WOW!! I travelled in October with my boyfriend and family for a wedding (outside of the hotel). We chose the Olympic Lagoon due to the amazing reviews and honestly it didn't disappoint. Room: we upgraded for a pool/ sea view room which I would recommend to anyone. We had a corner room, so perfect views of the pool and out to sea, the sunsets are amazing!! Rooms are big, really clean and the housekeeping staff were great, changing towels twice per day and leaving little chocolates on your pillow. Food and drink: is what made the hotel so amazing to be honest. I've stayed in loads of all inclusive hotels and this was the nicest food by a mile. So much choice, we tried the greek and asian restaurants too, the asian is a must (the creme brulee is amazing). The cocktails wow... in all inclusives you usually get cheap mixed cocktails but these were the opposite, the frozen ones especially! We also ate a few times at the diner, wow!! Burgers are great and the loaded fries are so good! Its decorated like a proper 50s diner, looks fab. Pools: huge, sunbed allocation worked out well for us as we got good sunbeds but if you're unhappy you can request to change. It makes it so much nicer than not getting a sunbed due to people reserving them all day. Location: loved it, far enough out of the way from the business of Paphos but close enough to walk down the front which is a lovely walk. I'd recommend walking out into Paphos theres lots of bars, restaurants and shops, and would recommend the beach club just down the walkway towards paphos, lovely. Not far from the huge mall either. Ameneties: shop, spa, gym and salon onsite, a few bars outside of the hotel locally and shops. We rented bikes from the hotel which was nice, though they could do with upgrading they were a bit old and rusty but did the trick! Other: taxis are really expensive! We paid €50 from the airport which isnt that far away. The hotel can call you taxis that pick you up outside which is useful if you want to get somewhere. It poured it down on the last 2 days, and theres only really one big indoor bar.. nothing to be done as not space for another, but on an evening when its not raining it would be nice if the pool bar was open for drinks as the other one can get crowded. All in all, we had the most amazing holiday. I'm not sure I could stay anywhere else if I came back to Paphos it would have to be here. Would recommmend 100 times over! Amazing place, great staff, gorgeous food! What's not to love :)

Hotel's Favorite
Just returned from 7 nights at this beautiful hotel. We travelled with friends for a weeks relaxation and we could not have been happier. The hotel is spotlessly clean, the food is amazing, and the pool areas are absolutely gorgeous. We cannot find fault with anything about our stay. There are hand sanitiser stations everywhere, all the staff wear face coverings, as well as the guests in the indoor areas. The staff are so friendly and helpful, nothing is too much trouble, the service is brilliant. There is plenty of choice at the bar, as well as a great range of dishes in the buffet restaurant. I can also recommend the Seven Orchids Pan Asian restaurant- the food is exceptional. Cannot recommend this hotel enough, it was excellent!!

This hotel is amazing, from the personnel to food and facilities. Everything is just perfect, clean, available and as friendly as possible. My special thanks is to the personnel in the creche because they made hours of being in this hotel more calm and lovely by taking care of children, making wonderful time for them and for us. The food is every day a perfect combination of everything. Next to that there is an american and an italian restaurant if you get tired of eating buffet, meaning you never get tired! Swimming pool is clean annd perfect.

The Good : big room, big swimming pools, nice interiors and very plite and helpful staff. The bad : small flaws that shouldnt exist at a 5 stars hotel. The silicon around the bath tube started getting black here and there. The balcony door was hard to close. Breakfast was rich and tasty but lunch and dinner food felt overcooked or even worse reheated. If it was a 3 stars hotel i would say it was fabulous but when you pay the premium price you expect more. I was between 3 and 4 stars for my review and i decided to give 4 because of the excellent service. For its price , sorry , i would go elsewhere.

