Arrived late evening, check in was quick, was shown our room, a superior suite on ground floor, had a slight problem with ants in room was given some spray, seem to work after a couple of days, woke next morning to fabulous view from our large patio. Room was clean & basic with kettle, toaster, microwave, hob & a good size fridge, I know some rooms have been renovated to a high standard( see previous review) Pool area is lovely and quiet perfect for a relaxing break, with happy hour at pool bar from 3 till 4, always sunbeds available no rushing first thing in morning to secure, we went down after 10am, still plenty of beds spare, hotel has a nice upper bar area, just a shame hardly anybody ate or drank there at night, maybe the hotel should consider staying open later as the bar closed at 11pm. Some decent restaurants within walking distance Sonnys, harmony, tsiskas tavern, seeyou beach bar, Quiet area at night, but only a short bus trip to either coral bay or paphos, would recommend a stay here, lovely sunsets ☀️

The room was as expected and just like the photographs which we were surprised at. The air condition was fabulous which was really needed in extremely hot weather. The room came with a kitchen which to be fair we didn’t really use but it was nice to have a full-size fridge The bed was really comfortable and we both had a lovely terrace which was right outside of the sea, lending itself to great views. Poolside was very relaxing, great little happy hour between three and four when the cocktails were half price €3.50 which you cannot complain at The staff are really friendly, all were very accommodating. The only niggle I would say is that breakfast could be a little bit better, more pastries and fresh bread, this I feel is really quite normal/ expected. The area is quiet, there’s a supermarket just up the hill and if you go past that you walk down to the sea beach bar, which takes roughly about seven or eight minutes. The sunsets are to die for, so it’s worth going down to catch. Food there is okay, cocktails good. We got taxis on an evening and reception organised this and it was a seamless task. The taxis are very good and will pick you back up and offer you a couple of euros discount to do so, absolutely no problems doing this and were there within a few minutes of calling them to take you back. All good and I would stay at this hotel again, just be mindful it is very relaxing, very quiet and that’s exactly what we wanted.

we’ve been here a week and from the minute we arrived we were treated like royalty, we didn’t see much of the reception staff after arrival as we were off doing our own thing, we met Nimy at the night bar who is a great character very friendly with everyone and advised where to go for good food in coral bay, the pool bar we were served by ana and Stoimen who again couldn’t do enough for us they were so accommodating for everything! the hotel itself is in a BEAUTIFUL location and you’re only a bus away from all the attractions! be weary of taxi drivers as they will charge you what ever they feel like charging on the day but a day pass on the bus is €5 and a single trip is €1.50 each way, bus stop is about a 2 minute walk next to sunset bay so you’re close enough to go and have some fun but out the way enough to get some peace and quiet, i would highly recommend this hotel to anyone thinking of coming to stay. i forgot to mention how lovely the cleaners are too they will clean your room when ever you’re ready and their standards are spectacular our room was always fresh and clean and would smell unbelievable on arrival. Thankyou Vrachia for a fantastic holiday we hope to see you again :)

Just returned from a week's stay at this hotel. We stayed in a Superior One-Bedroom Apartment with Sea View which was a good size, well equipped with a lovely large balcony with superb views. The pool area is small but with sufficient sun-beds for the number of guests and with a bar serving food and drinks all day. We found the staff at the hotel to be absolutely brilliant and willing to help with any questions or problems - particularly when I was getting a bit panicked about our transport back to the airport not turning up!! We can thoroughly recommend this hotel to anyone wanting a quiet and relaxing adults only break in a lovely location.

My wife and I have just enjoyed a lovely relaxing week at this excellent adults only hotel. Our room was spacious with beautiful sea views and it was absolutely spotless with a well drilled cleaning team going in daily. The pool area was perfect, serene, beautiful pool, shade if you want it, a lovely pool bar and a great menu, perfect for getting through a pile of books! The food was great too, nice choice at breakfast and the lunch and evening meals were delicious. The staff couldn’t have been more professional, curtious and friendly, with the lovely Ana being star of the show, happy hour wouldn’t have been the same without her! Can’t wait to go back!

This adults only hotel is small, yet perfect. Just 30 apartments. Our apartment was basic yet perfect. Immaculately clean, fabulous sea view and wonderful balcony. The pool is a decent size and a perfect temperature. We were there just last week (June) and it was not busy. There were sunbeds available at all times of day. The sunbeds have thick cushions on and are comfortable (no need to bring towel pegs). The area is quiet, allowing for total relaxation. Just gentle music is heard at the pool area. There is also a pool bar which provides beach towels and serves food and drinks. The restaurant serves a wonderful choice of food, all fresh and good quality and competitively priced for the area. Most meals around 10-15 euros There is no entertainment at the hotel but this suited us as we like the quiet. The staff are all very helpful, friendly and welcoming. Nothing is too much trouble for them. If you want to get out and about, I would recommend hiring a car or quad bike as there is not much within walking distance at all. There is a lovely beach in walking distance. As it is on the west coast - the sunsets are amazing. It is about a 10 minute drive into Paphos. Highly recommend visiting the Tomb of the Kings and the Mosaics at the end of the marina in Paphos.

My wife and I have just returned to UK after spending 3 very enjoyable weeks in this resort which we found via Jet2 Holidays. We had not visited Cyprus previously so did not know the island or its environment. We opted for a self-catering studio apartment with sea view and were delighted with the balcony overlooking the sea and the facilities available in the apartment, whilst we do not cook when on holiday we do sometimes in the evening like to sit on the balcony and enjoy a light meal of cooked meat and salad items with a bottle of wine. The resort is adults only which suits us being retired and having already done our bit for the future of the world! The apartment had a comprehensive number of appliances and was serviced daily to a very high standard. The on site restaurant offered a wide range of dishes and on the 2 occasions we ate there was good quality. The staff were courteous and helpful. We will probably go her again and heartily recommend Vrachia.

The beach nearby is beautiful, the water is really clear. You can walk out of the hotel rooms right to the sea in less than 3 minutes. The rooms are nicely decorated, clean and have good showers. Staff was always friendly ander really enjoyed it here!

We were tossing up between this place or a hotel in the centre of Paphos and couldn’t have de a better decision! Stunning location, every room more or less has a sea view. The rooms are quite basic but have everything you need. Nice big beds! The pool is fresh but really comfy sun loungers and plenty of them. Breakfast was ok - to be honest a bit limited, but it would be harsh to give 4/5 just for that. The biggest draw of this place is its quiet and long may that continue.

I would recommend the Vrachia to anyone who loves a superbly appointed hotel with an amazing staff! I booked a sea view room and was not disappointed. The recently refurbished room had everything you would need for self catering plus a great walk in shower and a super comfy bed. I opted to have the continental breakfast and I ate in the restaurant most nights as the food was very good. Special mention to Nemy and Miro who looked after this solo traveller very well as did the reception and cleaning staff. The Vrachia is a family run hotel and the attention to detail is clear to see. This adult only hotel is situated on the coastal path and has a quiet and relaxed vibe, perfect to unwind. I hired a car for my stay but there are bus stops nearby for Paphos and Coral Bay costing €1.50. Can’t wait to book for next year 😎
