A great welcome awaited us at this hotel. Met at the door by Joseph who showed us to our room. Jan was on hand to get us booked in and is a font of all knowledge when looking to explore Paphos. We were given a room that was formerly a studio and was a great sun trap in the afternoons, which suited us to a tee. We asked for and got a pool view which was on the ground floor, great considering our walking difficulties. All thew staff were really helpful and we got a lovely surprise on our anniversary with a bottle of wine and a bow; of fruit placed in our room. The dining room staff are completely efficient and no sooner was a table vacated than it was clean and reset straight away. Entertainment was good and one evening was a solo guitar player/singer who was superb. We always take a holiday to celebrate our anniversary and this one was really good,

The staff were very friendly and accommodating to 10 of us staying there for a football tournament along with other teams . Gorgios (?) was excellent in ensuring we had the same table for 10 at each meal and making sure we were catered for . The rooms clean and fresh . The food excellent. The entertainment ok . Near everything we wanted to see on this trip . Well done to all the staff

From the first day we arrived, until our last day, today we have enjoyed the welcoming, friendly feel to this hotel/ resort. The staff go out of their way to ensure your holiday is 100% perfect. Entertainment team: Vicki, Nicky, George & lovely lady who has a gift with the younger children, animation/ dancing every evening. We came here to celebrate our 32nd Wedding Anniversary, so when given info on a Blue Lagoon excursion by Olivia was very helpful, made it very special. Even with weather cloudy some days we found enough to keep us amused with nearby bus 610 to market/old Town or harbour for 1.50 euro each. Reception, bar staff, waitresses absolutely wonderful, a special thanks to Suzette & Silvere remembering our drinks order so quickly, always with a smile. Last but not least the housekeepers: WOW! I know from experience the hard work these staff have everyday. Thankyou to all. Hotel owner too, very approachable & helpful. Your team of staff are a credit to the every day running of hotel. Food excellent & so varied with theme nights, loved it! Many thanks We will return again. Vanessa & John Ellis

This was our first visit to Paphos, and the Mayfair didn't disappoint. From leaving the bus, the whole experience was fantastic. The hotel is very clean and welcoming, and the arrival process is slick and speedy. The rooms have been recently upgraded by the look of it and are again clean, with your usual items such as TV, tea and coffee, shower gels and lovely clean bedding and towels. Every member of the staff is outstanding, from Georgio and Restaurant team, through to the bar staff, reception and cleaners. They can't do enough for the guests. Nothing is too much. The food was brilliant, with plenty of choice and lots of it, different theme evenings which allowed for a variation. There's even a lower area for children to allow them to get their own meal. The bar is well stocked, and the brilliant girls provide a waitress service to your table, and you can get your own from the bar if you're feeling energetic. There was entertainment on in an evening even though it was in low season, which was a bit of a bonus. One feature I thought was exceptional was the wifi. This was a very good signal throughout the hotel and grounds, awesome in this day, and a godsend to speak to family back home. I wouldn't hesitate in recommending this hotel, great place. Downside, which is nothing to do with the hotel. There is not much going on around the hotel, but it's a great chill out location.

This is our first time in Cyprus and what a good choice this was. The pulled up outside and was greeted by the lovely Val, very smiley and efficient and gave us our bands with no hesitation, check in was a breeze and we were soon in our room which was very clean and spacious. The hotel is set in a quieter part of the island, if you want a livelier area, this might not be for you, but the main bars are roughly a 15 minute walk away so not too bad. The rooms are cleaned daily apart from a Sunday and the staff do a fantastic job, our room always looked lovely and fresh towels with complimentary toiletries are super handy. We are all inclusive and the choice of food was astounding, there is literally something for everyone, the food was hot, delicious and plentyful. There are theme nights throughout the week so there is always something different on the menu. The staff are all really lovely, George the restaurant manager is lovely, the bar staff are all super lovely, the entertainment team are fantastic and encourage you to participate (but only if you want to). The only downside as per is the sunbed situation around the main front pool, people were saving sunbeds from 6.30am (how very sad) I do wish that this was monitored and appropriate steps taken, there is a large pool around the back though with plentiful sunbeds, it just means a walk to the bar. Sadly the weather was a bit rubbish but we can’t do anything about that, but for an early March trip we still came away with nice tans and relaxed into the rest of the year. I highly recommend Mayfair Hotel and Gardens, we’ve had a fantastic time and wouldn’t hesitate to return again. Thank you for looking after us all so well.

