What a lovely hotel with views of rugged mountains, vineyards and the Prince"s castle illuminated at night. Beautiful antique furnishings, clean and luxurious. Yes, pricey, but what a way to splurge after doing airbnb! However, what made Hotel Loewen most memorable for us was the personal service we received from Paul, who greeted us when we arrived tired and at... More

Very nice hotel in the heart of Vaduz. Located in 600 year old castle gives him charm. All the staff and especially Mrs. Adele, make you feel here at home. Rooms are large and despite roadside location we slept well. Worth considering the longer vacation here.

The Hotel Gasthof Loewen is a beautiful hotel in the heart of Vaduz Lichtenstein. It is in a 600 year old castle and features it's own vineyard (and wine), bar, and restaurant. The hotel staff is very friendly, extremely helpful, and wonderfully accommodating. We were sad we only had one night to spend here -- we absolutely loved it. We... More

Some people review this place positively, which is just naive. I use “fraud” in the legal sense, knowing European standards, this is factually not 4-star. At $400 it is a vile rip-off. True facts: - 0-stars for sweltering 27˚C (80˚F) heat in the room, with thermostat off – when it is a brisk 15˚C (60˚F) outside. - 0-stars for 30˚C... More

Beautifully restored 14th century building, in walking distance to town center with castle above. Historic hotel with old time charm, from the dining rooms to the bar to the garden restaurant surrounded by a vineyard to a "Torkel", a cellar with an antique grape press. This room can be booked for large groups and events. The cuisine is simply exquisite... More

The hotel dates back to the 14th century with a very nice atmosphere. I had a large room on the street side, as the walls are thick and the windows of good quality I hardly heard the noise from the main street, hence I didn’t use the earplugs provided by the hotel. The staff was very friendly and acted as... More

This hotel was a main stagecoach stop on the road from Vienna to Milan since the 1300's. Our top floor corner room was very spacious. We loved the European duvets and the heated floor in the bathroom. Beautiful Villeroy and Boch tile details. Hosts were superb. Loved that it was right on the bus line back to the train station,... We stopped here for a quick lunch while driving from Zurich to Fussen. It was convenient. The food was very good but a bit pricy. Easy access to the castle and downtown. Free public parking across the street.

This hotel is almost as nice as they get. The rooms are spacious, stylish and very old. Wifi works fine, there are 200 TV channels to choose from. The hotel is by the main road but the sleep quality is excellent anyhow. Beds are really good. Breakfast is good and their restaurant excellent with their own wine. Really good service.... More

Our room was nice and the 600 year old building was very atmospheric. The staff were friendly and welcoming. I know Liechtenstein prices are off the planet but CHF300 (about £200) per night was extreme and would have expected slightly more attention to detail such as not having threadbare sheets and a telephone that didn't work. Would suggest seeking out... More
