Wow !! how’s that for a start, looked amazing online, even better in real life, we had room 804 on the 8th floor with a view across the harbour, just fantastic, the room is spacious and the bed must be 8ft wide, so plenty of room to spread out, the Aircon was good, you set it to your desired temp, we found setting the temperature to 22’ at night kept the room temperature just nice, the room was cleaned every day if needed and the room staff are very meticulous in what they do, breakfast was in our stay and included a choice of continental or full English, lots of choice from sausages to pancakes, my only gripe re breakfast is it’s the only hotel I’ve stayed at where the staff do not come over and ask if you would like tea or coffee, you have to go over to the counter and ask for pots of water and milk, but like I said that’s the only gripe I had about staying here. The hotel is in an ideal place in the harbour, with restaurants both south and north of the hotel but most food places are north, plenty of choices good wise too, the hotel restaurant is situated on the left as you enter the main doors and again the food was fantastic, spare ribs will defeat anyone I guarantee, they huge!!, plenty of choice on the menus too. We stayed here for 2weeks and we looking at coming back to this hotel as soon as we can, best hotel on the strip, nicest to look at and best places for all amenities I.ferry/boat trips etc, highly recommended 5 stars from me.

I would definitely recommend this hotel, it was in an ideal position, the staff were very friendly and the facilities really good. You have the use of the in hotel pool or the outdoor pool at a venue opposite the hotel. The only thing that let the hotel down I felt was the organisation for breakfast. I m not sure if the way things were done was down to Covid. The breakfast I believe was supposed to be self service, however, all the waiters would stand behind each of the food and drinks bars and actually serve you the food. This created a lot of queues due to the number of people, I almost witnessed a collision between people taking there food back to their tables etc. People, myself included, were getting a bit annoyed at having to queue for things like a glass of juice etc. Other than that though, I think the hotel was lovely. Highly recommend the massage place in the hotel, the guys were amazing.

Yet again, an excellent stay. Everybody so pleasant and friendly. Always helpful to me, disabled. Special thanks this time to Rita, the Housekeeper, who helped me out with a clothes problem. Room with disable-equipped bathroom. Excellent menu in the Lobby Restaurant, much improved over last year. Made personal friends with some people now. Very suitable for a solo traveller. Met some nice people visiting, first-timers, and repeats like me. Very friendly atmosphere.

Stayed at the Waterfront for 4 nights. Really enjoyed our stay, the hotel is in a good location. I would recommend taking the ferry to Valletta which is lovely and only 2.80 euro return. We were half board, which I wouldn't recommend as not many people used the dining room in the evening so it lacked atmosphere and the food was a bit bland and over cooked. Breakfast was really good and you can't fault the staff serving. The harbour cruise is worthwhile but I'd tend to avoid using Luzzu. We were told to be on the boat 15 mins before departure but had to wait 55 minutes before they set sail. No apology and they had the cheek to ask for a tip. The only tip I would give them is to depart on time! To be fair, the actual trip was fine and informative but they were clearly trying to fill up the boat! Got to give a massive shout out to staff on reception who were so helpful and on our last day, Jet2 let us down and a lovely guy on reception arranged for a lift to the airport.
