Highly recommend this hotel. Ronnie at reception is friendly and full of knowledge on what to see and do. Room was clean spacious and good size, bathroom perfect, the shower is brilliant. We were on floor 5 room 501 which has a balcony and great views over the harbour, cathedral and Sliema. Never tried breakfast as always went out to eat. It’s in a great location , easy walk to the centre.
Only downside was the size of pool, only 6 allowed round it and some people stayed there for ages in the afternoon , should be shared or given a length of time allowed at it.
Would definitely stay again

I stayed at the Osborne Hotel for 7 nights bed and breakfast board from Thursday 4th to Thursday 11th November 2021. I was in a double standard room on the 5th Floor with a street view.

The room was well furnished, bright, airy, excellent lovely ensuite bathroom, with tea and coffee making facalties as well as a fridge whch is is an exccellent bonus. This means you can buy bottle of water for your room. The air con was excellent as it was humid in November.

The Hotel is fresh, clean, bright and the waiting area by reception the hall ways, dinning room and the lounge area are all welcoming places to enjoy as guests. The Hotel was reneovated.

The Hoytel is situated in a excellent location in Valletta and its only a 5 mins walk to Rublic street the main steeet in Valletta and only 5 mins walk away from the main bus station where you can catch a bus to anywhere on the island as wel as being close to the ferry to Silema as well as the ferry to the three cities only 8 to 10 mins walk away.

The communal areas of the Hotel as well as the room are very clean and the cleanig team do an excellent job as well as the house keepimng team. The team on break fast were so friendly as were the staff on the fron desk.

Thank you so much to all the team at the Osborne Hotel for your kindness, help, support and for accomdating my request for a nice room.

We loved our stay at Osborne Hotel. The hotel was beautiful, tastefully decorated and located near the Valletta city center(a 3 minute walk). The neighborhood was quiet, stunning with very interesting buildings and it had a beautiful park nearby.
The room was very clean, the cleaning was made daily, with A/C which gave good heating during the winter(I stayed in January) and the view from my room was breathless. I could see the sea and Sliema from my window.
The room was large with a big cozy bed and had also a refrigerator and toiletries.
The breakfast was also great with plenty of options to eat and the food was very tasty.
The staff from the hotel was extremely friendly, polite and helpful and they also let us check in before the normal time. The wi-fi was great
We definitely recommend this hotel if you want a quality hotel in the center of Valletta at a very good price

Lovely weekend in Valletta staying at the Osborne, The hotel was easily located using Google maps and just a few minutes walk from the bus stops at Malta Central, You can take buses 71 72 and 73 from right outside the airport, The concierge was very welcoming and our room was clean and cozy, Although very warm on the nights, The AC all runs on the same system so there is only warm air during the winter months, We turned it off but still had the window wide open. Breakfast was nice with a good variety of all the usual expectations. Was only a weekend visit but would've loved to stay longer, Cracking pizza restaurant opposite called Sottos, Good stay

Initial first impressions superb, greeted heartily by the tremendously engaging concierge Michael.

Rapid no fuss check in and we were very happy with our spotlessly clean room and bathroom.

However we are one day away from finishing our stay, and getting increasingly annoyed at the attitude of a certain member of the hotel's reception team, who appears to take great delight in informing us "no bar". The bar itself is a lovely large room which should be teeming with guests spending money which surely is what a hotel should want yes? It was only 09.45pm and we only wanted a coffee prior to having an early night, but were abruptly informed "no bar". Absolutely ridiculous and I would love the hotel management to explain the logic of this to me.

Other points to note, the pool area is very small so getting a sun bed is not easy. It could also do with the bin getting emptied more frequently. Breakfast very good as is the location.

I have given it 3 stars but in essence it is probably more of a 2.5 rating, very sad as it has great potential.

Dear GibbionsG, We really appreciate your feedback which helps us to keep improving our service rendered in order to improve the experience for our esteemed guests during their stay with us and to rectify any short comings that we may be having. We are very glad that on the whole your experience was good and that the room was spotlessly clean and that you appreciated our decor. We do have a very dedicated staff that goes out of their way to assist our guests in the best possible way. Thank you for bringing this issue of the bar to our attention on certain occasions, an issue which we will address immediately. The company has invested heavily in refurbishing the hotel as you have noticed and rightly so mentioned and in the training of staff. You do appreciate that the hotel is housed in a 450 years old palazzo within the city centre, therefore the sizes of the pool and the pool area are what they are, however we have already addressed the issue of the frequency of the cleaning of the area and emptying of the bins situated on the roof top terrace. Hope that we have cleared your queries and please feel free to contact us if you have further queries. Kind regards, Brian Caruana General Manager

Stayed here for 10 nights.
Pleasant hotel in a good, central location.