We've just returned from a wonderful stay at the Mayfair Hotel in Paphos! On arrival, we were greeted by the lovely, friendly Jan who offered us a seat, a refreshing drink and a selection of biscuits and cake to enjoy whilst we were filling out the check-in form. Such a pleasant change from queuing to check in at the reception desk. We were then escorted to our lovely superior room by a very friendly member of staff who also made us feel so welcome. Our room was modern and bright with a fab modern bathroom which had a huge walk in shower/wet room. And what an amazing view of the pool and far reaching views to the sea. We were treated to a lovely view of the sunset from our balcony each evening! Each and every member of staff, without exception were so friendly and efficient. In particular the aforementioned Jan in reception/concierge, Olivia in the bar and the wonderful restaurant manager George, who is nothing short of amazing. He made our holiday so special and made us feel like VIP's...even presenting me with a special birthday cake and sang 'Happy Birthday' to me on my birthday! The hotel was always spotlessly clean and tidy wherever you looked, including our room - which was cleaned daily and fresh towels and toiletries left for us. We were so impressed with the food in the restaurant....with so much variety we were spoilt for choice and loved the daily themed dinners. The 'Sunday Roast" was as good, if not better than any carvery I have been to in the UK! Food was quickly replenished as soon as it was getting low and the waiting staff were very quick, efficient and friendly. We were staying at the Mayair at the same time as for of the UEFA under 17's football teams, together with their managers, coaches etc from Italy, Ukraine, Ireland and Cyprus. The behaviour of all of the young men was exemplary at all times and the hotel's restaurant managed mealtimes supurbly, with all the teams often arriving around the same time. The All Inclusive drinks offering was extensive and also included a selection of cocktails - so more than enough to choose from and the bar staff were all brilliant. We were particularly impressed with the table service in the evenings, meaning we could either have our drinks bought directly to our table or go up to the bar if we chose to. We also enjoyed the evening entertainment, with some great singers on a couple of the evenings and a wonderful dance troupe on our last evening. We even took part in the karaoke on a couple of evenings and had a go at the bingo - which has some pretty decent cash prizes and a bottle if fizz to go with it, so well worth a go at 5 euros per card! The location of the hotel is ideal ..you are literally 5 mins walk from the Kings Avenue Mall shopping centre which has plenty of designer shops (plenty of well known names) an M&S, a large supermarket, a cinema (most films are in English) and a great food court - including many well known brands. A 15 minute walk in one direction will bring you to Kato-Paphos and the harbour area and a 15 minute walk in the other direction brings to the lovely old town of Paphos which has a great selection if shops, restaurants and bars and a nice park area. If you don't fancy the walk then there is a bus stop a few minutes walk from the hotel. All in all, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Mayfair Hotel and Gardens and would like to congratulate the management and all the staff for all their hard work in making this such an excellent choice of hotel for our holiday in Paphos. We would have no hesitation in recommending the Mayfair Hotel and Gardens and will definitely be returning!

We visited here on the 12th March for a week. When we arrived at the hotel we were greeted by the wonderful Jan who gave us our forms to fill in and was a good help throughout our stay. We always go All inclusive these days and have never had better food than what we had at this hotel, there was so much choice and only problem was deciding what to have 🤣. Food was always hot and the restaurant was ran like a Swiss watch by the restaurant manager and his fantastic team. Drinks at the hotel were also really good, i was drinking a beer called Zorbas and never got sick of it, red and rose wines were also fine. No problem getting served at bar, hotel was quiet when we 1st got there but got busier during the week and they doubled the bar staff which was good. A shout out to Olga who is the happiest bar person I have ever met, all the bar staff and waiters/waitresses were fantastic and on an evening they served you at your table which was brilliant. The entertainment team were good and very friendly with day and evening entertainment and they got my 4 year old grandson Teddy up on stage to help read out the bingo numbers, which he loved. We stayed in room 268 which was perfectly fine and kept really clean by our wonderful cleaner who made a wonderful elephant out of towels 👍 This is a wonderful hotel and we wouldn't hesitate to go back and for food alone we would give it 5 stars, all the staff were amazing
