The Mayfair Hotel boasts a dynamic atmosphere and a range of amenities that have received positive remarks for their cleanliness, although some guests suggest there's room for improvement in room quality and beverage options. While the hotel's location is praised for its proximity to the harbour and shopping areas, the surrounding neighborhood has received mixed reviews.
The staff's friendly and efficient service enhances guest experiences, contributing to its reputation for reasonable value. However, the noise level and the need for room updates, including better air conditioning and more consistent housekeeping, are areas guests believe could be enhanced.

Detailed Reviews
As a family we found the hotel was in a perfect location just 15 minutes walk to the harbour, food was plentiful although the deserts were a slight let down as very repetitive. The restaurant didn’t open till 18.30 and when you have toddlers it’s a little late.
Pools very clean and plenty of sun beds available throughout the day although they were getting a little shabby.
Staff were very friendly and helpful even when we gave them an unusual request they were more than helpful to accommodate.
Entertainment, this for a family we found started late with the tiny kids music session starting at 20.30.
Obtaining a late room checkout was very hit & miss as you didn’t know if you had one until 10.15am of your day of departure. If your room wasn’t available they didn’t offer another.

This was a last minute booking (just one week before arrival) so we were lucky to have found availability! Unfortunately, there were no rooms available at the main Mayfair Hotel, so we stayed in a renovated room at Mayfair Gardens, a separate complex within the same resort. This did not affect our stay, in any way! The hotel facilities were used by all guests, so we could choose between 3 different pool areas, use the mini Waterpark and dine in the same hotel restaurants 😊 The hotel's location is excellent in many ways; it's very convenient and near to kiosks, the King's Avenue Mall, pharmacy, bus stop, take away restaurants. Our room was very spacious and clean. The breakfast was awesome with many options, for every dietary need. We really appreciated that it was served until 10am which gave us a chance to sleep in a bit more and avoid large queues. The dinner served as buffet (every night different theme) was also excellent, with many dishes to choose from! The waiting staff were lovely, welcoming and always at service. The hotel had entertainment when we were staying there; live music, bingo nights.. This made our evenings fun! I must point out 1-2 things missing from the room though; the room did not have a clothesline on the balcony, so there was nowhere to hang swimming costumes or towels to dry which was a minus. The shower floor was one level with the bathroom area (basically it was a wet-room), which was awkward. Also, there was no shampoo/shower gel in our dispensers, throughout our stay there. Other than this, the room was fine. All in all, Mayfair Hotel has checked our boxes and we will definitely book a stay again in the future!

I was booked in for a week Sept 28th to Oct 5th, I only wish I was there longer. While its about 25 mins from the Harbour its a nice walk. Check in was very fast & efficient, Receptionist was so friendly and helpful. Rooms are large & very spacious, Cleaned every 2nd day, sheets changed twice, bathrooms have a super powerful double shower with plenty of hot water. I would advise a pool view as the views to the back of the hotel are not great, it is the only negative really. Breakfast is the usual hotel buffet. Bar Staff were very friendly and knew their customers very well. Pool area was excellent - you need to bring your own towels. There was several hand sanitizers across all areas of the hotel, the staff wore masks at all times. I will be going back to the Mayfair and Thank all the team for making my stay so good, I was on my own & I felt very safe.

This was our first time in Paphos. We booked an all inclusive for a week and really enjoyed our time here despite 2 days of rain.
Good points about the hotel:
* quick check in/check our services, friendly staff
*clean and modern decor in lobby, restaurant
*quick services at the bar
*our room was in block b, facing the pool and the bar, when sun is out it was lovely but can be a bit noisy in the evening when entertainment was on
*room is spacious, 2 sofa beds in the living area, tea/coffee/kettle/fridge/sink/tv/quite a lot of drawers for storage/table and 4 chairs /balcony has a table with 2 chairs/enough plug sockets around(same as UK), shower was excellent, one of the best with good pressure and temperature
*food was nice, especially their fish dishes were excellently cooked, good variety and staff were all polite and hard working, keeping the food are clean and tidy
*evening entertainment varies from bingo, live singing, movie/music quiz
Not so good points :
*our bathroom soap dispenser was not working, cleaner reported it but nobody fixed it, we had soap so no big deal
*the sink seems to leak and water drips down the flow, probably a bit of seal should help
* the hair dryer in the room was in awkward place so it's difficult to dry the hair without twisting your body
* only once we had to wait for table for dinner in the evening but we just got drinks whilst waiting
The hotel location was good for us, 20 min walk to harbour, 5 min to Kings Avenue Mall, 25 min to the Old Town. We took 615 bus and bought day saver (€5 pp or single trip €1.50) for that to Coral Bay. Nicer beach than the lighthouse beach or the ones along the coastal hotels. Everyone seems so friendly here. Overall we really enjoyed our stay in Mayfair Hotels and Paphos. We would definitely stay here again and if possible block B (with evening sun)

