The Avanti Holiday Village is celebrated for its cleanliness and spacious rooms, with many guests commending the attentive and friendly service that enhances their stay. While some feel the decor could use rejuvenation, the lively atmosphere and entertainment are often appreciated.
The hotel's location earns praise for its accessibility to local hotspots, although a few guests mention the need for transportation to certain attractions and beaches. Amenities like the large pool area are a hit, especially with families, offering a good value stay despite some remarks about the cost of on-site groceries.

Our 4th time at the village, it always exceeds our expectations nothing is too much trouble, everywhere is clean and staff are really friendly. The entertainment team go above and beyond. The sunshine song is the best my boys live it every morning at 10am it is the best thing to start your day.
The local area has the best restaurants and bars . The bar staff, waitresses, reception team, management and cleaners are all professional and nothing is too much trouble.
We will be going back to the avanti again this year for our 2 week holiday.

Just come back from 10 night stay at the Avanti village as a family of 5 on half board basis. Our apartment although a little dated was clean and functional, we didn’t spend much time in there. Thankfully the air conditioning worked and was a treat to come back to after a day in the sun. Unfortunately the beds weren’t very comfortable to sleep on. Rooms were cleaned daily and towels replaced daily - we could replace beach towels (which they provided) at reception.
During our first week the pool area was a lot quieter, which was great and we could find sun loungers quite easily. Pool was lovely and cold, pool bar offers drinks and snacks. Entertainment team were great and provided activities, if you were interested. We particularly enjoyed the water polo. Evening entertainment is split across the two sites (main hotel and village) and was a little random sometimes, but can’t complain as we won €80 on the bingo.
We tried the spa (after being pestered daily by the spa rep by the pool), wasn’t very impressed for the price we paid-staff not organised on arrival, room was beside the kids activity room so I could hear air hockey being played whilst trying to relax, the therapist pumped the massage oil on the actual bed which wasn’t very relaxing either and the massage felt rushed.
Can’t fault the staff at the Taverna, they were excellent and made us feel really welcome. Dimitra, Elsa and the team were friendly and always made a fuss of the kids. They work hard in the heat and are a credit to the hotel. Breakfast had a variety on offer and lunch time menu was excellent value for money-portion sizes were massive! Dinner service was at the main hotel, and Renata was always very welcoming and really friendly. Variety of food on offer each day, salads were lovely.
There’s a gym at both sites, but is a little dated and some equipment didn’t work.
Beach is a short walk away, lots of restaurants around and the harbour isn’t too far either. In the heat we used the hotel taxi service to the harbour which cost €10 each way.
Overall a lovely stay.

Traveled as a family of 4 and stayed here for 1 week. Arrived to a lovely welcome and a cold drink from the reception team at nearly midnight. Off to our room which was in block D. Location of room for us was fine kind of in the middle of the complex. Lovely surroundings and very clean. Apartment was a 1 bedroom with 2 beds made up in the living area. Spotless room with air conditioning units in the living room and the bedroom that worked separately. Pool towels that we could change daily and bath towels that were changed on request available in the room. Safe in room available for a small charge. Very peaceful at night.
Pool area was amazing with plenty of sunbeds available. We didn't once have to get up at a silly hour to reserve and we noticed that if there were no beds available then all you had to do was ask the lifeguard and he would bring out more beds. Pool entertainment was great with a few activities during the day. Was glad that we were not harassed to join in. . The water gym activity was very popular and the guys taking the class were outstanding. The must have some stamina to do a 45 min class in 35 degree heat. They made it so much fun. Pool temperature was very warm for an outdoor pool but we didn't mind. If you wanted a cold pool then the indoor pool was freezing. The taverna served breakfast and lunch and the choice of food for both was great and the portions were huge. We were 24 euro for 4 soft drinks 2 toasted cheese sandwich (came with chips and salad) a burger (chips and salad) and a Cypriot pitta (chips and salad). The evening entertainment was more aimed at younger kids and we didn't really take part choosing to head out in the evening. The holiday village is located just next to the hotel and you can use the hotel facilities. It is a cashless resort so you can either pay by card or room charge food and drinks. The reception area does however take cash for purchases. Overall the had an amazing time and will definitely return.

