This is our 3rd stay in Paphos, each time at a different hotel, and whilst the previous 2 hotels were very nice, the Almyra surpasses them both. Upon arrival we just knew we were in for a special experience. The receptionist was attentive and the porter was just outstanding, so friendly and informative. Our room was immaculate, with a view to die for. I love seeing the sea. The cleaners kept our room spotless every day. The breakfast was excellent, with a wide range of choice of food; and the veranda provided a beautiful outlook. Everyone, without exception, were so helpful. The Spa was a treat, which again was exceptional. It was my birthday and when we returned to the room, the hotel had provided a birthday cake, a candle and some matches to light it...it's the little touches that show they care. The location is perfect for the harbour and the local cafes etc. There were some improvement works to the road outside, but that did not really impact on our stay. Perfect!! That's all I can say. A week before my stay the hotel cancelled my reservation and moved me to another hotel in their group. The reason was that they decided to close for a while and consolidate guests in one hotel. I understand the business sense behind the decision but it could have been handled better with some kind of compensation (eg dining voucher / spa credit) but they are not doing that. I now need to find time to rebook a different hotel not in the chain. I’m disappointed as I was looking forward to staying here as I had researched it and it had been recommended to me.

I had a wonderful stay at the Almyra. The porter on arrival was so helpful. My room was beautiful and very clean. The bed was very comfortable. The staff in the restaurants, were very friendly and attentive, and the food everywhere was delicious. Great breakfast! Will certainly return.

We had a wonderful 5 nights at Almyra. The hotel is understated luxury. The staff are so warm and welcoming and extremely professional - from the porter to the restaurant staff to the poolside staff to the management. The food is beautiful and fresh with a wide choice. Eating breakfast in the sun under the olive trees is very special. Glorious weather, beautiful pools and an adult only area at Almyra Spa which is idyllic. Very close to the sea, ideally situated for walking down into Paphos, going for an early morning run and swimming in the crystal clear sea. The rooms are airy and roomy and very comfortable - very relaxing. We loved it!

The hotel was very relaxing. The rooms were clean and the beds very comfortable. The staff were very friendly and helpful and always had a smile. The hotel is in a good location with easy access to the central and port area which took only 5 minutes along the coastal path. The rooms were very quiet and no sounds from other rooms could be heard. There was plenty of choice of food at breakfast. We enjoyed our stay here and left feeling very relaxed. I recommend this hotel.

Nice location, good breakfast but the bath room was old and mouldy, relly not a five star standard. The "Garden view" was a look into a cement wall. We upgraded our room but had to pay full price and it was not possible to discuss with the manager. The rest of the staff was very friendly and it is a good choice for families with small children. If you were not up early enough you didn't get a sun bed at the pool.

It was wonderful! The staff were very friendly. Our room was lovely with a great view of the sea. Food was delicious. We were able to choose where we ate. There was a lack of dairy free options at breakfast. Our reason for giving only 4 stars was that the swimming pools were FREEZING! I would check that they are heated before booking again. They did heat the children’s pool but only towards the end of our stay, sadly.

Excellent location , great walkway to the port , 2 swimming pools plus adults only and a spa pool. Suites were great we stayed in K04 views to sea and sunsets were amazing from the garden area . Room was very clean well furnished , plenty of hangers in wardrobe , bathroom excellent lots of towels and luxury products , All places to eat were very good staff attentive and friendly , We will be back again .

Stayed here for the first time, loved the location and staff. Breakfast was fab, rooms were extremely clean and bed was very comfortable. Plenty of outdoor space with a variety of pools to suit. Only negative/constructive feedback to give: considering the size of the hotel grounds, multiple pools. There is only one disabled toilet which is at reception, the toilets at the spa are not accessible for disabled guests, the toilets for the two other pools are on the beach front quite a walk away from the pool. This made is really difficult for my dad to use the facilities independently and required us to guide him to the toilets each time he needed it due to his eye condition. He was unable to use the spa due to the location of the toilets which was a shame. An accessible toilet located near one of the pools should be considered to cater for guests of all ages and needs. Please pass on our thanks to Valentin who worked at the pool restaurant, he really made our stay special. …

The service was great, the staff was friendly, helpful and informative. The suite was lovely with a great veranda facing the sea. Soundproof rooms, very comfortable spacious bed. Plenty of space for clothes in the lit up wardrobe. The bathroom was as spacious and clean as the rest of the suite. We enjoyed the breakfast at the hotel, but walked in to the harbour for the evening meals. It only takes a few minutes to walk from the hotel. I can recommend this hotel, we had a great experience.
