Such a wonderful experience. My parents got married last week at a little church in the Troodos mountains and they booked the entire hotel out for guests. Alla and her husband couldn't have been more helpful. The hotel is quaint and quirky but incredibly clean and well kept. Not everything is ultra modern or matches but it adds to the... More

Lovely family run small hotel with excellent homestyle cooked dinners. Hotel room is in colonial tradition with wooden floors. Very peaceful and relaxing area perfect get away from the city. Those who run the hotel bend backwards to fulfill every need. I would recommend this hotel to everyone who wants to get back to nature but with all the modern... More

Overall, tired & in need of serious upgrading. Our room was ok, nothing more: shabby mismatched furniture, poor lighting - only 1 (small, cheap) bedside lamp - towels clean but old. Ill-fitting room door, thin walls, & hard flooring throughout, meant it was quite noisy. Breakfast, served on the terrace, did not live up to its surroundings. No fruit or... More

Stayed at the Semiramis for 4 nights. We booked two double rooms - one for us and one for our 2 children aged 9 and 6. Located in Platres which is a charming village in the Troodos mountains, Semiramis is a quaint family run hotel. We got some excellent service by Ms Alla. However what ruined the trip for us... This place is great and very good value. The hotel is in an old traditional house, which has a lot of charm and each room is very cozy and comfortable. The bed was incredibly comfortable and the bathrooms very clean. There is internet throughout, although it was intermittent and slow. The breakfast was really nice though and served in the... More
