Staff was very friendly, but that all about it.. Hotel has a very very classic look, needs some maintenance in several areas like the bathroom. Is near the lake, what is a good thing, but it's a pity that it isn't a little more "taken care" off.

I agree with some of the other reviewers that this is an older property that seems to be stuck in time from the 1950s. And therein lies its charm. Rooms are not air-conditioned but are well-maintained. The pool is very nice and though service was a little haphazard, the restaurant was good. Hard to call it 5-Star but certainly 4+.

Five star service from the moment you arrive. Spacious rooms, gourmet restaurant, well-equipped gym, pool on the small side. Splendid view from the terrace restaurant, across the valley over the rooftops of the city to Germany. We would recommend taking the upgrade to half-board, which includes four course dinner. Great value. An added bonus is the supermarket at the bottom...

We booked a mid week – half pension – for the family in 2 luxury suites. These are not cheap but you have plenty of room and a great view from the balcony. Unfortunately there was no airco in ours (342 and 343) since it wat up to 30°c outside. With the warm weather, we were very pleased with the...

The hotel is located on the hill with fantastic view on Echternach. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The rooms still need some renovation, but the bathrooms are already renovated in a fantastic way. The hotel has also an excellent kitchen, so if you like to enjoy great food with a great view it's advised to take half board....

The rooms are large to say the least but oldfashioned. The bathrooms date back to the 1960s, there is no aircon. The restaurant is not what you expect from a 5-star hotel, ask for orange-juice and they will simply serve you a bottle of something orange, the food is average at best. On Saturday they have a cold and warm...

We spent a week here in a large, comfortable room with great views from the balcony. It is on the edge of Echternach, near the lake, about 25 min walk to the town centre. There are lots of activities available, indoor and out door swimming pools, sauna, gym, tennis, table tennis, squash and snooker. We used the excellent outdoor pool...

This hotel is very comfortable and well appointed if a little old fashioned. The room was very large and comfortable, but the bathroom was a bit dated although very clean and fresh. We had dinner in the restaurant both nights, the Saturday buffet being excellent. the Sunday set menu offered no choice and was dis-appointing after the buffet. Breakfast was...
