Long Beach Club is a four star resort. It is positioned directly on a spectacular beach at Salamis Bay, near Famagusta, in Turkish Republic of North Cyprus (TRNC). We are a boutique resort, offering a far more intimate environment than the larger hotels and a more personal service, whilst never intruding on a guest’s desire for privacy. The resort is set in beautifully lush grounds, surrounded by palm trees.

A beautiful place right by the sea. Friendly staff and good food. Totally enjoyed the beautiful sunrises. Nice clean and bright rooms. A little bit to much sound from discoes and tivoli at night if you like it very silent. Otherwise perfect!

We are here now October 2022 - we arrived late evening and was greeted with hotel keys and evening dinner ( totally unexpected) - was looking forward to beach view villa - sadly we are pool side only villa - basic and clean accommodation - half board which is lucky as there is little choice outside due to being a little isolated - being a vegetarian choices are harder so eating very healthy with salad and vegetables - food very authentic Turkish - Pool is beautiful ( limited sun beds this could be an issue during the high season) along with the sea view which we can just see from our room - sadly the beach is not as stated it is full of discarded rubble/rubbish and weeds/grass, very much in need of a major clean up ! As it’s October there is no entertainment or evening bar hence me writing this while still here with my husband on our 20th anniversary ! TV not working at all unable to gain a signal, told reception sadly they did not resolve - Wifi ok no complaints So now it’s early to bed !

Lovely and quiet, food ok, room not great and we are being ripped off at every opportunity with drinks, charging £30 for a cheap bottle of plonk. Resort is lovely but rooms are sadly lacking. We paid adult price for my son but he is sleeping in a camp bed fit for a 5yr old. Very dirty rooms, very dated and grubby. We love the quiet and relaxing side of things but really not happy with being ripped off. 5 of us and the prices have gone up to what are advertised. We will go supermarket and not be ripped off again

Really disappointed from my stay.As a person working in hospitality management industry for 12 years i could literally say i am really dissatisfied by the customer service and everything .We were given room 214 which was not clean.Really dirty and dusty from the construction taking in place. When we tried taking shower the water came yellow which I presumed it could be legionella bacteria as they didn’t run the water for many days.Wish i could have taken video. At the check in we were not given any information. We have booked mini villa they end up giving us tiny room with two single beds. The aircon was blowing straight at your face when you sleep at the bed near the wardrobe. End up with stiff neck and coldsore the following morning. The wardrobe itself inside was full of concrete dust .Floor was absolutely dirty. However we have complained and the lady in the evening did changed our room and gave us the right one we booked. The first morning there wasn’t any buffet and they said we have to order because of Covid(Which didn’t make any sense as there wasn’t any covid restrictions in place. ) There wasn’t anything else to drink except tea and coffee sachets. Not any jugs of water or juice. So we have ordered water and juice presuming they are part of the breakfast. At the check out we were told we haven’t payed for our reservation (which we did)and they said we have to pay for our little bottles of water and the juice. They haven’t informed us that this is not included. As a person who is paying for breakfast included with the reservation you expect to have the basics.Poor breakfast, poor service, rooms. You are going to the beach site and they want to charge you for sunbeds. There were few sunbeds which were placed near the bar area.I didn’t feel comfortable being close to people eating and staring at you while you are tanning. However last night we had lizard in our room and couldn’t sleep all night. When reported at the check out the manager or owner whichever said this is normal as they catch flies.Fridges are not working properly. They should not be opening for public until they complete the constructions.I highly don’t recommend this place.Wifi doesnt work.No apologies. They said its normal in Cyprus.I was planning to stay for longer and extend my stay but after i went there from day one i have booked at Selamis Bay which i could say its just nothing to compare with this one.Hope they improve their customer service, cleanliness ,breakfast and wifi.

Recently stayed here for a 2 nights with a group of friends. We really enjoyed our stay: the food was very good, enough choices. Fresh egg options at breakfast. Plenty of fruit etc. Lovely pool, although the number of sun loungers poolside is an issue as they always seemed to be taken (even if no one was using them!). The beach is better for sun beds, but go to the left side for access to the sea as it can be a little rocky. The location is great (sea breeze appreciated during August). In general the hotel facilities are pretty good. Prices are very reasonable for a beachside hotel. The villas are fairly small but perfectly adequate for a couple. Air con was always available as was Wi-Fi. Although it was fully booked we found Long Beach to be a thoroughly enjoyable visit and would definitely return.

