Kefalos Beach Tourist Village is lauded for its picturesque location near beaches and local attractions, offering guests stunning views and easy access to the area's highlights. The hotel's atmosphere, complete with a variety of entertainment options and praised for its cleanliness, creates a welcoming ambiance despite some remarks about the monotonous pool music. While opinions on value are divided, with some guests finding costs reasonable and others pointing out pricey extras, the rooms are generally appreciated for their space and cleanliness, albeit in need of modernization. The service stands out as friendly and efficient, and the amenities, including the well-kept pool and grounds, are often commended.

From the minute we arrived at this Hotel we knew it was going to be a great week!
We was here celebrating our 10th wedding anniversary we were allocated an Ocean View room which was amazing sunsets every night! Room cleaned and fresh towels everyday! Champagne in the room on arrival!
Restaurant was very clean and comfy chairs very peaceful setting staff very attentive.
Food was good quality, varied and different themes everyday, salad bar could have been a little more varied but always fresh! Bit of overkill with the coriander!
Breakfast was good 4 different egg choices staff was replenishing food constantly so nothing ever dried out! Not a huge selection of pudding but that did not bother us because there was fresh melon and fruit everyday! 4 flavour's of ice cream available all day! We never tried the pool bar for food but there was plenty that did around the pool!
Atmosphere around the place was really good not much entertainment in the day but music playing around the pool to enjoy, it is right on the beach so if you didn't want music round the pool you could get a sunbed seafront!
Drinks were always flowing never waited more than a minute to be served plenty of staff on hand and they do table service at night so you don't even have to go to the bar if you don't want.
The entertainment was good the bingo caller was so funny and a good host didnt get his name but you cannot miss him in his flashing hat!! we had dancing shows, magic shows fire shows so good variety, they did Karaoke but I am not a big fan so we went out on those evenings.
We ate at the Divine restaurant for our anniversary over looking the sea a beautiful setting made special by the view! and the 2 waiting staff were very good!
Yannis the food & Beverage manager made sure we had the best table all decorated and made special. The food here is incredible you will not be disappointed eating here and the hotel give you 15% discount so a really good deal. Yannis is on hand all week making sure guests are happy and being looked after and checking the food is up to standard for all guests and he is such a pleasant and helpful manager always smiling a credit to this hotel.
Shout outs to other staff that were all brilliant all the bar staff were great George, Chris, bijay the brilliant drinks server always smiling even at his 12th hour of the day still smiling a great asset to this hotel. Reception staff very helpful and Chantelle the TUI rep what a lovely helpful and chatty girl she is a credit to TUI.
All in All I would give this hotel 9half out of 10 for a wonderful week. WELL DONE!

Back once again for another year. We stay B&B as we prefer to eat out as paphos has lots of amazing restaurants and night life on offer.

Location of the kefalos is good - 5Mins taxi ride to the harbour, 10mins water park and 20mins to coral bay.

Breakfast has got all you could ask for, and staff more than happy to help if you needed anything extra.

We asked before arrival for a ground floor room and that’s what we got , cleaners came everyday and cleaned the room.

Rico and the entertainment team are an asset to the kefalos from day time activities to the night time shows they always keep you entertained. Ricos fire show is always a big hit.

We did notice this year it was a lot busier than the previous years and sun-beds by the pool were usually all gone by 7am full with towels

Best hotel on the island ignore the negative reviews.

See you next year 😁

What a awesome holiday we had! 2 adults and 2 children 5 and 2years old.. room spacious and clean , the food was delicious even tho my kids are a little fussy with food but after speaking to the chef who made sure they got what they needed (plain spaghetti, small burgers/chips, garlic bread etc..) I can't thank him enough.
Outdoor area is great and the entertainment did great job keeping everyone involved in all activities and night time shows, the fire show was so good .
Will definitely come back again , thank you kefalos for the great memories

Minuses
First thing that hits you when you walk into the hotel, is the stink of cigarette smoke coming from the managers office! Must be coming from there as there is no smoking inside the hotel!!
Looking tired, shower fittings missing, rusty shower fittings.
No spare key, key we do have has a small dumbbell attached to it.
Very patchy Wi-Fi in room 335, zero in the bedroom.
Poor selection of tv channels (Kefalos not only hotels guilty of this).
Other hotels have cleaned the sea bed of rocks, still treacherous and you need beach shoes in the water.
We had to pay €2 per day for a safe key, a little disappointed that we still have to pay for a must have, even if guests don’t have any valuables surely they will at least wish to safeguard their passports, credit cards etc. Another idea might be to add it onto the cost of the stay, then guests will feel security is free.

