The hotel was just ok! It’s not a 5*Hotel in my opinion! The hotel needs more renovation, better cleaning at public areas and outdoor! The hallway was smelling but and was very hot! The room was ok, big size room but the bathroom could be bettered! The food was ok, not bad but not excellent! The room view was very nice!

I have to say I agree with everything that SunilSingh92 said in their review, our experience is practically the same. Great Hotel, great restaurants (buffet was amazing every morning, noon and night..seriously I averaged 3 trips to the buffet at dinner, because there was so good stuff much to try!) Asian Restaurant was also amazing. Really great pool area where we made lots of friends with different families and couples. This might have been down to the wonderful Entertainment Manager Alex who managed to get everyone into the pool (of their own free will) to do Water Aerobics every day. Believe me, there's no better ice breaker than getting yourself into a cold(ish) pool in November next to a bunch of strangers. Alex we salute you Sir. Also have to mention Plahman the wonderful barman that buzzed around the pool so much making sure everyone had drinks. The lovely Iojona (Joanna) who looked after us whenever we saw her in the hotel, we will miss our morning chats with you Iojana. Thank you so much for looking after us. Also, a special mention to Eleni the cleaner, who came to our rescue with bug spray and nerves of steel when a big bug flew in our room. We are forever grateful. The rooms were very nice and very clean by the way. We had a great stay at the Azia and can't thank the staff enough for doing their jobs so well at this difficult time. I hope that we get to see you all next year, as it's down to you that we want to rebook x stay safe and well in the meantime.

In these difficult times we were thrilled to be able to get away at all and having had to cancel a trip to Spain we decided on Cyprus and choose Azia which was a fabulous decision. From the moment we arrived to the day we left it was all excellent. All the staff went out of their way to put us at ease and make our stay comfortable and relaxing. Our rooms were clean, spacious and the views from our Seaview room was the icing on the cake. We choose a room with a jacuzzi on the balcony and it was lovely to lie back with a glass of wine watching the sunset over the sea. One small negative was the lack of lighting on the balconies but only a small thing. We chose to go with half board and it was great that the hotel allows you to chose breakfast and lunch rather than dinner on the days you would prefer to venture out for dinner. We did however stay in for more meals then we expected to as the food was excellent and the buffet varied daily. We also ate at the Oriental restaurant twice and had really delicious meals with lots of choice. The pool is gorgeous with lots of space and the staff were very quick and attentive. Location wise Azia is not in the thick of the action but it is cheap to get to Coral Bay or Paphos by taxi or bus. We loved Baracas Bar & Restaurant next to the hotel on the beach, fabulous for cocktails, brunch and dinner. I am not good at remembering names but special thanks go to Ioanna in Guest relations who was extremely attentive and helpful. One of our group celebrated her 50th while we were on holiday and Ioanna along with the rest of the team went out of their way to make it a really special day. We can’t recommend Azia and the team highly enough and can't wait to return next year.

We visited Paphos during the Pandemic and stayed at this wonderful 5-star hotel. we expected there to be temporary closures and reduced services, but everything at the Azia was open and running. The one thing that stood out for us, was the level of care and understanding from all of the staff members. The reception and dining team, with a special mention to Gabrielle, Roland, Joseph, Madga, Antonis and Alex, were all so friendly and helpful. They booked our excursions, resolved all allergy and intolerances queries and were helped us with travel options. When we got to the hotel, we were upgraded from a Premium Mountain View room, to a Junior Seaview Suite. The room had an incredible view of the sea with the pool just below. We were given complimentary wine and prosecco and a bowl full of fruit. It may not be the most flamboyant of hotels, but it has everything you need. An inside and outside pool, on site restaurants, a bar and a spa. The one downside may be location, as many hotels are situated close to the harbour. There is however a 615 bus that goes to the harbour and plenty of places around to rent a car. If you are after 5+ star hospitality, I would highly recommend the Azia. For the price it’s perfect for a getaway holiday.