do not believe the pictures in brochers and on website.but the overall site was very good. movedown the beach 100 metres for the better beach. a nice walk down to the left of the site . but if you just want to rest stay around the site. make sure you check your accommadation on arrival and report straight away to reception they are very helpful but whoever owns it does not spend a lot ont maintenance. the people we booked with (Cyprus Parasdise were exceptionally helpful )

In March I guess it wasn't the right time to go, but where to go with this Covid19? It's in the middle of nowhere, go there & don't move, for luck I had excursions in the package otherwise total bordom. Wifi very poor debit, only at the reception, I will save my energy on not writing alot about this hotel, I think for what I paid, There must be better, but there must be a good star above me because the hotel was changed at the last moment, I was originally booked at the hotel where that german tourist was discovered with Covid19, so I won't say anymore.

We loved everything about Long Beach , the little bungalows, waking up to the sound of the sparrows and the sea... sauntering down to the terrace for breakfast in the warm sunshine, through the date palms and the flowering shrubs. The staff are friendly, helpful and efficient. The rooms are cleaned daily. There's buckets of hot water for the showers. We were there for two weeks and we're not ready to come home and that is very unusual ! We chose half boatd and were more than happy with the food provided. There's a bus available to Famagusta Old town, you just let reception know one hour in advance if you want one. It's usually a bit late but always arrives. You tell the lady on the bus which bus you want to come back in ... Sometimes it's the school bus and the children are polite and offer a seat if it's crowded. Get off at the Castle and cross the road straight into Petek's cake shop which is heaven ! Try the pistachio cake and the baked cheesecake ... both delicious washed down with a Turkish coffee. Walk into the centre for a fresh Pomegranate juice. We hired a car for 3 days and explored the Karpaz peninsula , it's worth spending time out there ... stop for lunch at The Blue Sea hotel, where Grandad serves you a meze and the fish he caught with lovely chips cooked in olive oil. Go to Golden Beach. .. and swim where the Turtles nest . It's a lovely time to visit ... Sometimes we saw a handful of cars as we drove around and lots of tractors! ! Nicosia is worth a day's visit ... great for shopping and lots of places to sit with a coffee and watch life around you. Look for the coffee roasting shop and try halloumi cheesecake. Most of the people we spoke to have visited Long Beach Resort Hotel before and everyone including us will be returning next Autumn . Practical info ... kettle in the room , no hairdryer so take one . Beach towels available at reception, no charge. Laundry service is v good ... about ten shirts, t-shirts and pyjamas all washed and ironed for just over £13 and back the next day ! Easy .

Anybody wanting a quiet resort with friendly staff this is the place to go. Throughly enjoyed a recent 10 night break there. The location is quiet but the food and bar are first class. The hotel needs a bit of freshening up but apart from that the beach side villas are perfect . For a quiet holiday on the beach I would recommend this place

Among the high rise glitzy impersonnel hotels that tourist boards accross the world seem to think people want you sometimes find a little of how things were and how they should be. Long beach is low rise in fact single storey rooms that they call mini villas a bit of a stretch really although the larger seafront villas have more room. It is peaceful and the pool is large and clean although sunbeds could be an issue in high season as people with villas close by seem to take the beds and put them outside thier rooms as it was low season we did not have this problem. There is a private beach with bar in high season which apparantly closed on 1 October along with the snack bar on the beach as well as the swim up pool bar. The rooms are a bit tired and in need of some update. I heard that the owners are torn between renovation or demolition and a new high rise hotel on the site a reason why the place is a bit in limbo. Having said that the rooms were kept very clean and it is really quiet with a good nights sleep assured. I would suggest that anyone who thinking of going takes the half board option, not because the food is amazing, it is just that there is no where else within walking distance to eat. If you have a car not so much a problem but without the added cost of a taxi you will be stuck for an evening meal. Things may improve as they are developing the area but at the moment this is the only fault I could find with the place. The hotel food is typical Turkish buffet style with lots of chicken and vegtables. The cyprus potatos in all forms are wonderful so much taste. Evenings in october were very low key but the patio is right on the beach and the nights are warm and peaceful. Drinks are cheap with a beer at £2 and a bottle of wine between £6 and £9 even cheaper in Famagusta. There is a small beach bar 15 minutes stroll down the beach where a beer and coke cost under £2.Apparantly it is a bit livlier in the high season but it was certainly an early to bed atmosphere in oct. To sum up, clean, good value, easy Dolmus access to Famagusta (£1-20 each way), but a bit isolated as far as dining out was concerned.