Just back from 10 day all inclusive break at the Mayfair Hotel.
We travelled as a couple and were a bit dubious after some of the review on here needless to say there was no need!
Hotel was lovely, rooms clean and comfortable, we stayed in room 412 with the balcony overlooking the pool and it even had a surprising sea view which we loved.
Room was serviced everyday, to a high standard, new towels and refreshed tea/coffee/shampoo daily.
All staff were amazing and don’t have a bad word to say about any of them.
Drinks at night are table service which was a lovely touch and served in actual glasses not just the plastic takeaway cups (only in the evening or if staying in the bar)
There was always a wide variety for meals, only complaint of the full holiday was the food could be hotter.
Harbour is about a 15 minute walk away roughly the same as ‘bar street’ where we did go most nights.
There is a very good bus service at the end of the street next to the kiosk which takes you to the old town or down to the harbour station where you can get buses to coral bay. £1.50 for a single trip or £5 for a day ticket which you can hop on and off buses which run usually every 10/15 mins.
The nights we did stay in the hotel the entertainment was okay. The entertainment team are very attentive but don’t pressure you into getting involved if you don’t want too. Nights start with mini disco then bingo with some sort of show after that. Bingo is 10 euro but main prize is usually over €200.
Over all we had a fantastic holiday and anybody thinking of booking don’t like us be slightly put off with previous reviews. Everyone we talked too at the hotel said the same as us, brilliant time had by all.

My best friend found this hotel last minute for us and I'm sincerely glad he did. As we all know first impressions are crucial and this hotel didn't disappoint. From the minute we stepped in to the moment we left the experience was flawless. Firstly the hotel itself, the rooms, restaurants and bar where immaculate and always spotlessly clean, the food was always fresh, plentiful and tasty, the staff where always attentive and happy to help with anything and the entertainment during the day was a pleasant surprise. Also during these covid-times the hotel was always stocked with hand sanitiser, it was all very professional and you felt safe at all times.

We have just got back from a family holiday with my 2 and 5 year olds.
We stayed at the Mayfair hotel (not gardens) and had a 1 bedroom apartment with a pool view. It was nice and the room was cleaned to a good standard each day. On the last day we paid €30 to have a room a bit longer. We changed to a room without a pool view and if I’d paid for that for the week, I’d have been disappointed as there wasn’t really a balcony and you were looking straight at a block of flats behind the hotel. It wasn’t a problem for us but something to note. I’d say it’s worth paying the extra for a pool view as at least you get a balcony.
There were 3 main pools and 2 smaller pools for children, along with the splash park. The pools were mostly clean, however people kept leaving cups and little plastic bags around and they’d blow into the pool. Not enough regular cleaning checks by staff to get rid of these.
The splash park was good, however with the lifeguard sat so far away there wasn’t really anyone watching closely. It’s safe enough if you’re just going down normally but lots of people were going down on inflatables and I was hit by someone who came down too soon behind me on one. It was a hard hit and I had bruising as the inflatables obviously travel faster and it was lucky it was me that was hit and not my 5 year old who had just gone down in front of me as she would have been injured. The lifeguards need to be monitoring the splash park better rather than sitting watching their phones in the distance as inflatables are dangerously fast.
The food in the restaurant was ok, like with most all inclusive holidays, you get what you pay for. Same with drinks.
The entertainment was ok, there was a mini disco but with it being at 8:30 I found this a bit late for my 2 year old, could do with being a bit earlier. There was other entertainment on after which was ok.
There’s a kids club, which is free but not really very well advertised. You can leave children over a certain age (can’t remember if it’s 4 or 5) and keep checking on them every half hour for the 2 hour period. For children under this age you can still go but stay with them which is good.
I’d say the hotel is geared up for slightly older children (5 and over) as there isn’t much to do for really little ones. There is no playground (as with other child friendly hotels we’ve been to) so my 2 year old didn’t have much to do other than swim which she didn’t want to do all day every day. There is an arcade that you buy tokens for but the games my eldest played on were both broken and we had to get a refund. Also, again kids kept leaving cups and the eggs out of the toy machine laying around so sometimes it was a bit of a mess.
The hotel is in a good location, it’s a 5 min walk to Kings Avenue mall and around a 10 min walk to the harbour. We got a bus to coral bay one day to go to the beach which was really easy to do.
All in all we had a good holiday here but I think safety on the water park and outdoor cleanliness need to be improved.