I am typing this as we prepare to leave the Avanti Village Apartments. Myself, my partner and her two children have been here for two weeks and had a wonderful time.
Check in was easy and you are given a complimentary drink. They do ask for a debit/credit card as you can charge to your room at the bar and restaurant. You don’t have to do this you can use card but it is mainly cashless.
The apartments are clean and are regularly serviced. You are given towels for your room and a set of beach towels to use in your holiday which you can get changed at reception whenever you want. The air conditioning is vital and excellent after a day or night in the hear. We had no issues apart from one evening our card didn’t work in the door and after a quick visit to reception maintenance we’re on hand within 5 minutes to sort.
The staff are superb, beyond helpful and friendly and nothing is too much trouble. The hotel is mainly serviced by a pool bar and a restaurant and the restaurant especially is excellent value, we were spending about €30 for a meal for 4 with a drink.
The pool is a good size, easy to get a sun bed. The entertainment team run pool gym and water polo if you want to join in. Plenty of parasols for shade if you need it.
I have no issues recommending this place as an excellent place to stay for a holiday, especially for families. Some things just to note, you have to go out of the complex for a shop but it is less than a couple of minutes walk. It’s only a short walk to the nearest restaurants outside the complex and the harbour is about a 20 minute walk or €8 in a taxi (reception will call you one if you ask).
Overall we have had a brilliant holiday here, the staff would get 6 out of 5 if it were possible and I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a family holiday.

The staff are excellent!
There is nothing they won’t do if it is within their powers.
They are knowledgeable about the area and extremely helpful!
I would like to mention a special thanks to all of the staff and the few people who come to mind are Vaia, Themida (reception team) and Demetra and her restaurant team!
I would like to thank the housekeeping ladies for always folding up our nightwear and placing them on the bed.
The Avanti Village consists of family like apartments which are self catering, they are able to have a family of 5 in one apartment, with 3 children!
There are laundry facilities 24hours available in case you are desperate to clean some of your clothes or you are staying for a long period of time. ( the cost for the washing is 3€ and for drying 3€, change are a must)
If you need your towels replenished either take them to reception and ask for more or call reception to ask the housekeepers to bring them to you.
I suggest if you are staying on the ground floor to buy bug/insect repellent as there is an issue with beasties when living in a warm and rural environment.
The pools are family friendly and certainly kid friendly but if the grown ups would like a deeper pool than 1.20m I suggest using the adjacent Hotel’s pool (Avanti Hotel) which reaches up to a 1.80m.
I recommend if you wish to explore Paphos to rent a car as it will make your life much easier than paying taxi fares!
The Avanti Village has the restaurant area near the pool in an open area which you can gaze at the pool while dining while also being covered in shade! The staff are extremely helpful and friendly! Elsa and Demetra being two of the most helpful (of course praise must go to all of the staff working there). They are fast at clearing tables and I love the idea of having mini bins on each table for disposable rubbish, it makes cleaning so much easier! If there are any issues please talk to the staff and they will be more than happy to help and fix the issue.
The Avanti Village and Avanti Hotel are owned by the same owner so using the pool or any of the other facilities, for some you need to pay a fee, are free.
I want to thank again the team of Avanti Hotel and Avanti Village for their hospitality!

