Very nice place in the centre of the city. Personnel was really kind and helpful. Variety of delicious food for breakfast. Rooms were kept clean and towels were changed every day. Would definitely visit again.

I stayed at the Imperial for about a week. The hotel is located about four blocks from the main road fronting the sea. The pictures used in their web site were taken by a very good and creative photographer - discount them by 70%.They charge for EVERYTHING (eg 14 Maltese cents for a very basic tourist map given away at... This is a student accommodation for students who come to learn English in Malta. Education First uses the premises to host the students. Super noisy. If u want a relaxing holiday this is not the place for you. The management of the hotel should state that in their website. Students sleep in 4 or 6 in twin rooms!

Dear Mr. M, Thank you very much for finding time to share your comments only a few hours after leaving. Who the hotel accepts to accommodate is surely not your prerogative and one would have expected more honesty before putting pen to paper (!!). You are totally untrue and incorrect to state that 6 younger aged clients (some only 10... More

We arrived at the Imperial Hotel impressed by the boutique style foyer and front desk. Desk staff at first seemed not so pleased to see us. Rather stern looks. Must emphasise not all front desk staff were like this. Some were very pleasant and welcoming. The room (pool view) was very basic. Set up as a twin when we'd asked... More

I am exhausted having returned from a weekend break to the Imperial Hotel. Had I known the hotel is used as residence for a number of English Language schools I definitely would not have stayed. Students were constantly congregating in corridors talking (and shouting) loudly, banging on each other's doors, dominated the swimming pool and disrespected communal areas by putting... More

I have known this lovely hotel since I was a boy now I am nearly 60. I have lost count how many times my wife and I have stayed there. I have now found out why the owners have refused to invest in the place. A notice for partial demolition and conversion into an old folks home has appeared on... More

Very old hotel, which has undergone little renovation. Almost nonexistent soundproofing. There was an unpleasant smell in the hallways and rooms. The breakfast was just adequate. A great location with car parking possibility.

The hotel that we booked originally was overbooked and we did not have the choice to choose, we were transferred here. We slept here 4 nights. Our room was nice and clean but there was no wifi in the room, only in front of it on the corridor. Unfortunately the breakfast was boring and had cheap quality. In the restaurant... More

Just returned from two weeks at the Imperial, This is our 5th holiday staying there. This year as in previous years there have been students staying at the hotel ( about 200) and I have to say they were well managed and not a disturbance at all. The students are in the hotel for breakfast , then they are out... More