Maybe it was just our unlucky arrival time. But the first impression on this hotel wasn't good. We arrived late in the evening (starting autumn holiday), there was not a bellboy to help, no welcome drink and the reception staff looked tired and were not that friendly. We had booked 4 rooms with seaview and none of them had it! It looked liked the hotel was just over booked. The room we had was 2132 and was according to the hotel a seaview room, but when you look at the photo attached, there is not much seaview. Your are actually looking at the room of the buffet restaurant. An hotel of these standards (and how much you pay) should not sell the rooms on the 1st floor as seaview rooms! After a few days we were finally able to change rooms and got the room we expected. it was on the 4th floor, room number 4336 with a good view. All the rooms are a bit worn, specifically the single extra/kids beds. The shower is in t he bath, for a 5 star also not recommend. There are almost tv channels, specifically a bit of let down if you have young kids with you. Noise from the corridors can be easily heard in te rooms, doors are not good soundproofed. The food at this hotel is really good, with a nice variety. You can also book once a week the asian or local food restaurant. There is also an italian restaurant, but there are no kids allowed. The cocktails at the pool and bar are good, compared with other all inclusive resorts. The pools are nice, but cold. There also 2 slides for kids. They have a system with sunbed allocation, the idea is that you use your allocated sunbeds for the rest of your holiday. It makes sense, but you can be very unlucky if all the nice spots are allready taking for your holiday and this system is more difficult if you are with a big group. One of staff members at the pool allocation isn't friendly and definitely not helpfull. That was an horrible experience. (maybe also proofs the point that allocated sunbeds are not really working). In front of the hotel is a small beach full with rocks. Its allright, but not great for kids. If you go for a 10 min. walk to the right, there is a very nice sandy beach. Very good for kids. The seawater was in october warmer then the pool. Our kids loved the kidsclub. It felt also really save. Adults were not allowed in the play area, which we thought was very good. The day and evening entertainment is good. There is also kids disco and evening shows. At the terrace they have every evening live music. One evening was with greek dancers, which was a lot of fun. This also a wedding hotel, expect big wedding groups. in short: - good food and entertainment. - some staff member need a customer service training. - 1st floor rooms should not be sold as seaview rooms. -not a nice sandy beach in front of the resort.

Our one week stay as a family was excellent from start to finish. We are a couple with a three year old. Kids club was open every day long hours until late in the evening. We did not use it a lot but knowing it was there to help made our holiday more relaxing. We did not need to book kids club either just turn up. Food was good, we enjoyed that we could book the Italian restaurant, Asian restaurant and restaurant close to the beach as part of our all inclusive package. We preferred this because we are not that into buffet food although we used the buffet quite alot. Whilst there we found the holiday very relaxing, I used the gym, indoor and outdoor pool. The location is very good near other hotels restaurants and places to visit all walkable. The cocktails which are included in the the all inclusive were excellent a great choice. The staff were very friendly could not do enough for you always wanted to please. The room was daily cleaned. No issues with sun beds chose your own sun bed for the week. Weather was perfect I would choose to stay in November again. Whilst there we used the hairdressers in the hotel they were great with our three year old, also used the beauty salon very relaxing and good as well. If you live a hectic life and you want a break this is the hotel for you. I don’t often write reviews but thought I should because the hotel was so good to us.

Just back from a wonderful week at the Olympic Lagoon Resort and thoroughly enjoyed every minute of it. The hotel is spotless and has excellent facilities but what stood out was the admirable, excellent staff. Everyone we encountered was delightful and provided excellent customer service with charm and efficiency. The choice and quality of food at the buffet, diner and the a la carte restaurant, Garibaldi's was exceptional. Again, it was the staff who mad our trip so enjoyable. As two of our party were celebrating birthdays, we each had a card, birthday cake and balloon delivered to our room, which was such a lovely gesture. We were also celebrating our wedding anniversary and were given a card and bottle of bubbly! Here are the staff we met who were really exceptional: firstly, at the lagoon bar - Mayank and Sotorios who were always very patient and served delelicious cocktails; At Garibaldi's there was the lovely Lucia Maria who was warm, funny and friendly and the food was absolutely delicious and beautifully presented; We also thoroughly enjoyed the delicious burgers and milkshakes at the Rock n roll diner where again, we received excellent service from Milena and Lowrence, who even went to the trouble of getting my friend a little cake when they learnt it was her birthday. At the main You and me bar, we were served by the efficient and patient Jay, and the vivacious Ilena and Kyriakos, both of whom coped incredibly well on our last night when there were three large groups of guests, all simultaneously demanding drinks and cocktails. They handled all this pressure with grace and good humour so kudos to them. Last but not least, credit must go to the lovely Afrodite and her team at the Snackeria who served the bar snacks cheerfully. The standard of housekeeping was very good and all the public areas were very clean. As the hotel was not very full, there was no need for assigned sun beds and towels were easily available. We really enjoyed our time at the Olympic lagoon resort and hope to be back next year.

