Spent an excellent week here from March 6th, studying the Great Siege of Malta. Lovely people, fantastic staff. I left an item of sentimental value behind in my room when I checked out and the team could have not been more helpful in getting the item back to me. Great service and will definitely recommend to everyone!

The best view! You have a terrace and a view on Grand Harbor - amazing! The rooms are spacious, but very simple, with the typical smell of...humidity, I guess. It's not too bad, but still unpleasant. Furniture is very, very basic too... A renovation is needed, obviously. As usual on Malta, there are no carpets, but they don't offer any...

I am really enjoyed my four days stayed in British Hotel Malta. The staff are very friendly and helpful, upon my check-in, they has upgraded my room from single room to twin room which was a surprise to me! The staff has explained well everything in the hotel for me to understand and always smile on their face, suggested the...

The location is great but I would definitely recommend going for a harbour view room. We were originally in a small room overlooking a side street which we found to be very dated and dark - the shower was awful but when I mentioned this to reception they changed our room to a nice one which overlooked the harbour. This...

The room size is very small, and the interior conditions are several decades old. It says the room on the very top floor has a terrace, but actually in the room, it is not possible to see outside. It is a rooftop room where you must go out the door in order to see outside. The photo and the actual...

Just for the record the hotel is one of the oldest family hotels in Malta and has quite a long history dating back to the early 1900 s , the rooms in this hotel are all different , we never said anything about a wrong photo was put . The room booked depends on what one is paying as we...

I really don't advise this hotel. The staff is very friendly and the lobby and breakfast place have been renovated. But it was not the case of the room. Very small, with the strict minimum. A bed, a bathroom and that's all. Our agency could have made easily a better choice! Don't go !

I find it a bit odd as the clients stayed for one night and returned for another night a week later . So why come back if you did not like it ? On the first time they said they were given a small room with just a bed and a bathroom ...well I went to check and found two...

The hotel has good location, i.e. close to the central bus station and the historic sites of Valletta. You can also reach the ferry station for the three cities within five minutes (recommended). The staff of the hotel is very helpful and welcoming. They recommended me some sightseeings, that were worth visiting. The only thing that was not OK was...

Thanks for your positive comments. I would like to know the site where you booked the room so I can check about the balcony as to my knowledge I believe I have written "most rooms have a balcony "( most not all ) It depends on the room type and price that one pays. If you can send me by...

Spent an October week here with a friend. Sprang for a "deluxe" room - I think this means a higher floor and a balcony or outdoor area. Our room was clean and functional, but not attractive or especially comfortable. It had three twin beds (why?) and a very narrow bathroom. Our outdoor area (not sure what to call it) was...

Thanks for your comments. I want to answer some questions and clarify others. The reason the room has three beds is beacuse the room is a triple room ,but its not the first time that we rent it for two persons or even as a single. There are two doors to leading out to a huge terrace , or if...

I love coming to eat at the British whenever I'm in valletta. After a day of visiting the museums in Valletta, my friend and I ate at the new Panorama restaurant, which is part of the hotel. The view never ceases to impress me and the food is excellent. Lunch at this restaurant really made my day and the waiters...
