There is no doubt that you can't escape from the Bells of the Co-Cathedral nearby but after a while you do stop hearing them. This is a charmingly renovated building with individual quirky rooms. The reception is simply the cashier's point in the restaurant underneath and if you want to get a feel of the history of Valetta, this is...

The hotel is OK - it's in a beautiful old building which has been sympathetically renovated and the facilities are good. The location, we thought, would be perfect, right opposite St John's Co-Cathedral. How wrong could we be! The Cathedral bells are rung every 15 minutes or so, throughout the night. There's no double glazing, and our room was facing...

we arrived in the evening and had a delicious dinner at the hotel's own restaurant which is also the hotel reception before a nice lady brought us to our room. we had a spaceous, clean twin room. Towels were changed daily and the room was always nice and clean. As the hotel is centrally located in a pedestrian area next...

As soon as you walk in you will realize that this is not a normal hotel. beautifully decorated, clean room. We had an amazing view over the square and cathedral. Very central, in fact you will be right in the city center as soon as you step out the door. Bus terminus is located 5 minute walk away. The staff...

Reception was in a very busy restaurant; staff only had time to take our money and give us a key. Not at all welcoming or friendly. Impossible to ask questions. Room had only one small window about 1 foot hight and 3 wide; no fresh air and little light. Television only had about 6 local language stations; the remainder, including...

Not the full story, so here is the flavour. We booked what turned out to be Room 33, over looking the Co-Cathedral. Before I'd put my cases down I was asked if I was playing there and then; no, I'll visit the Bank in the morning was my reply. Shown to the room, with it's tight & steep spiral staircase....

this hotel is brilliant. Look away if you want bland, boring and dull accommodation. Luciano is quirky, comfortable, interesting and a joy to stay in. The location is second to none, with everywhere in Valletta easily accessible. It is like, other have mentioned, next to St Johns, and yes the bells ring every 15 minutes. Our first night, it did...

This hotel is in a brilliant location, right in the centre of Valletta. But it is right next to St Johns Cathedral and the bells ring every 15 minutes. So if you are a light sleeper you may be glad of earplugs. But the hotel is worth it. The staff were very friendly and helpful and we immediately felt at...

We really liked the hotel but still had a kind of a strange feeling staying there. The greatest thing about this place is its location. The hotels is situated right in the middle of the old part of Valletta, in a car free zone, next to St. John's cathedral. We had a very nice room with a view over the...

Stayed 7 nights in room 32, a large double-storey suite with his/hers bathroom, four poster and two singles upstairs (thought it was a double!). Our last night was to have been in a smaller room, but they pulled out all the stops to make sure we completed our stay in the same room (at the price of the smaller room)...