Me my husband and 3 children aged 5,9 & 11 stayed here at the holiday village and the staff was absolutely amazing not one of them could I complain about only one which was the pool bar guy and my reasons for this is as when round the pool the music was garbage (when we could actually hear it) and whenever we asked for it to be a little louder as we could barely hear it he refused and said the other residents was complaining baring in mind this is advertised on Jet2holidays as a family favourites and the residents complain was of the older age with no children.
The cleanliness of the apartments was really good and ours got cleaned every day and to good standards. Even though we did have to move our apartment 3 times due to first room having bugs due to us been on ground level. Second room we was really happy with on arrival but then when we woke the next morning the kitchen area on work tops was covered with ants. We made the reception aware of this and straight away they tried to sort this simply by informing the cleaners to be round. We did think that whatever solution she had used worked but then later that night they was back so we then moved to our third room. This room we had no issues with at all.
The entertainment was absolutely shocking literally no interaction at all just a member of staff sat behind a laptop with a pull along speaker. No disco lights nothing. With us choosing this resort simply from the good reviews and advertising as a family favourites we was really disappointed with this and straight away we complained at the reception. With no hesitation they got the manager down to speak and listen to our issues she listened and took on board our complaint. Lights was there the same night more families and children there too enjoying there self and loving it all. We also wasn’t the ones that was disappointed with the entertainment but like stated before hand this was soon tried upon from staff to make us and the rest of residents happy with there accommodation this we can not fault!
There was little activities for the children during the day.
We have said we would give this place another go but maybe go in the summer holidays (peak time) and see how the entertainment and activities are then as when we was speaking with staff and bringing our queries across to them they all said it’s because of it been at the beginning of may.
We do want to say a massive thank you and make these members known of too as these guys couldn’t do enough for us and was so lovely and friendly!
Dimitria the management of the food canteen wow what a wonderful friendly lady! Veronica and Marie the 2 bar staff on evenings such lovely souls. There was a lovely blonde haired lady that worked at reception and she was so helpful and nice. She was mainly the person we spoke to about any issues and with no hesitation she was straight on it rectifying the matter. We also was greeted with orange juice on arrival and instructions to room and everything was all handed over very clear. We informed them of why we was there as it was our family moon and are looking forward to our stay. When entering our room then there was a little card and bottle of champers with 2 champagne flutes congratulating us which we thought was lovely and thoughtful.
We do hope if we get chance to visit again that the entertainment and activities for the kids will of improved massively as then we would most definitely make this our annual stay! ☺️☺️

We couldn't fault our stay at the Avanti Village. We had a ground floor garden apartment which was adequate for our needs. One bedroom plus a sofa bed converted into two really comfortable singles in the living area. The cleaning schedule was rigorous with fresh towels provided daily. Fresh poolside towels were also available from the gym. Should anyone desire to wash any clothes (not me on holiday!) there was even a laundrette with free wash powder and a small fee of €3 per wash. There was a schedule of daily activities on offer to suit adults and kids alike from morning stretch sessions, volleyball and water polo to tennis, board games and a mini disco. Additional entertainment included table tennis, pool tables and a handful of arcade games. There was even a small playground area by the pool for younger children. Having an indoor pool option alongside an outdoor one was an added bonus for the kids, given that the outdoor pool was still somewhat chilly in April! Huge shout out to the wonderful Dimitra and Elsa who headed up the poolside restaurant. Their service and friendliness was second to none. They kindly made me a "special" frappé on a daily basis, to suit my requests, with decaf coffee and coconut milk. The kids loved the milkshakes and slushies from the poolside bar. The friendly reception staff also deserve a mention and the welcome juice on arrival was a lovely touch. There were some super restaurants in walking distance. The seafood platters at Ocean Basket, the Indian Street food at Naamaste, the pizzas at Porto Bello and the traditional Cypriot offerings at Viva Cyprus were our particular favourites. The sea was a 3 minute walk away and the coastal path to the harbour made for a pleasant evening stroll or early morning run. The only small issue for us was that the nearest supermarket was somewhat limited in its supplies and didn't have any fresh fruit so we had to go into the centre to a bigger one which made for a longer journey but this is because we chose to make breakfast and most lunches in our apartment which may not be the case for everyone. Even so, this was no big deal if we coincided a food shop with dining out in the centre. Overall a truly lovely accommodation scattered with beautiful orange and lemon trees and absolutely wonderful, accommodating, friendly staff. They literally seem to have thought of everything to make your stay as comfortable as possible. Great for families.