Stayed here for 9 days in November leading into December. It’s Out of season so is very quiet. Entertainment- ok when it’s on . Out of season . I think In season it would be very good but not much going on at this time of year. Location. Pretty good. On sea front . 25 min walk to harbour. A few shops and bars outside hotel but closed this time of year. Service was very good with some excellent friendly staff and a few slow ones hiding like most hotels . Food and drink - the reason for the 5 stars . Exceptional. Seriously good. The only problem was not being physically able to eat enough of it. As an example - Yorkshire puddings on Sunday, not seen that anywhere before. . The oriental night was just too good. It’s mad but I overdosed on the Thai chicken soup. Just couldnt stop having it . That’s just the buffet food. Always a fresh carved joint of meat and always some kind of fish . Salad in abundance. Sit down and a cold litre of water is opened and poured . Drinks served within minutes of ordering . The American burger joint does a 7 oz sirloin steak without any fat , cooked to perfection and so tender. And I asked for ribs on top since I couldn’t make my mind up what to have. No issue there, I was told I could just keep ordering steak and ribs until 22.30 if I wanted. Milkshakes made with ice cream . Drinks, local beer, wine and spirits but Smirnoff vodka and a huge cocktail menu . They were pretty fast at serving them too. You don’t go to the bar , they come over quick . One massive let down - this is huge. And really it demands a 3 or 4 star review but it’s a bit unfair on the staff here. Absolutely cannot use any of the pools, or the swim up room pools. They are for show. I know it’s November but Ice might just be warmer . You just can’t believe that the sea is totally fine for going in and out but not the pools. They literally cannot be used. Not even kids were in them. Such a shame. People tried but they were straight out. One guy dunked in the pool so the sea felt like a jacuzzi. Cleanliness and room are spot on. Even have uk plug sockets . They turn your bedding down every night .

We arrived in the evening before my birthday and were met by concierge, offered lemonade and shown to our room, 4343. We arrived around 9pm so the main Buffett restaurant was soon to close, we decided not to rush so went to the American diner. It was quiet in their restaurant but the staff were attentive, polite and friendly, making recommendations. The food InThis restaurant was lovely. Day two, my birthday…..we went out for ice cream across the way at Hippo and on our return I had been left a lovely birthday cake, card and balloon, it was a really lovely touch! Throughout our stay only the main restaurant and American diner were open. Whilst the food was lovely in both, myself being a vegetarian was somewhat bemused/confused that fish dishes were labelled vegetarian. I did always find something to eat however, fish is not vegetarian. I’m not sure the chefs understood the term vegetarian. There were certain parts of the buffet when tongues had been provided to pick up food, it wasn’t always clear which tongues were for which item, so as an example there would be a platter of cubed cheddar cheese and then underneath the platter a platter of meats, If I was in any doubt I wouldn’t choose this option just because I didn’t want to contaminate my food with things I don’t eat. I didn’t make a complaint about these few things, I presume it’s something that has been done for years and as I could always find something to eat, it was fine. I know what I can eat and what I can’t. The staff in both restaurants were absolutely fantastic, from front of house to waiting on staff. Really attentive and lovely. The bar staff were absolutely amazing, the staff go out of their way to keep you topped up with cocktails or whatever it is that takes your fancy and remember what you are drinking too! The room was cleaned daily to a high standard and we only saw the cleaners once whilst we nipped back to the room before heading straight back out, it was like they were magic, coming in waving their wand and going before getting back after a day trip out, relaxing by the pool. There was also a turn down lady who came each evening to check if there was anything we needed, straighten the bed and placed chocolate on the pillow each night. We did have the pleasure of speaking with this lady a couple of time throughout our stay and she was so lovely! We stayed by the pool a couple of days and the pool man said we could just have beds anywhere which was good. I presume this is because it was later in the year. Temperature was a really nice 21 degree, which makes a pleasant change from the 5 degree we woke up to this morning. We did eat out a couple of times and can highly recommend the Naamaste Indian restaurant, it’s a 5/10 minute walk from the hotel but well worth it and was reasonably priced. I would love to return to this hotel some day soon.
