Such a wonderful find. A warm reception, fabulous 5 course meal, and amazing breakfast. Would recommend 100%. The room was in a converted barn. Spotlessly clean. Beautiful gardens to wander around. Will definitely stop here again on our travels around France.

Booked this chambre d'hote as stop off on way to portugal. Room was fantastic in converted barn with huge en suite. Very peaceful set in 10 acres of grounds. Hosts were extremely friendly and helpful. Even booked restaurant for us in nearest town - again another hit. Breakfast excellent and gave opportunity to meet other guests.

We spent three nights here and I really cannot fault the place. It is very easy to find and about two and a half hours drive from Calais, mostly on motorway. Our room was spacious and spotless, and the location is peacefull and tranquil so easy to get a good night's sleep. We opted to have an evening meal, which... More

We stayed in one of the four wooden caravans, fitted with all mod cons. The caravan was cozy and very cleverly fitted. Very warm welcome, 20 acres of apples, and wonderful meals. The owners have made this place a work of art. Don't miss the apple bread at breakfast!

Stayed in Jonagold (there is an apple theme throughout - the owners have planted thousands of trees in the extensive grounds) with two good sized bedrooms and a nice bathroom. Well designed, clean and very comfortable. Fascinating walk around the grounds looking at the huge variety of apple trees but the highlight was the dinner threaded through with appley wonderfulness.... More

Wonderful hosts who made our party of 6 feel very welcome and gave us a great dinner with home-made touches like cider dressing, calvados and apple sorbet. They've been very clever with keeping a family-feel and giving everyone who stays plenty of privacy. It's modern French décor and we'll try the gypsy caravans next time we stay. The playground in... Whilst this is a B&B with 5 rooms, we stayed as a family in 2 of the Gypsy caravans last Saturday night whilst on our way home from the SW of France to the NE of England. Jean-Francois and Sabine, the owners, have built the whole place up over the last few years into a haven of tranquility and trees.... More

This really is a beautiful place to stay. Surrounded by 10 acres of lovely gardens and wooded areas dating back to the XIXème siècle, this property offers you a peaceful setting and an opportunity to chill out! Within the grounds there are several charming Romany caravans set out in their own small private surroundings. Alternatively, you can stay in the... More

Just spent two nights with family... I mean extended in-laws family... We were 14! Really nice place to stay, nice owners and clean, nice and well finished rooms with en suite! We enjoyed the stay. I did not rate the maximum just for one reason, no option to get eggs, ham, bacon or even cheese for breakfast... I know that... More

We stayed at Le Clos du Quesnay on our way to Normandy from Germany, and on our way back to Germany from Normandy. So two nights total. The property is quite extraordinary to say the least. There are four gypsy sleeper wagons and five or so regular rooms in the main building. We stayed in the red gypsy wagon. Each... More