We had a wonderful stay at the Avanti Village with our two year old son. The room was set in a peaceful setting surrounded by orange and lemon trees, the grounds were well maintained and clean. The kids facilities are excellent; the kids clubs at the Avanti hotel (adjacent to to the village and part of the same resort) is well resourced and Christina the Teacher is welcoming and great with the kids. The number of pools (indoor and outdoor) also means you can't get bored at the hotel. The breakfast buffet has a range of foods - made to order omelettes, cereal and fruit and the staff (Elsa, Dimitri and Christino) are efficient and flexible to your needs. Zoe, the manager personalised our experienced by ensuring that email communication was promptly answered as well as requests whilst we were there. The room (apartment) is spacious and comfortable and the location of the hotel means that you can access the harbour (20 min walk) and range of restaurants by foot relatively easily. A great and memorable stay overall. Thank you.

Room Tip: Ask beforehand about gaining accommodation closer to the pool area, which we did. The 'A' and 'B'...

We stayed at Avanti Holiday Village for 10 days and really enjoyed our time there.
The rooms were very clean and spacious, there was a cooker, fridge, hob, pans etc. for anyone wanting to cook their own food rather than eat out every day. We didn’t catch the maids name but she was lovely and ensured the rooms stayed spotless and bath towels stayed fresh during our stay. You can change your beach towels that the hotel provide you from 10:00 - 11:00 AM each day down by the gym. We initially booked self-catering but upgraded to bed & breakfast for €7.50 pppd, breakfast was nice as there was a fair variety for people ranging from fried breakfast items to cereals, fruits and pancakes.
We did notice this is more of a family resort compared to the sister hotel next door (Avanti Hotel). We ended up spending quite a bit of time next door as we found it a bit quieter but it did have daily entertainment for us to get involved with by the pool. The pool at the Avanti hotel is deeper than the one at the village so more suitable for adults wanting to swim, both hotels had a nice pool bar which you could put any drinks or snacks on your room tab.
We found the location of this hotel to be ideal, there are a few bars and restaurants at the road straight out of the bottom of the hotel which always seemed to always be lively enough with good vibes. There are several supermarkets nearby for any bits and bobs you might need or food for those self catering, along with car and quad bike rentals if that is something you’d be interested in doing. We didn’t find the need to hire a car this time round as the bus stop (by tea for two restaurant) was so ideally placed, a bus to the main harbour station cost €1.50 eachway or €5 for a day pass - which we found to be most value for money as you can use this an unlimited amount of times a day. The bus to the harbour only took around 10 minutes where you have the choice of tonnes of restaurants and bars to go to or you have the option of hopping on a different bus into Coral Bay or the Old town for example.
There is also an option of walking to the harbour from the hotel as there is a nice little beach front walk which leads directly there, the path to this is directly across the road from the bottom exit of the hotel.
The beach by the hotel is nice and there is the option to do water sports like jet ski or parasailing if you turn left it is hard to miss.
The hotel is also located just 3 bus stops from the water park and a 20 minute or so walk from a nice little mini golf place, both really fun and worth doing!
Overall we had a great holiday, the location was perfect, very affordable and we will definitely be returning!

Overall had a great time here!
We were greeted by a lovely receptionist who already knew our names and brought out two fresh glasses of orange juice.
The breakfast and lunches were great at the taverna, the staff - in particular Dimitra and Elsa were amazing. Genuinely really nice people and made our stay that much better. You can see they work really hard and nothing is too much for them.
The whole place is really clean. The pool is spotless and well looked after. All the staff in and around the village were genuinely nice and friendly.
It was easy to get around, taking the 611 bus to the harbour for €1.50 (bus stop is just outside ‘Tea for Two’).
On the day we left we checked out at 11:30, they kept our luggage in a luggage room behind reception for free, and told us we were welcome to use the pool, towels, showers etc all before we left at 6pm which was very much appreciated!
