Just arrived for 2 days, gets here and we have a courtyard cooker and fridge, bath kettle a/c the lot. We also get a full cooked breakfast buffet. Cold meats ,cheese , salad, cereals and coffee and juices .Happy days. So impressed we booked another night and stay till Monday as I am off work. We were supposed to stay at another hotel in October for a couple of days but cancelled it and booked the plaza instead. Has a rooftop pool and views from the front of the hotel are beautiful, we have a budget room at the rear but more than happy with it. Staff are friendly and very helpful.
Booked Plaza Regency for a night but ended up staying a total of 4 nights due to its close proximity to all the touristic destinations. Ferry rides to Gozo and Comino is easily accessible from the hotel. The hotel has a roof top swimming pool, extensive breakfast options including full English breakfast. The staff is very knowledgeable especially Jacqueline whose advise helped us to plan our holidays better. Milos in the night Shift is a very friendly staff and fun to speak. Milos helped with all the small things with a big smile that we needed during our stay. We would definitely come back and recommend friends and family to stay when in Malta.
The hotel is great but could be excellent with some issues sorting. These issues are probably because of Covid and the restrictions. Hotel is clean and tidy and modern, rooms are clean, modern and air conditioning is great. Some have balconies some don’t, there was a cupboard for a fridge but wasn’t in our room, wasn’t advertised to have one so can’t complain. Great location and the views from the pool were perfect. The hotel serves a good breakfast, gets busy about 9:30 so if you don’t want to hit the rush go before. Improvements could be made to the pool area, plants aren’t being watered and a number of pots have been lined up and emptied because the plants have died, but doesn’t look the best all sat in a row. Note: the Pool bar isn’t open which is probably due to Covid but not 100% sure. It would be great if it opens again and tables set out because the views it has are second to none of the resort and paceville. Small supermarket turn left out of the reception and 2nd road you come past it’s 100yards up the small bank. Ill go back as it’s a great hotel.…
Let's start with good things - good location and great view. Rooms clean (but oldish). Comfy beds. Friendly staff. That would be it. Worse part - poor breakfast. Every single day was the same. Poor choice. I was really disapointed that they served canned fruits (in the sunny country, full of fresh and delicious fruits and vegetables). For the whole week, I've been there twice. Totally not worth any money. No fridge in the room. As we had only breakfast (as I mentioned - bad ones), we couldn't even buy anything to prepare food by ourselves because of the lack of the fridge. Room wasn't soundproof at all. We could hear absolutely everything what was going on in the corridor, people walking, talking... and the cleaners shouting early in the morning. Also, on the 5th floor we could hear chairs moving (and probably tables as well) from the 6th floor (restaurant). Again, in the mornings (from 7.30am) and in the evenings. Nice swimming pool on the roof - but open only till 6 p.m. We had small chances to use it after all day of sightseeing. 7 floors and only one working lift. Because of covid, there could be only people from the same party in the lift, so it made us waiting for a long time to get to our room. To sum up - really average hotel in a good location.…
The hotel was very helpful with reorganizing our diving group holidays after new quarantine rules introduction in the UK. The communication was effective and nothing was too much of a problem. They even managed to upgrade some of our rooms. 5* customer service to Sylvana in reservation department.
