I stayed 4 nights at Castille with my husband during my birthday weekend. Everyday when we left the hotel in the morning, a very friendly receptionist wished us a good day with a big smile. He also gave us tips and made himself available each time we needed to ask something. On my birthday, he gave us a small bottle of Maltese wine with 2 glasses and said it was a gift from the hotel for my birthday. Small touches that makes the difference. Besides that, the location is great and the building is truly beautiful. The only remark is that even with the window closed we heard a lot of noise from the street at night (there's a bar with karaoke just below the hotel) and it was a bit hard to sleep. Bring some earplugs and enjoy a great stay. :-)

The hotel was at a very good location close to city city walls, bus station , restaurants and cafes short walk to valletta sea front where you can take a ferry to sliema sea front and all the other island tours and excursions.room was good size, basic but clean daily clean and towels which was great .breakfast served at the top restaurant overlooking the grand harbour which includes cereals breads sausage and bacon scramble eggs fruit etc.coffee machine with different choices ..stayed there 4 nights and there was different choices eggs daily hash brown on friday ..I have seen better breakfast and worst but this was quite adequate.. staff were great very helpful and always willing to help.Only thing was no tea coffee making facilities but I brought my own travel kettle suited me fine. The only thing I didn't like noise coming from outside the harbour but couldn't figure it out what it was but definitely it wasn't the club at the ground level.all in all its not a bad hotel I will stay here again and fully recommended .

We had a very positive stay in this hotel located in the town center. Very quiet at night and full of life during the day. Both breakfast and room were ideal for one week stay. The hotel is located at about 5' walk from the main bus station, and just next door to the Upper Barraka Gardens. The breakfast starts at 7H30 in the 5th floor and the view is just magnificent.

I have just been for a week holiday to Malta and stayed at Castille Hotel. It is a three star hotel. I feel at home every time I stay here, as the staff make you so very welcome. Whatever you need they will do their very best to provide. The restaurant on the top floor offers wonderful views all round. The hotel is a short walk from Upper Barrakka, a delightful garden with amazing views. From the hotel you are literally two minute walk from the centre. There is so much going on late into the evening in Valletta, that you cannot possibly be bored. Another advantage in staying at the hotel is that the buses are about five minute walk away. All the staff at the hotel always welcome you with a smile and a friendly chat. I liaise with Mark purely because he happened to be the first person i dealt with. All the staff are equally welcoming.
