We booked two nights and only stayed one. In your room, you will hear every note of live music from the rooftop bar as well as the electric guitar and musician from the street below. On a Saturday night, this went on until about 1:30 a.m. We politely explained to the hotel that we were cutting our visit short, but they refused any refund at all (and they were nowhere near full so we hadn't kept them from booking someone else). Only stay here if you are a night owl and VERY loud music doesn't bother you.
We have just returned from a 3 night stay. Booking was managed very well with a lovely harbour view from our little perfect balcony. The room was as advertised, plenty of hot water and clean. Small bathroom but we expected that as we could see it was on older style pension/hotel. We had booked a double room which was two beds pushed together. Note to the owner to purchase some mattress toppers so you dont end up with the beds opening up, meaning you both end up on one side of the bed with a small quilt pulling it backwards and forwards as one you turns over. Towels were clean and fine but the bed linen needs some improvements. Heating worked fine if you are looking to go during the winter. Breakfast adequate and plentiful for a good start to the day. We loved the location and being in the centre of things. Would recommend as long as you know its simple no frills experience - which we did. Thanks to the staff for looking after us.…
If you want a lovely little hotel in the very best location look no further....if you’re wanting a casino with doormen, stainless steel and chrome, walk around the corner. Positioned right on the harbour with castle views, comfortable bed, and continental breakfast included and friendly staff at a great price it’s a winner
I have always liked to look of the White Pearl, and decided to give it a try. POSITIVES Perfect location right on the harbour... Sea view rooms overlook the restaurants and the harbour side and sea. Spotlessly clean. Nice helpful staff. LESS POSITIVE Very limited breakfast offering. Only offer Turkish... But not much choice even so. Bedrooms right outside dining room and reception and public WC.... Very noisy after 6am. Bedroom not made up once during 5 day stay. Towels not changed. Bad smell of drains around the place at times. Rooftop bar closed (OK it is winter). Can be very noisy from the street too with live music played in bar across the road... Although this stopped at about 1130....not sure about summer though. All in all OK.... And it didn't bother me.... But was not cheap-chap.…
we found this hotel by pure chance and asked if they had any rooms for 2 nights. they had a room with a double bed and a small balcony overlooking the harbour the cost was 70 euros per night incl breakfast and we thought that was reasonable even though it only had 1 star rating.the rooms were clean and had everything we needed , fridge kettle mini bar etc.the staff were very nice especially ashee , she spoke so many languages and was such a delightful girl,( she is a big credit to the hotel ) you made us feel very welcome ashee - thank you. this hotel is in the perfect location in the middle of the harbour, the rooms are kept clean and there is a nice bar on the roof terrace. the only down side to the hotel is the breakfast- not much to choose from, no cereal , no croissants, no hot food, no fried breakfast just a turkish breakfast with olives tomatoes cheese etc - not for me ! you can have a hard boiled egg or some toast and there is fruit juice and tea/coffee. breakfast was my only complaint, we will definitely stay here again, in fact we added another three days to our stay because we enjoyed it so much…
FAB few days staying in this small family run hotel we stayed in a room overlooking the harbour with great views and a lovely roof terrace bar where you can get cocktails and watch the sunset. Breakfast is basic but inclusive.
I stayed in this hotel with my daughter and we have enjoyed every moment of it. The harbour is right there and we could enjoy everything the city offered. The rooms are clean, the staff is very friendly, the Pearl Bar offers an amazing view with coctails. Best hotel for the city life.
Right in the heart of Kyrenia harbour, this hotel offers the perfect spot for daily life of Cyprus. Everywhere is walking distance. You can either enjoy the night life or the historical castle in the city. As per the hotel, the rooms are spotless and have an amazing view (some rooms are not facing the harbour though), the staff is very friendly and the roof top Pearl Bar is the most amazing bar ever (view and city lights-what else can you ask for?). I will always come and stay in this wonderful hotel.
This was our first visit and we went for lunch - what a great view of the harbour from the roof terrace, great friendly service and freshly prepared good food. This is a hidden gem for a simple lunch near the harbour. The place was also spotless including the toilet.
I stayed at the hotel for two nights and i really enjoyed it. The breakfast was okay but didn't have a variety. I also liked the location, it's very close to the sea and some local markets. It's pretty better than some of it's surrounding neighbor Hotels.