Went to the hotel with my two kids. Had an amazing time. Had a wee snack left in the fridge as we arrived late. Rooms were basic and cleaned every second day. The tv only had news on so maybe bring a laptop or usb stick in the future. Plugs are the same as the uk. The water park was amazing for the kids, there was a lifeguard there as well. Lots of pool to choose from. Breakfast was mostly English breakfast, cereals, fruits. Lunch was a variety of dishes and dinners were themed most nights. The alcoholic cocktails were lovely! Especially the tequila shots. Free Ice cream from 3 for 2 hours I believe not 100% sure. Going through the lane at the front of the hotel and across the road is less than a 5 minutes walk to the kings avenue mall with lots of shops in it. My kids loved jumbo which is right at the bottom and is similar to an ikea for kids and homeward stuff. The harbour was a 15/20mins walk from the hotel and by walking further to the left there’s a nice bit for a swim. There was some entertainment for adults at night but nothing for the kids, and the kids club was shut due to Covid 19. As a whole, I would recommend the hotel for families or even for couples. The experience was great as everyone on the flight was Covid free. Masks were required at the airport and in the shops but not at the hotel, staff were however wearing them and there was lots of sanitising stations over the hotel.

We stayed at the mayfair hotel as a group of 13 (8 adults, 5 children ages 1-10) and we had the best time. From the moment we arrived the staff were attentive and made sure we had food after travelling before completing check in as we had arrived just after 9pm. The hotel rooms were spotlessly clean upon arrival and after each visit from the cleaning staff who were lovely and made an effort in saying good morning and chatting with the children. The restaurant staff, much the same, so attentive and nothing was too much trouble. The food was lovely, fresh and constantly renewed, with lots of choice and availability throughout the day and at each meal time. The Entertainment staff are brilliant and put all their energy throughout the day into various activities and evening entertainment. The bar staff from the main bar to the pool bar staff were brilliant. Whilst we were there it was my dads 60th birthday and the staff made an amazing effort in decorating a reserved area and were kind enough to provide prosecco for the table as well as a lovely fruit hamper and prosecco to the room. The pool area is perfect for both older and younger children and was well kept and clean. We would definitely return to this hotel using jet 2 who were also brilliant. The hotel is situated approximately 20 minutes walk to the harbour with bars and restaurants along the way and a 5 minute walk to the mall. We also visited Aphrodites water park which was a 10 minute taxi journey. I also have to mention Mr Bakers bakery which is a 5 minute walk away and they do the best kiln baked bread, so definitely worth a try! Hint and tip, if you are planning on staying here, head to jumbos in the mall for any inflatables/pool toys as they are half the price of the surrounding shops.

Arriving at the hotel I thought the area looked a bit drab, but once inside the hotel was superb. On arrival food and drink were on offer whilst you filled in your registration, this meant no quing at reception where the staff were superb.
The room we given did not have pool view but was spacious and comfortable, a nice touch was when clean towels were provided they were arranged as animals or a sleeping person, rooms were thoroughly cleaned daily and staff very friendly. The restaurant served meals from a different country daily with plenty of choices of other meals including vegetarian, again staff were very friendly and efficient. The bar service was superb either waiter service or going to the bar yourself. There is a bus stop not far from the hotel where you can get a bus to the old town one way and the harbour the other, from either bus station you can get buses to any where in the area at a cost of only 5 euros for the day, great value.
This is a hotel I would thoroughly recommend.

You can walk to the harbour which is quite nice and contains restaurants, bars etc. This is about 30 minutes away. So too is an archaeological site which is worth a visit. You can book excursions and they will pick you up from outside the hotel. I'd definitely recommend this.
Hi, we had a pool view room and they are nothing special. There are two different pools areas, so it also depends where your room is. The ones facing with the childrens pools etc has more noise from kids and the the ones facing the larger family pool had the noise from the bar and evening entertainment. It is not our usual style of hotel as our kids have grown up, but it was a good place to be for a mixed age group and family wedding party.