Pros:
Great location
Good breakfast
Nice, small outdoor roof terrace (pool very small)

Cons;
Small room for two people
Really poor WiFi connection- I did not read reviews about this before I booked and I wished I had. The WiFi worked very well outside of the room and even on the roof terrace but very poor signal in the room. I’m not sure if this is due to the sensors on the door for the room card? Every time we wanted to use wifi in the room we had to go outside of our room to connect then go back in our room. This sometimes didn’t even last one minute.

On the whole a reasonable stay in an excellent location. Michael on the front desk was also very cheerful and helpful during our stay!

Thanks again

Great central location in a quiet spot but a very short walk to many bars and restaurants, as well as the historic sights of Valletta. Bus station and a well stocked grocery store very close by too.

Some lovely staff on reception, particularly Ronnie and another guy (think his name is Michael) who offered advice and tips on travel around the island. Very comfortable bed, towels changed frequently and fairly quiet (my room was front facing on fourth floor).

Minor thing: it's a shame that all of the furniture in the bedrooms wasn't wipe clean as there were some unfortunate sweat stains on the chairs and headboard 😬

We stayed at this hotel for a week, as did my elderly parents. We chose the hotel due to its central position which meant an easy and accessible walk to the busses, taxis and nearby restaurants. Although on a narrow side street it was no problem walking into the main shopping area and we were also able to book taxis door to door. The foyer of the hotel is smart and welcoming and the staff on reception were very helpful and knowledgeable about the city.
They fulfilled special requests to ensure my parents were safe and comfortable, such as finding a non slip mat for their walk in shower.
The buffet breakfast was plentiful and constantly restocked and of good quality. There was Maltese bread available every day which is a must for us.
The restaurant staff were extremely efficient at keeping the tables clean and tidy as guests left the room. They were friendly and happy to chat and answer questions about the local area. Marko in particular was so polite and friendly to my parents and always looked out for them, moving chairs for them, etc. he made time to chat before carrying on with his work. It was dad’s birthday during our stay and the staff made him feel very special.
The rooms are not huge and there is no outside area to this hotel, just a small roof terrace, but it is clean and comfortable. It’s in a quiet area with no noise at night time. The rooms are cleaned and made up every day. At the time of our visit they don’t do evening meals but there are lots of restaurants nearby. We will definitely use this hotel again.

The hotel is fine, very quiet, rooms with air con and very clean. The room has everything, including a mini fridge and a hair dryer. However, the wifi simply does not work well. When I first got there, the phone couldn’t get signal inside the room so talked to the reception and they acted like it wasn’t their problem and said I could go outside to use the wifi. Actually no, I paid to use it inside my own room. The guy wasn’t really helping and had an attitude but another lady was very nice and made me try another room. That worked and I was switched. However I still had issues in and off throughout the stay as the wifi was really unstable. They clearly need better equipment or a technician to look at it. I’m giving 4 stars as every other member of staff was nice to me, just one had the attitude.

We had a magnificent view of St John’s Co-Cathedral. The room that we stayed in (Standard) had small windows that opened so we could gaze into the amazing views of the port and cathedral. We did not notice any noise, the room was fairly small, but had everything even the pool towels which was a nice touch, breakfast selection was decent as well. Very friendly staff. Location is great, just Valetta has a lot of hills and stairs, so you should be mindful of that. I would gladly stay here again!.

Yes you can get a taxi at the airport direct to the hotel, they will give you the price beforehand, which I thought was very fair. We used the bus to get back, as bus services in Malta are frequent, excellent and cheap. The bus station is very close and easy walking from the hotel. It took about an hour to get to the airport.

Hi there, we stayed in a room on the second floor looking onto the street in front of the hotel. The room had a big enough window and wasn't too dark. Also the street is not noisy and we slept with the window open most nights. Don't know if there are any rooms with great views, but we had a great stay at the hotel and were out every day while there.

Dear Mr. MikeNZ201, The hotel does not have its own parking, however you can either park in the surrounding streets on the white parking boxes or in the free public car park, just 50 meters from the hotel, right at the end of South Street. Thank you
