Nice property. Well located right next to the lift up to the Sareiserjoch and the bus stop.Kind of at the end of what one would consider "town" (keeping in mind that it's only a 5 minute walk to the tourism office at the start of the town area). Rooms were spacious and comfortable for our party of 4. Kids had their own connected room with bunk beds. No view to speak of. Windows looked out back and onto a hillside 5 feet outside the window. Bathrooms were adequate if not a bit on the small and plain side. No bath versus a shower. Towels weren't provided for the 4 of us versus for 2. There was only 1 set of slippers and 3 robes for the room. Pool and sauna/steam room area areas are nicely done. One day towels were provided, none were to be found the next. We ate nightly at the hotel restaurant and were always pleased with taste, presentation, and service. The chef (owner?) usually comes out and says heel o to everyone. Added bonus....the playground for the kids was appreciated as was the trampoline, and the rabbit hutch. Property also has a playroom which my youngest child appreciated. Overall a neat little property that I would happily return to and recommend to others...just have to keep up on the towels and slippers.…
The staff is great, clean room, delicious food (they even prepared gluten free good for me!), cozy sauna. The only minus is that I think they should add more chairs or hooks to hang out stuff when we are at the swimming pool/sauna. People forget there are other guests and occupy all the space leaving no room for others. Fruits at the front desk and at the room... A bus stop in front of the hotel. Congratulations guys! You do a great work!
From the moment you enter in this charming family run (father and two daughters) chalet hotel in the mountain town of Malbun you feel the warmth and want to stay. Rooms are large, food is exceptional, hiking is perfect (many and varied) and the duvets are wonderful. There is a very good spa - both steam and dry saunas, a small pool, comfortable lounge chairs and showers - all of which are terrific after a day of hiking. The bus stops at the door and the lift is beside the hotel. Situated in a closed-end valley below the peaks - it is well situated in the small village of Malbun. Thank you for a wonderful stay. Your are great hosts.
We stayed for just one night. Checkin was smooth and friendly. Our room was lovely, adjoining room with bunk beds for the kids. We used the pool and hot tub facilities - both fantastic! Breakfast the next morning was good and plentiful. All the staff we encountered were nice and friendly. Nice hotel. Would recommend.
We drove 1.5 hours from Lucerne to see Liechtenstein -- very glad we did. This is in Malbun, about 20 minutes over the mountains from the prince's palace and Vaduz. It's a small ski village with basically a cul-de-sac of hotels. Hotel Turna is at the end of the cul-de-sac adjacent to one of the ski lifts. Beautiful views of the mountains and the cows with their large cow bells. This was a steal for a spacious room with bunk beds -- $90. Large bathroom with typical toiletries, robe, and slippers. Walk-in shower (no tub) has a nice showerhead. Beds are luxurious with comforters. Free wifi works well and work desk had two chairs, fresh lavender in a vase, essential oils, free water, and an apple and orange. Restaurant is excellent -- kitchen open until 10. Breakfast buffet was yummy with the typical eggs, meat, porridge, yogurt, bread/rolls, cheese, juice. Children's play area adjacent to the restaurant. Only down-side were the bunnies. Unsupervised and unregulated, the children were downright torturing the bunnies. Very sad...very abusive. I hope they remove the live animals.…
