We spent two weeks at Kefalos Beach as a family of four (two adults, two teenagers). We had such a great time. The apartment was ample-sized and housekeeping do a fab job of keeping them clean and tidy. Fresh towels daily. We opted for an inland view - we would definitely spend the extra on a sea view as the sunsets are spectacular! The pool was large and the water was always at a good temperature. Could always just get straight in. We did use the use the indoor pool. Cooler water than the outdoor pool and useful if you want to get out of the sun for a bit. Sun beds are taken early by the pool (pretty much the same everywhere from experience) but there are plenty of beds on the grassed areas facing the sea or on the beach. The beach is rocky but lovely having it as part of the view and we still managed to have a dip in the sea. We were all inclusive and the food was fresh, tasty, plentiful and varied. Always food available at any point during the day. Drinks were typical of an all inclusive option but nice to have all cocktails included! Shame that eating at the A la carte was not included even once during your stay. Not known that with all inclusive before. Big shout out to Rico and the entertainment team. You’re never forced or pestered to join in but activities are always an option should you wish to do them. Maria at the pool bar does a fantastic job. Friendly, helpful and always has a smile on her face. Stavros and others at the bar (apologies, names escape me) also do a great job. Yes, they are short staffed at the bar, so expect a wait at times. The food and beverage manager was also extremely helpful during our stay. Definitely try and get out and about to explore western Cyprus. There’s so much to see. We had a fantastic two weeks and can’t wait to return. Thank you Kefalos!…
We have returned after a few years This is our 3rd visit & still enjoyed it as much as the 1st. It offers as much as a couple as it does when we stayed as a family with 2 teenagers. All staff are courteous & friendly. Breakfast options are plentiful Rooms are cleaned daily along with fresh towels. The surrounding area has a lot too offer in the way of bars /restaurants Dias Zeus & Farmhouse we’re our favourite. Alternatively you can hop on the local bus to the harbour for an abundance of shops bars & lively atmosphere. Another great addition to the area is The Kings Avenue Mall iff you fancy some retail therapy. After all these years I cannot find fault in this cosy well run hotel Thanks for a wonderful relaxing holiday where relaxation & sunshine came in abundance. Look forward to returning. some retail…
Stayed here for 2 weeks lovely hotel , plenty sun beds , food ok not a big selection for all inclusive not compared to other hotels , most of bar staff lovely and work really hard but noticed a difference in atmosphere from week 1 to week 2 quite a few staff left ,the bar manager not very nice didn’t speak to his staff nice heard him shouting at them a few times which is not very good in front of customers. Staff didn’t speak so much second week the same as probably they were too scared, they work hard and don’t deserved to be spoken the way they were. Soula and her son Sotis were so lovely working at the bar, always had a smile on their face and was so so polite and make you feel welcome, would I come back to this hotel No
This is our 14th visit to Cyprus but our first stay here. Our seaview room was amazing, spacious and clean. The views were stunning. There was plenty to keep a 12 yr old entertained. Boules,Botcha, water polo, water volley ball, table tennis, darts etc. Food was plentiful and tasty. Staff were in the majority very warm and friendly (particular thanks to Soula ,(poolside bar) and Victoria (restaurant). We had a fabulous meal in Devine Breeze restaurant. Beds were very comfortable. Only think i would look at is the sunbeds, some of the plastic white ones(beachside) are broken and extremely uncomfortable. Other than that wouldn't change anything. Lots of memories made and we will most definitely be back. Thank you all x
We have just returned home after a fabulous two weeks stay at the Kefalos. We got married here and wow.... After being delayed for 2 years because of covid, we had simply the best day ever. The staff were just amazing and accommodating to our needs. It was everything we could have wished for. The staff all work so hard, from the bar staff to the restaurant staff, reception, Maintenance, gardeners, cleaners, entertainers. It cannot be easy but their hard work makes this place tick. When we return again, we will request a room with a view of the sea as our view was not great but the room was lovely and big and clean! We didn't spend much time in the room anyway! You can obtain a remote for the TV for a small deposit which is refunded when you check out. You can also pay to use the safety deposit box in your room but this is not refundable. Thank you so much for an amazing wedding and a fabulous holiday. We shall be back! Vicky & Richard x…
