We stayed here right before Germany shut down it's hotels. The staff was pleasant but seemed to be only a very small crew left. We did get a nice breakfast in the dining room. The problem was our room was over the restaurant and it had a strong fish smell. We were also were on the first floor and the noise from the guests talking near restaurant entrance was very loud.

The hotel was fine, but we really missed the airconditioning. We had to open both windows and that caused a lot of noice from the street. Also the lift of the hotel starts at the 1th Floor, which is a problem for people who cannot walk that good.

Hotel Vauban is great place to stay with a central location and what I thought was a pretty good value. It’s an easy walk to shopping, Grund, Notre Dame and plenty of restaurants and bars. The staff was friendly and helpful. No complaints.

The location was perfect right in the center. Very close to the shops and transportation. The room was pretty spacious and clean. The breakfast was average since there was nothing hot such as bacon, sausage, beans etc. Nevertheless it was good.

Luxembourg City is charming and so is this small hotel on a main square. The central location is excellent for walking to explore all of the city. Staff were extremely helpful and kind. I was a senior traveling alone and I never had to lift my luggage or even provide my own umbrella. Breakfast was delicious - lovely breads and preserves as well as boiled eggs with a neat gizzmo to cut off the top! I enjoyed the Farmers market set up Wednesday morning - just wish i could have bought some of the lovely offerings - but alas - i was traveling light. City info center on the square was useful. The square is undergoing construction so does not resemble tourist photos - but the services are all there.
