The décor of this hotel is really interesting. So much effort and creativity has gone into the decorations. The pool area is really relaxing with the over hanging plants. Our room was very clean and all in good working order. We did not have a holiday rep so found the knowledge of the reception staff very helpful. All of the... More

The room we had was a bit dingy and smelt nasty. The balcony was dirty, bed sheets had seen better days. Breakfast wasn't bad, staff were not awful either. Outside pool area really pretty, pool is small but really pretty

We visited the hotel for New Year. The hotel is located near all archaeological sites. The decoration of the hotel is very interesting - lots of mirrors and Greek scenes. The rooms are very clean and spacious enough. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. The food was very tasty and varied, especially New Year's Eve. Our stay at the... More

I totally agree with Christina 1001's review...so I won't repeat her very accurate comments, but just to add: We had a meal there one evening 14 euros each...but it wasn't worth it. I can think of many other restaurants that are doing set 3 course meals for 15.95 euros that are far superior and only a short walk from the... More

a little over the top with murals which swamp the hotel .the hotel is in need of a overall in many places.the ground floor pool is overhung by trees and vegetation .unfortunately a group of six adult russians decided to commandeer the swimming pool diving off the roman design stone pillars they appeared to be rather intoxicated and absolutely no... We flew into Paphos and needed somewhere to stay for the night before driving to the other side of the island. It took us a good 20 minutes to even find the entrance to the hotel after going into the wrong one opposite, no signs to reception from the main road and the roadworks just make things worse! I'm not... More

Stayed in Roman which is much better than Roman 2. I had a pool room but it was too noisy so they moved me to a garden view room which was lovely. Small shaded pool surrounded by flowers so not much sun around the pool. (Rooftop pool in Roman 2 over the road is better and is open after 6pm,... More

Our guidebook described Roman Hotel as designed with "bizarre fantasy" - that is quite an accurate description of this truly unique place which awaits you with pseudo-antique full height murals, walls consisting entirely of mirrors, artificial leopard fur wall lining, and an layout that makes every maze designer green with envy. Despite its uniqueness, the hotel is clearly aimed at... More
