We stayed three nights in this hotel. It was a very friendly staff. The room was very clean and it was very short way to walk to the city center (1 min walk). It is no parking in the hotel but you can park in the harbour (several parking places where you can stay free of charge) and walk back 5 minutes to the hotel. The breakfast was good with a lot of choices. The room was quiet and it was not a lot of traffic outside the hotel. We will really recommend this hotel and next time we are back in Torshavn we will book directly on their website and not via other booking sites. We had a very good communication with the hotel manager. Looking forward to see you next time.

Stayed here because of the excellent location and cheap(er) prices. Our room was not in the main hotel, but in the guesthouse adjacent to the hotel, which is more akin to a hostel. The room was rather small, with two single beds, two windows, and a tiny bathroom that also was the shower. Was odd (annoying?) having to use a squeegee to get all the water off the entire bathroom floor (the entire floor is both the bathroom floor and the shower floor - it's all the same). There is a large kitchen and sort of a dining room in the guesthouse where you can cook your own food. The hotel and the guesthouse is in a quiet area. Everything in the immediate vicinity closes well before 10PM, so it's peaceful when it's time to sleep. Of course, you may have noisy hotel neighbors, and the walls and floors are thin... The Staff was very nice and friendly. Breakfast (included with all rooms) was great - decent selection and always filling. Bread, meats, cheeses, fruits, cereals, eggs, coffee, teas, orange juice, etc. WiFi worked fine. As for parking, you can park on the streets surrounding the hotel, though during the day you're limited to an hour or two. Overnight is no problem. There is also a 24hr parking lot not too far away, but it's a bit of a walk from the hotel (maybe 10 minutes). Parking is free everywhere, just keep in mind the limited time allowed depending on where you park. We stayed four nights and although the room was small and I felt the guesthouse to be more of a large hostel, it was fine for us because our only time spent in the hotel was to sleep at night. If you're in the Faroes just to hang out at a luxurious hotel, this isn't the place. If you need a "base camp" for exploring the islands, then this would do fine. Note where breakfast is served is also a restaurant later in the day. We ate there once and it was good.

Was searching for Frumbiti restaurant, when we found the hotel dining. The breakfast buffet was good, and nicely priced. Eggs (scrambled, soft-boiled), juices, coffee, cereals, yogurt, breads and pastries. Thanks for being there!

Considering this just feels like a glorified Hostel you might feel disappointed with what you get for the price you pay. There are much better options like HOTEL TORSHAVN and Hotel Hafnia if you are looking for real comfort and better hospitality. Very Scandic in design, feel and Vibe LOCATION: A bit away from the harbor, but still walkable from most Bars, Cafes and POints of Interest in old town DINE + DRINK: They have a nice Lobby level hangout area where you get free COFFEE and TEA all day long. You can also buy beers and snacks out there. Breakfast is a simple affair with no specially prepared food like eggs or local cuisine. ROOM: We stayed in Room #22, so this review is based on that; VIEW: Sweet view of the Old city and Water; SIZE: Very Compact room; AIR-CON: Perfectly functioning cooler that helped in setting the perfect room temperature; BED: Super Small Twin beds That i could barely fit into, and worried all night of sliding out of it and falling down!; BATHROOM: Very small bathroom with a Super TINY Stand in shower that i could barely fit into!!; TOILETRIES:OK cosmetics. FACILITIES: No Gym or Pool, Pure island chill! SERVICE: Friendly staff that took care of all my needs with a smile HOW WIRED YOU WILL BE: Free Wi-Fi that works well all over the property. Small Plasma TV screen dishing out dozens of channels spanning sports, news, music, movies and a wide variety of entertainment in multiple languages
