Sofianna Resort & Spa is a family-friendly All Inclusive hotel. The hotel is located in the centre of Kato, Paphos, which is in the lower east side of the island. Sofianna Resort & Spa is within walking distance to the harbour, and the promenade which is perfectly suited for a run or long walks. The beach, the shopping centre and ancient sites are just around the corner. All hotel guests have All Inclusive, which means that meals are included and you don't have to spend time planning your family's meals ahead of time. The hotel has a range of different room types, all to accommodate your needs. To really indulge yourself you can book a swim-up room where you have the pool a few steps away from your bed, outside on your terrace. The hotel offers two pool areas with water slides, sun loungers and parasols. The children can enjoy the water slides in the splash park while you can lie down on a sun lounger with a refreshing drink from one of the pool bars. The hotel has activities for all.

We visited spa for a full body treatment on arrival and were greeted by Polo and Ellada who were so welcoming and friendly to us. The hour long treatment was so relaxing that we booked a further treatment with them at a reduced cost which we cannot wait to experience. Highly recommend Aego Royal Spa to any visitors to Paphos.

We got back last week after staying at the sofianna for 10 days. We had a lovely top room that was spotlessly clean and large with a good pool view. The food was delious with plenty of choice from breakfasts, lunch and dinner, there were 5 different salads for every sitting. Lovely different theme nights like Italian, Spanish, Greek, Mexican, Asian and even a Sunday roast. The whole grounds were kept spotless and clean. The staff were great and friendly and even the manager had time to talk to you. Ash and the entertainment team work really hard from morning to night and always try to get you involved in the exercises and games. The shows were good and we liked the music quizzes verses each other. The drinks were ok beers a bit of let down but spirits, wines and cocktails were drinkable but served in plastic or paper cups. The lady in back bar made the best mojito and alwasys had a beautiful smile in her face, sorry can't remember her name. The only thing I can complain about which is nothing to do with the hotel was the neglect of paphos outside the resort. It seems it is run down since lockdown. There's litter and cigarette ends everywhere, the bars and shops all boarded up and neglected. The cracked pavements are horrendous and dangerous as we talked to one gentleman who tripped and fell onto the road and was glad there was no traffic coming. On the positive side I would like to thank all the management, staff and cleaners for making us have a lovely holiday after 2 years of lockdown. I would definitely recommend this hotel to friends and family.…

Don’t know where too start This hotel catered for everything that we could of wished for especially for our wedding day . Even though the venue was not in the hotel we were treated and catered for on the morning of the day as if we were having it in the hotel. Greta has been excellent making sure everything was in place including opening the lounge bar on the morning .. Place was immaculate and food was also excellent . Our first family holiday since Covid and the Sofianna Resort and Spa did not disappoint! We travelled with our 2 sons, 6 and 8 and there was plenty to keep them occupied. We had a pool facing room on the 1st floor which was spacious and very clean. The pool areas were clean and the boys loved the fact the hotel leaves the pool floaties around for everyone to use! We loved the fact that on arrival we were shown to our room and around the hotel as to where everything was. The food was amazing for all inclusive and the staff across the whole hotel and friendly and helpful. The blonde lady at the pool bar (I think her name was Anya?) was so lovely, friendly and nothing was too much trouble, please pass on these comments to her, fantastic employee! The hotel was big enough to have enough going on but small enough that I felt safe letting my eldest go to the toilet on his own and the bar to get a drink as I could always see him. We arrived early on Sunday 5th June and were welcomed at reception with a sandwich and a drink of our choice. We were then taken to our room and shown around. Later, we went down to breakfast in the dining room to the warmest of welcomes and from then on the friendliest of staff were always on hand, special mention to Stelios, Yiannis, Eva, Nicki and Christopher, they all had time for you .I feel as though I have made lifelong friends! The food was plentiful and always fresh, and lots of choice for all meals, and specials each night of the week. And then at the bars, there was Alyna, with her wondrous everlasting smile. I had visited the Resort in October 2018, I must say the room looked as clean and fresh as the room I had nearly 4 years before. How do they do it? Do I have any negatives? I don't look for them - we arrived late - not their fault, we requested a late check out and had to wait to the last minute, understandable.
