Small family run hotel. Very clean, every bedroom different. My room was a good sized double with effective air-conditioning (needed in August and September). Small swimming pool on the roof terrace. Five minutes walk to the main street and the bus station. The staff were very warm and welcoming (especially Marthese) and nothing was too much trouble. I would readily recommend this hotel to family and friends. My top tip - use the public bus to get around Malta, 2 Euros each way gets you anywhere in Malta. All the buses are frequent and modern with air conditioning and notification of the next stop. Much better than the hop on hop off
Had a lovely stay in this hotel at start of November. Staff were friendly. Michael deserves a mention for being particularly accomodating, warm and friendly. The breakfast was lovely. Will definitely return.
A very good location to get to the Silema ferry (steep walk,) Barrakka lift, the main drag for bars and restaurants and the bus station. We had a fantastic sea view from our lovely room on the top floor (floor 6.) Breakfasts were excellent and staff friendly and helpful. Take the Barrakka lift down and get a gondola across to The Three Cities - much quieter than Valetta with interesting things to see and places to visit.
Great central location in a quiet spot but a very short walk to many bars and restaurants, as well as the historic sights of Valletta. Bus station and a well stocked grocery store very close by too. Some lovely staff on reception, particularly Ronnie and another guy (think his name is Michael) who offered advice and tips on travel around the island. Very comfortable bed, towels changed frequently and fairly quiet (my room was front facing on fourth floor). Minor thing: it's a shame that all of the furniture in the bedrooms wasn't wipe clean as there were some unfortunate sweat stains on the chairs and headboard 😬
Excellent location in centre of Valleta. Staff very friendly and eager to help with any questions. Breakfast just what we needed and very affordable. We will be staying here again in the future for sure.
The building was renovated, the rooms were all clean and tidy, they gave us new towels every day, good breakfast, the AC was blowing cold air, nice cozy pool on the roof! The staff was really nice and funny, they answered all of our questions to their best knowledge. Especially thank you Michael, the recepetionist, he has made every day funny for us at the hotel!
The hotel is ok! Close to main attraction, a Lots of restaurants and bara nearby! The hotel is renovated, you can see this! The rooms are clean but in three days they didn’t change the sheets! Mini bar was empty! Room very small, the pool from terrace is very small
My eight trip to Malta and the second time that I've stayed in an hotel in Valletta. So, the Osborne Hotel? Well located on South Street and within easy walking distance of the main bus station, Sliema Ferry and Central Valletta. I stayed room-only so can't comment of the quality of the food, e.g. breakfast/lunch/dinner. From what I saw, the restaurant was well booked for lunch and there seemed to be several guests at breakfast. My room was advertised as a 'Deluxe, Sea-view' and was on the 3rd floor. Great view of Tigne Point and parts of Valletta, albeit from the bathroom window. The main room window didn't offer such a great view. Room was a good size as was the bathroom. Tea/Coffee making facilities and mini fridge. On the down side, the gym left a great deal to be desired. The Hotel website has photo's of the gym and it seemed to be a good size. It's surprising what effect mirrors have on the final product!! The air-conditioning was quite noisy and I would suggest that this could be a problem for guest staying in August & September. Wi-Fi is available to guests but reception in rooms is a bit hit-and-miss. The roof terrace has a small pool, sun loungers and tables. Staff were helpful so no issues there. On the whole, I enjoyed my stay and would re-book again.…
This hotel is just perfectly placed in the center of the city with an amazing view. The staff is so nice and special thanks for Saviour at the reception who was very kind and helpful at any moment. Will surely come back here !
Very clean comfortable hotel in an excellent location. Small room but everything you need - free Wi-Fi, safe, fridge, kettle. All toiletries and tea/coffee facilities replenished daily. Provide powdered milk but easy to buy real milk from Wembley Store at top of the road. Lovely hot shower and quiet air con. Can’t comment on restaurant as only seemed to be open if you booked. Didn’t use pool area.
