A beautiful 16th Century Palace in the heart of Valletta that was built Don Pietro La Rocca, a Knight of Malta and now the ancestral home of the 9th Marquis de Piro and his family. Most of the palazzo is used as a private museum and is a popular tourist attraction but 5 bedrooms have been restored to provide accommodation for the discerning traveller to Valletta looking for something original.

I had a wonderful peaceful 2 week stay in the Pineapple Room. Beautiful Room , choice of mattress ( I had a soft one) , luxury bathroom, great breakfast. I highly recommend a stay here. The garden courtyard was shady even in the hot weather.

Property's Favorite Review
How utterly wonderful to have a room in a rococo palace to ourselves, to share the garden with Kiku the Maccaw, to meet the baron and baroness, to eat a delicious breakfast in the sun, and to be right in the heart of Valetta, surely the most attractive and interesting of Malta's towns. It felt like we were honoured guests. Why would you ever want to stay anywhere else?

We stayed at Casa Rocca Piccola in March this year and I have to say it was the nicest place we have ever stayed. The room was vast and felt more like waking up in Buckingham Palace than anything else. Surrounded with art and history you needn't walk outside. The tour of the museum/palace is essential and gives you the broadest outlook on the rest of Malta and Gozo itself. The location was perfect and you are only ever a few minutes walk from all the major sites on Valetta and the boats and ferries to the Three Cities and Sliema. You can connect the dots back to the Casa wherever you go, just ask your host for a story of how it fits in with the families history. Thanks for a wonderful stay. Jim and Fran

beautiful Palazzo in the heart of Valletta. Comfortable and well renovated. Unique place to breath the history of the old town. Only a few rooms - make you feel at home. Would definetely come back and enjoy the other rooms.

The hotel is very centrally located at Valetta close to everything within walking distance but still at a quiet part of the city. Very beaitifuly decorated rooms. Their breakfast also was such a pleasure. Clement and his wife were first class hosts. We also enjoiyed the tour at the House which worths visiting. Would definetely return at Casa if again at Malta.
