Booked the room through their website. Stayed there for 2 nights (25-27 July) on my own. The room had a single bed, was a bit small, but very clean and quiet. Although the hotel was fully booked due to the upcoming festival, I didn’t get much noise around the room. There is free breakfast which had chocolate, watermelon (I didn’t...

I booked a triple room on booking.com website for our first night in Faroe Islands. We arrived, in Torshavn, after an evening flight from Bergen. We rented a car at Vagar airport and drove easily to the Hotel. Free parking, free Hi-fi, warm welcome, clean rooms ( we had a double sea view and a single one instead of the...

Very easy booking and nice and friendly welcome when we arrived. Nice and new average quality and size of rooms. Nothing fancy about this place which clearly suited US and the other guests. Relaxed atmosphere. Breakfast adequate. Chose bedroom facing the sea, if possible.

The hotel does what it needs to do. IKEA-style interior. Breakfast buffet offers the necessities. It can be a bit noisy, thin walls, although trying not to disturb other guests it is easy to disturb. Parking and Wifi are free. Around the corner within 5 minutes are 2 mini markets for shopping.

Hotel Streym is a good modern hotel, had a nice comfortable room with good en suite shower, heating very efficient, close walking distance to center of Torshavn, buffet breakfast good (also tea/coffee facilities in the breakfast buffet area), staff very helpful (also English speaking),

Hotel Streym was a good base for my first 2 nights in the Faroe Islands - the hotel accommodated my very late night arrival, and they arranged a well-priced car rental, including for 1 day that I was not staying at the hotel, with a flexible drop-off at the airport. My room was a twin room, so spacious for just...

The hotel is a 5 minute walk away from the city center and we could see the sea from our room ( the last on the third floor). It is clean, modern and we really cannot complain about it. If we have to find a slightly negative point we could say that we had expected something more for breakfast by...

Enjoyed a few days here in May, no complaints. Beds and duvet gave a great nights sleep, breakfast is fine though no more than necessary. Walls are though paper-thin. Coffee is available during the day, though during the evening it is Nescafe instant - in fairness, not a bad substitute and I'm sure many wouldnt care. Location is great, a...

The hotel is OK, nothing fancy - but good enough. The rooms were fine but the shower awful and had absolutely no power. The breakfast buffet is very nice. The staff is friendly and they have rental cars available for a very good price.

Stayed here for 3 nights on a visit to the Faroe Islands. The hotel is conveniently located next to the ferry terminal on the harbour in Torshavn, which makes it an easy walk into town and its attractions. The buses are also nearby for those who use them and turning left out of the driveway takes you out of town...