Plusses

Fabulous staff who will do anything to help you, reception, cleaning, staff in restaurant. Very courteous, helpful and i certainly got the feeling that it was genuine. Very, very professional.

We were only B&B but the breakfast was second to none, there was everything there from fresh fruit, porridge, fresh pancakes, omelette, full hot breakfasts, cold meat, cheeses, vegetables the list goes on and it was all really fresh, no tired, resuscitated stuff from the day before.

Beautifully kept and safe path on which you can walk to and past Paphos harbour in one direction and miles the other way too, cyclists, pedestrians, scooter’s all getting on in perfect harmony, who’d have thought it!
On the whole our 10 days were fab.

First the good. Apartment (room 626) was spacious and had a great sea view. There as a DVD player in the room but not connected to the TV and they fixed that immediately. There was a good choice at meal times and the Chinese night especially good. It is better to go to breakfast after 8 as the eggs and other cooked food gets cold very quickly.
Now the gripes. We paid for an all inclusive package in a superior room which was quite expensive. Yet we were expected to wash up our own cups and glasses etc. So you have to buy it or bring your own washing up liquid, tea towels and dish cloths? Also not included was bottled water and we had to keep asking for the little cartons of milk. Initially they wanted us to pay for the safe as well. TUI rep seemed to think this normal but in my experience it is not for an all inclusive package.
The pool area was very crowded and very smokey. The one pool was not sufficient. You could not have a nice swim as got very rowdy at times.
Plenty of room on the grasses areas though. The resident cats are lovely and are friendly. Pick up for airport on departure was scheduled for 22.00 for an 0.40 flight and was rather tight.

Dear bondiz, Thank you for taking the time to share your detailed feedback about your stay with us. We're pleased to hear that you enjoyed the spacious apartment in Room 626, along with the beautiful sea view and the prompt service from our team in connecting the DVD player. It’s also great to know that you appreciated the variety of food, especially the Chinese night. However, we are sorry to learn that some aspects of your experience did not meet your expectations. We are sorry to read that you were not pleased with our all inclusive but it is clearly stated what is included and what it is not. As for the water you do get bottles of water during the meals at the table. Thank you again for sharing both the positives and the areas for improvement. We arrived late evening, was greeted at reception by a friendly man. He called his colleague who took us to our room. We were very close to reception but on the first floor, room was so warm but we soon got the air con going. Rooms are a good size, perfect for self catering guests. We were AI so only used the fridge, they put a bottle of water in the room along with tea, coffee, sugar and milk sachets. We had a double room, with a dining room table and chairs, sofa bed, oven and table top hob, microwave, kettle and toaster and plenty of storage. The bathroom was nice full size bath with shower attached. Put towels in the bath if you want them changing. We had a balcony that had a table and chairs and a clothes rack. The room has got a safe but you need to pay for this, again reception will help you with this, I’m sure it was 2euro a day.
We walked to Lidl to get more water, just to take to the beach with us as we are early risers, There is a mini market at the hotel.
The feel of the hotel is like a family run hotel, but on a bigger scale. Everyone we spoke to was so friendly, especially Vanya in the entertainment bar area.
Beach towels are in the room when you arrive, to change these just pop to reception. The restaurant was a good size, not a massive selection to choose from for any meal, but we always found something to eat, sometimes you can have too much choice. They served snacks during the day in the bar area next to pool at selected times. Ice cream was available all day. Drinks selection is very good, they use local alcohol but you can pay for all the premium brands.
The layout is lovely it’s not tall buildings, it’s just little blocks of rooms, pool area was nice. Plenty of loungers, but not for me as I like to chase the sun. We chose to go to the beach everyday, it’s literally just across the prom. Plenty of loungers on the grass between beach and pool and loads more down on the beach. The beach is not sandy and you will need sea shoes to walk in. They have got two little piers you can get in the water from. Seaweed was a massive problem when we were there (not hotels fault) I think the hotel could have cleared the beach of it as it was piling up. They done different activities during the day, evening entertainment was very good. Location is perfect, plenty of local restaurants and shops around. The walk to Paphos Harbour is about 20 minutes always felt safe walking out and about.

