This place has a long history and already existed in the 1950s. Given that you shouldn't expect a completely renovated new hotel yet a cute little place to rest after hour hikes. The rooms are clean and some have a balcony overlooking the beautiful valley and the olympus. The staff speaks English and was very friendly. The hotel is clean and the All you can eat breakfast for 6,50€ per person is best to enjoy on the terrace outside. The rooms don't have air conditioning but a little fan so it'll get hot in summer. Would totally stay there again!
When we arrived from the southern region in 38c we were kind of scared when we saw the room had no air conditioning. Luckily temperatures in Pedoulas were not as hot as in Paphos/Nicosia. A fan and an open window helped more then we thought. Upon arrival the owner welcomed us and I felt kind of bad because we were the only guests in the hotel because of covid. The owner was very kind and gave us 2 good rooms. The room itself was fine and had a fan and a balcony, the bathroom however was a bit weird in my opinion. They lowered the ceiling and raised the ground to make the bathroom 1.85m tall. There mustve been reasons as to why they did it but because we stayed here for 1 night it wasnt really a bother. Breakfast was good and very sympathic that there even was breakfast because we were the only guests. For a night stay a good place!…
Great host and hotel location. You get what you pay for and will not complain about anything EXCEPT the water heating system. The hotel should include it in the description that the water heater is only turned on after 5pm daily :(
Very nice and quit hotel in a charming village Good localisation when you want to visit troodos mountains Staff is lovely and the hotel is beautiful, beds are confortable and you feel independent even in the hotel
Definitely a value for money hotel in beautiful Pedoulas.I stayed there for just one night between 21-22/9.But though my staying was too short, the owner make me feel like home.Clean room, excellent breakfast. I forgot my mobile charger and the owner not only kept it but he also fixed it from some damages! Definitely I will try to visit again.
We stayed at this hotel for 2 nights with my wife and daughter. Location of the hotel is excellent right in the center of the village with supermarket and restaurants next to it. The view from the balcony was amazing. Rooms are clean and tidy and we found the staff and owner very friendly. There is no parking, however all people are parking on the streets (both locals and tourists as the village, houses and also other hotels have almost no parkings). The price of the rooms for what you get is great and we found it much above our expectations.
One of the many times that we have visited this place. Always feel welcome. The price is very cheap. A good base to exlpore the surrounding area and villages. Don't expect a 5 star hotel. Clean, tidy, quiet and friendly place to stay.
High in the Troodos mountains in the village of Pedoulas, Christys Palace hotel is an excellent base for walking the mountains and visiting the famous painted churches in the area. This small hotel is hosted by Andreas (who is pleased to tell you that he is still functioning well at 89) and has been family run for three generations. It has comfortable well-appointed rooms with views over the mountains and there is a fine large terrace with equally good views as well as a large comfortable lounge. There is plenty of information available about the area, and Andreas will always advise what’s going on locally. Just to say the breakfast is an add-on here but well worth the €6, it is large and all tastes are catered for. We had a wonderful stay and can certainly recommend, make sure you get a room with a view. Chris and Gill London…

What makes this hotel special is they go extra mile to help you. Here is what happened. My wife and I have stayed in this hotel yesterday for one night.. Everything went fine, room, breakfast etc. When we packed in the morning I forgot my Paperwhite Kindle in the room. We went off, visiting monasteries and wineries, on our way to airport. It is only in the airport I discovered the loss. There was no way we could return. I called the hotel. At the hotel Andreas not only found and kept the device. Turns out he tried to call my phone! (which was switched off), emailed me!! (I don't read emails on vacation). The local post office will not post such a package to another country. Andreas assured he'll post it from Nikosia! That is so far beyond what I could have expected. I am really grateful to Andreas. I loved Cyprus in general, and that area of the island in particular. I am sure to return, and I am damn sure I'll stay in this hotel.…
