. The location made us feel we were getting the best of all worlds. The pool is spotlessly maintained in a tranquil setting. You are surrounded with views of the hills. Our balcony view overlooked the sea & Latchi Harbour. The grounds are well maintained with a delightful private path to the beach (5minutes), It's a leisurely, easy, flat beach path walk from there to Latchi Harbour, with bars & restaurants en-route (20minutes). Walking into Polis centre from the front of the hotel has safe pavements all the way (20 minutes) & no steep inclines. We had no need for a hire car. If you need it, the bus stop is 5minutes away, opposite a mini supermarket, Don't miss the experience of the wonderful piano player on the Saturday evening whilst you eat. We learnt the pianist was the owner. As I say, a family run business that takes great pride in you enjoying your stay with them. Their smiles are genuine and well deserved.

My wife and myself have just returned from a really enjoyable holiday at the hotel. We arrived quite late in the evening and was met by hotel manager Peter who could not have been more welcoming. From that day onwards until we left after one week all the staff made every effort to make our stay really relaxing. The pools and the scenery were lovely, rooms were more than adequate and ours (no:215) had a lovely sea view. So summing up if you want a relaxing holiday with great staff and owners you can't go wrong.