We have just returned from this hotel after a fantastic two week holiday. We were delayed by 4 hours on the journey out so arrived at 4.30am. Check in was friendly, quick and efficient. The reception area is a little dated so I was worried about the standard of the rooms after reading some negative reviews on here prior to the holiday - but I needn’t have worried. Our 1 bedroom suite faced the pool, was bright, modern and well equipped. They even left some sandwiches and water in the fridge after our long journey - a really thoughtful touch. Cleaned every day, we had a problem with the shaving point but this was fixed within the hour - really impressed. We stayed All inclusive - the main restaurant staff were very efficient, bright and friendly. The food was plentiful and varied, arguably a bit monotonous after 2 weeks but that is the same anywhere when you are all inclusive. Plenty of good choice, a live cooking station and themed nights - we never went hungry! Very good quality. Pool area was clean and you could always get a bed, and if you didn’t, the grass area always had plenty, as did the beach. The beach isn’t sandy , more sand, shingle and rocks but it was cooler and quieter there and you can access the water easily - it is rocky under foot in places so there are a couple of jetty’s and steps are a great addition. You can walk to the municipal beach which is 5 mins and a bit more sandy but we didn’t need to. The pool bar is great but most went in to the beachfront restaurant for drinks as there was more choice. The staff were fantastic - Maria, Dimitris, Soula, George and all of the others could not do enough for you. Some people were complaining that they were moody and rude but I would be if I was spoken to in the way they were to be honest. They tried their very best in the evening but were under staffed so a bit of a queue for a drink in the evening but was absolutely fine. You are always served and greeted with a smile, nothing is too much. The food in the beach restaurant looked great if you were not all inclusive and an afternoon snack station for AI guests was excellent- really well stocked with good food for a snack area. The entertainment wasn’t great. They all worked incredibly hard and tried but was the same every night up until the main event. We don’t enjoy bingo but it was popular with other guests - probably because that was all there was! The main events were different every night but again, not great. The usual fire show, live singers of varying degrees of quality. It was always busy and the staff were great, it just wasn’t for us. We did go out for dinner a couple of times and to a few bars on the main road and in to Paphos. It takes about 30 mins to walk in to the harbour and archaeological site, either using the coastal path or the main road, 10 mins to Tombs of the kings so great position. The sun sets were stunning every night - which you can’t see from Paphos harbour. A fabulous hotel for weddings - we saw 5 while we were there and the separate setting facing the sunset is stunning. A fantastic hotel, amazing staff. We have had a great time, we loved it.…
This is our second visit to the Kefalos Beach Village. We had an absolutely wonderful time and were looked after by friendly staff who went out of their way to make our stay as pleasant as possible. The rooms are clean, quiet and comfortable, always my 3 main requirements. It has a wonderful position on the beach and is a most pleasant walk to the main harbour in Paphos. The food is varied and of good quality, taste and presentation. Its a most pleasant environment in the village in comparison the the large flat blocks of rooms in some other hotels. I would certainly recommend you short list this for your stay in Paphos
We went as a family of five and had a fabulous time. Food was great and had a different theme everyday to stop it becoming boring. Never had any problems getting sun beds. Entertainment in the evening was low key rather than grand shows, but that suited us. If I was being super picky I’d say the all inclusive wasn’t as good as we’ve experienced elsewhere in the past, as water is not included outside of mealtimes and some food and drink wasn’t included. Rooms were cleaned daily and the whole place is spotless. The hotel grounds are lovely and the pool area was nice, opening up onto a small beach. The beach itself is not very big, but it’s not far to better beaches, however the views of the sun going down over the sea at night were stunning. All in all we had a great time and didn’t want to come home!…
Om holiday with husband, 2 children (3,7) my patents and other family. Currently staying here and I will leave another review but for now, I am so appalled by the prices as a bed and breakfast guest I wanted to warn others. There are so many great things about this hotel but as a bed and breakfast guest, you are literally punished by the prices and quality by not being all inclusive. Really don't bother, it's as if they are scewimg you over as you didn't want to stay all inclusive. All food and drinks queues are the same so expect to wait for drinks at night, even then the fact you are paying cash seems an inconvenience. But mainly, The prices are outrageous, 2 coke and a coffee (half a small cup, not kidding) was 12euro. We had lunch and that was nearly as much as restaurants at 60 euros for toasties, it's such a let down and frankly quite offensive. 6euros for a small glass of wine, 4 euros for a coke (they call it large but its equivalent if a can). I get theyve been in lockdown etc etc but prices to stay here were already 30%+ higher than 2 years ago so to be paying stupid prices whilst here is very disappointing. Will review again on the rest of the hotel which aside from the rip off tactics is lovely. …
