We stayed here for a week in August 2022 and enjoyed it so much we've booked again for this summer. It's quite a big place but carefully laid out apartments create privacy and your own space. Apartment sizes are generous and comfortable for families. Great pools and we especially loved the shallow lazy river pool that was shallow and great for our young kids who aren't very confident in the water yet. The buffet breakfast was good and the staff were lovely, especially the friendly restaurant manager. We're really looking forward to our return this summer.
Good value hotel for family. The rooms are lovely. 1 bed apartments with kitchen area and good sized balcony. We went self catering and did a food shop near the main strip and got a taxi back which was 10 euros. Lots of regular buses on the strip we also walked a few times in the evening about 30 minutes with some lovely views. Food places and bars at the back of the hotel which was convenient as we arrived late and were hungry. Pool is really good size never felt crowded. The entertainment was more towards toddlers which was great but not many people attended there. It's all tab service so bare in mind when ordering food and drink u have to pay on check out. Ate food there once and was okay. Would recommend
We stayed here for a week to attend a wedding of a friend. We were quite a way away from the rest of the party but staying here was absolutely delightful. The food was delicious and staff were so friendly. They made sure we all felt welcomed and every member of staff were warm and welcoming.the facilities were always clean and tidy, and our apartment while just a little dated was absolutely perfect. Any issues were addressed immediately and the whole site is well kept and beautiful. It’s close to the beach and a comfortable walking distance into paphos. We loved it and would definitely go there again, we didn’t want to leave.
Went on a family holiday(12 of us). We booked 5 apts. Apts were fantastic, very spacious, good sized balcony, well furnished and the air con was a blessing. The facilities on site were very good with a great outdoor pool and even better indoor cool pool. Activities/entertainment throughout the day were well planned involving all ages. The selection of food at the restaurant was more than adequate at breakfast, lunch menu was excellent. All staff from front desk, cleaners and bar staff were friendly and welcoming, but a special mention to the restaurant staff staff who were always on hand and the lady manager(name not known, sorry) who always greeted you with a good morning and a sincere smile as with all staff.
Great hotel, great location. Lovely apartments, spacious. We loved the breakfast, great deal of half board in the hotel. Amazing jet 2 rep aswell. Great location to walk to the beach and stroll 20 mins into town
We loved this holiday. Our apartment was very spacious with a large wardrobe, bathroom and air con. The staff were exceptional especially the breakfast buffet team. The pool was lovely but got very busy from early in the morning. A short walk from the village is a gorgeous beach and lots of restaurants. The harbour and heritage sites are within walking distance or can be reached by bus. This holiday was so good we are returning next summer.
I wrote this when we came back but forgot to post. We stayed in the Avanti Village, rather than the hotel, so we had an apartment rather than a hotel room. The apartments are really big, loads of room. We had a bedroom for my wife and I, plus two single beds in the living area for the kids. Plenty of room for our cases and good sized wardrobe for clothes. The beds are good, decent solid mattresses and nice sheets. The rooms are a little tired but we really only slept in them and were out most of the day and evening. Showers are hot in the evening, not in the morning (not freezing just warm) and the water pressure is weak so took my wife and daughter longer than normal to wash their hair. The air con was really good. Two separate units for the bedroom and living area. The WiFi is excellent throughout the complex including by the pool. Food We booked a week bed and breakfast. Breakfast was ok quality wise but not a huge selection and didn’t change at all. At busy times for breakfast there would be a queue. The layout of the food stations meant you had to queue for fruit, pastries or cooked food in the same queue. So if you just wanted a croissant you’d be in the same queue for people getting a full English from the buffet. Lunch was decent and a good choice. But on our first full day there my wife had a nice tuna salad but was ill all evening throwing up. This was the only thing she'd ate for a while so we put it down to this. BUT these things happen. We didn’t eat there in the evening, always went out. The staff are nice enough. One barmaid, in the pool bar, for the first few days kept asking if I wanted to leave a tip even if I just ordered two cokes. I personally don’t like this. Also she did the same to my 14 year old daughter who felt awkward and so did leave a tip - again I don’t think this is good. It stopped after a few days and there was a tip jar placed on the bar. Drinks are typically charged to your room and paid when you check out although you can pay at the bar, BUT only with a card, as we did quite a few times. The gym is in a big room but very limited. Dumbbells up to 22.5Kg and a very old multi gym with a couple of cardio machines. Pool The pool is great, very good size and not massively deep so safe for our kids. Definitely the best part of the Holiday Village. The pool bar is a nice touch. Entertainment The main evening entertainment was in the hotel complex next door. We never went as we were going out for dinner. Outside of the hotel Straight outside of the hotel there are a couple of places to eat and some mini markets. A 5 minute walk to the right there are some really great places to eat in amongst the usual kind of pubs. It’s a 15 minute walk into the harbour. It’s a really nice walk along the costal path. If you can get this holiday for a decent price for a great break, not expecting luxury then give it a go. This place is more for families, if I was going just with my wife then we wouldn't pick here. But as I say for a family it's good. My boy was 11 and daughter 14. Not much for little kids. …
Excellent accommodation in Paphos, a short walk to the sea and just 25 minutes walk to the harbour (or a few minutes on the bus). Good facilities including a superb indoor swimming pool. All staff encountered were extremely pleasant and professional. The breakfast buffet was extremely good value and Demetra, the restaurant manager and her small team were exceptional throughout our three week stay. Would thoroughly recommend this resort.
Just back from a fantastic holiday at The Avanti Village. The village is close to the beautiful Cyprus coast and Within walking distance of the Pafos Harbour and historical heritage sites (the Roman mosaics are a must). The rooms are lovey and the amenities wonderful for a relaxing week away with teenage children but it is the excellent staff that really make this hotel. We were welcomed with smiles from the staff wherever we went from reception to the Taverna and the Pool Bar- everyone was genuinely committed to ensuring we had a great holiday. Gabriel, who manages the entertainment was wonderful, keeping us fit and keeping us laughing- my teens thought he was a legend! Thank you Avanti and Pafos for a brilliant time- we’ll be back!
Amazing stay at Avanti Holiday Village! Spotlessly clean with helpful and friendly staff - and lots of beautiful cats! Lovely large room with everything you need for a comfortable stay. Will certainly return. Lots of excellent places to eat and drink nearby together with beach access just over the road.