Brilliant location. Friendly and helpful staff.
The food was absolutely amazing, so ignore any reviews that say differently. The dining room was smaller than some places but it was so well organised and the staff worked tirelessly at clearing and serving. The overall management of the dining experience was first class.
Perhaps, in places, the hotel looked a little tired and dated but we can easily forgive that. It was clean and well maintained.
The pool is a little on the small side so don’t expect much space or to get a lounger next to it. However there are loads of loungers on the beach side of the hotel and we got 4 easily every day, even in the early afternoon so it suited us nicely…..and only a really short walk to the pool which is fine if you’re kids are a bit older.
The entertainment wasn’t the best, so if that’s your thing you might be a bit disappointed. We probably didn’t bother too much with it. Overall the hotel might want to look at who they have in place for that and consider a few changes!
Nothing to do with the hotel but just a word of caution. If looking for a child friendly beach and lovely safe sea to splash around in then this is not the place. Rocks everywhere, full of seaweed and quite difficult to manoeuvre around in……but nothing the hotel can do about that so don’t want to be too critical and there were other beach areas close by that were a bit more user friendly.
We went all inclusive and felt this was good value for money.
Loads to do in the local area and lots of great walks.
I would be very happy to recommend this hotel. We had a lovely time.

Neat neat apartment, which is kept clean. Kitchen slightly less) Beds are good, location great. With vistas to the sea.

Breakfast is good and dinner was fine too. The chef had nice special meat almost every day.
Price for drinks are very neat (we were half Pension).

Location is nice and central, you are near the sea (but water shoes on sharp rocks), and 10 minutes walk from bus station where you can actually go either way in Phapos for 2 euros per person.

Is definitely recommended. We have been with the hottest summer ever, or so they said of the hotel. As a result, the pool was a bit warm at the end of the day. Nice and cool in the morning.

Best holiday we’ve had yet, sets the bar high for any other holidays. Location is great, about a 5 minute walk to a strip of restaurants, 10 minute walk to Tombs of the Kings heritage site and about 30 minute walk to the harbour. A bus is also available to the harbour and coral bay. (€1.50 single trip €2.50 at night or €5 for a day pass). We stayed bed and breakfast as we wanted to explore the area for food but we had food from the pool snack bar at lunch time which was delicious. The room was clean and had everything you need. Staff were really helpful and attentive. The shop on site had everything you would need. Lots of evening entertainment as well as daytime pool activities. Loved the holiday and will definitely be back! Only downside I would say is that we paid for a late checkout as we had a late flight which we were happy with, however about 45 minutes before we were due to leave the room to what we had paid extra time for, we heard noises outside our room and could see movement under the door. We came out of the room 15 minutes before our time was up on the room to find the cleaner had been stood outside our room on a higher level for 30 minutes waiting for us to leave. Feel like we should have been given more space and less felt like we needed to rush when we had paid to have extra time. Apart from this, we couldn’t fault our time here.

It was our 3rd time at the Kefalos Beach. Just the two of us for a chill out quiet break. We love everything about it, the hotel and the location. Only a 30 minute walk to the harbour and a 5/10 minute walk to the Main Street, with the shopping centre another 5 minutes along the road. We only stopped bed and breakfast, so can’t comment on the evening meals or the buffet, Breakfast is similar to a lot of hotels, quite busy , but what you’d expect. Bacon, eggs, sausage, the cold meats and cheese, the fruit, buns and bread , pancakes, and your teas and coffees and fruit juices. Reception is nice and easy and good English is spoken, and willing to help with anything. We had an evening at the Divine restaurant, which is a bit more expensive than your average restaurant, but the food and service, along with the view is well worth it. We had requested a quiet room, which is what we got, on the outer edges of the hotel. The room was more than satisfactory for our needs, a couple of things which could help in the future. An ice cube tray for the small freezer compartment, wouldn’t go amiss, as would newer larger towels for the bathroom. A longer shower curtain to stop water going onto the floor is a necessity in my opinion. On the promenade at the front , where many sunbeds are located and we tended to sit, rather than around the pool, a lot of segways, bikes and e-scooters quickly go up and down, possibly an accident waiting to happen? These little things won’t stop us returning though, and we’ll probably be back next year.

Dear 209colins, Hello from all the team here and thank you for taking the time to share your detailed feedback about your recent stay at Kefalos Beach. We’re delighted to hear that you enjoyed your time with us and appreciated our location, facilities, and services. Your kind words about our reception team and the Divine restaurant are especially appreciated. Regarding your concerns about the segways, bikes, and e-scooters on the promenade, we completely understand your concerns about safety. We have already addressed this issue with the local authorities and are hopeful that soon a law will be imposed to restrict their use on public promenades, ensuring a safer and more relaxing environment for our guests. We also appreciate your suggestions about the ice cube tray, larger towels, and a longer shower curtain. Your feedback is invaluable to us, and we will consider these improvements for future enhancements to our rooms. We look forward to welcoming you back next year for another relaxing and enjoyable stay. All the best from all the team here Kindest regards Elena Tooulia-Efstathiou Public relations manager

Yep, they belong to Kefalos too. There are plenty of loungers around the pool, but it really depends on what time of year you're going if you're concerned about how busy it'll be. You'll definitely get a blue one even at the height of the season.
