The hotel is fine, very quiet, rooms with air con and very clean. The room has everything, including a mini fridge and a hair dryer. However, the wifi simply does not work well. When I first got there, the phone couldn’t get signal inside the room so talked to the reception and they acted like it wasn’t their problem and said I could go outside to use the wifi. Actually no, I paid to use it inside my own room. The guy wasn’t really helping and had an attitude but another lady was very nice and made me try another room. That worked and I was switched. However I still had issues in and off throughout the stay as the wifi was really unstable. They clearly need better equipment or a technician to look at it. I’m giving 4 stars as every other member of staff was nice to me, just one had the attitude.

This is a very good 3* value-for-money hotel in Valletta. Pros: - Location: central. Valletta is of course small, but it helps the hotel being built on the “plateau” of the old fortress - Very polite and helpful personnel - Good, varied breakfast - Kettle, safe, and mini-fridge in room (larger than a minibar, I mean) - Unbeatable price off-season: 43 EUR/ night breakfast included! - Big LED Smart TV – a fabulous plus for a 3* hotel was I could connect to Internet on the TV – YouTube and all! - Comfy, large bed - Fluffy towels Cons: - Poor coffee at breakfast - Room may have been a little larger, but it is an old building after all. I stayed solo in a double at the 5th floor and it was OK. With two people in it I am not that sure. - Wardrobes rather worn out; old hangers - Poor water pressure at the bathroom sink - Poor toiletries - Rather cramped bathroom, although the shower cubicle was large enough for a big guy like me - I could not alter the room temperature using the AC thermostat as the temperature was set by the management and could not be changed. Problem was it was set at 28 degrees Celsius, which made the room impossible to sleep in after 30 min of operation. I complained to the reception, they promised to fix it, did nothing, so I resorted to sleeping with the AC/ heating off, which was not really an issue given the warm Maltese nights. But that procedure is not OK, and management should allow clients to set their own desired temperature in room.

Lovely weekend in Valletta staying at the Osborne, The hotel was easily located using Google maps and just a few minutes walk from the bus stops at Malta Central, You can take buses 71 72 and 73 from right outside the airport, The concierge was very welcoming and our room was clean and cozy, Although very warm on the nights, The AC all runs on the same system so there is only warm air during the winter months, We turned it off but still had the window wide open. Breakfast was nice with a good variety of all the usual expectations. Was only a weekend visit but would've loved to stay longer, Cracking pizza restaurant opposite called Sottos, Good stay

Every aspect of our stay here was faultless. The room on the 4th level was very comfortable and quiet. The breakfast choice was very good and open until 10 am ,which is lovely when on holiday. Our return flight was extremely early but the Hotel booked a taxi for us which was there before the 5 am requested time. To top it all,the kitchen had prepared a "breakfast / lunch " box for us both to take to the airport. Would definitely use again.
