Detailed Reviews
The Boutique Hotel is perfectly located in the capital city Victoria, home of the Cittadella. Standing just besides Villa Rundle Gardens and overlying one of Gozo's main shopping centres this luxuriously finished hotel was a very pleasant surprise. Finished to impeccable high standards we stayed in one of the terrace rooms with our private jacuzzi tub. Attention to the finest detail is evident throughout the hotel. The hotel directors Sharon and Jason together with all their staff are courteous and helpful and their attention to safety and cleanliness through the current pandemic circumstances makes you feel at ease throughout the hotel and during their mouth watering breakfast. We will certainly be back again and again.

Our stay here was a wonderful night on Gozo. The staff, our room, and breakfast were all excellent, would recommend staying here to anyone visiting the island as it is very conveniently located to all parts of the island. Parking was conviently located and the property was very easy to find.

We had a hot tub room for me and my two teenagers. The manager was incredibly helpful via email and phone in changing my room reservations and accommodating a third person in one room with three separate beds. The rollaway was very comfortable, and the bed was a legit king sized that they split into two twins for us. Everything was clean and worked. Hotel is situated in a mall with reasonable clothing (when your luggage decides to wait a few days to arrive) and a grocery store where we often purchased dinner. Breakfast was lovely- several course meal and not rushed with full service from incredibly nice people.
It looks on the map like it's a bad location for travel because it's in the middle of the island, but it's actually perfect. The bus hub for the whole island is 3 blocks away. From there, there are buses that go to all the shore attractions. The bus was easy to use, and the hotel was very accommodating when I called them to set up transportation from the airport for me when we first arrived (for cheaper than I could have set it up for myself). The airport is on the other island, and the manager arranged a taxi to the ferry, to another taxi to the hotel when we arrived. Nice feature after 17 hours of travel!
There is basically no laundry service on the entire island except a personal business about a kilometer away from the hotel- dropped off and picked up the next day.
There are a billion restaurants within walking distance to the hotel, and the citadel which is pretty at night to walk to to see the stars. If I return to Gozo, I would definitely stay there again without even considering other options.

Staying at the Duke's in Covid times was a very good decision because the hotel caters for everything to avoid transmission. There is impeccable cleanliness and all efforts are made to put one's mind at rest. Staff are incredibly friendly and helpful and nothing is too much effort. This is certainly a place I will return to and one I will highly recommend.

This is probably the 5th or 6th time we've stayed at the Duke boutique hotel. We were their first guests when it opened in 2017 and it has been our go to hotel in Gozo ever since.
The location is excellent, Gozo is small so it's easy to drive around the various sights, and the Duke is very central in Victoria. Victoria also has sights, walks, cafes and restaurants of it's own so it's really easy to enjoy the area around the hotel
Rooms are spacious, modern, super comfortable and kept impeccably clean. Staff is super helpful and every aspect of staying here is so easy - my mind literally switches into relax mode when I walk in the door
Make sure you leave space/time for breakfast. There is a feast of super fresh, seasonal local food and sweets together with the usual eggs/toast
I cannot recommend this hotel enough, they've always exceeded our expectations

We visited the Duke Boutique in October as part of a trip to mainland Malta and Gozo. From the minute we arrived in the hotel, we were treated so well and the hotel was amazing! We originally booked a classic room but upgraded to a superior room then the presidential suite for 2 nights. It did not disappoint!! The room is beautiful-all high specs as you would expect, a large plunge pool on the already huge balcony and with the most incredible view up to the Citadel and across to the coast on a clear day. The breakfast was delicious too, catering for all diets as the chef was kind enough to make gluten free pancakes for me. We would 100% recommend this hotel and can’t wait to visit again soon! Thank you for making our visit to Malta so special!

A romantic getaway weekend, we decided to stay here in one of their Deluxe Rooms with a hot tub jacuzzi in the balcony, and it was everything and more that we were after for a relaxing weekend. Breakfast in the morning had great variety for vegetarians and meat eaters, everyone is very attentive and friendly. Location it is central to main Gozo and right next to Victoria Bus Station which can take you everywhere in the island or to the ferry. Rooms were kept to a great standard and cleaned daily, as was the Hot Tub. Cannot find a fault. If returning to Malta/Gozo, wouldn't think twice about returning to this hotel.

I stayed in this hotel in September 2019 (and the previous year). On both occasions, the hotel has been excellent in both service and facilities. The room was always kept tidy, the breakfast options were always varied and good, and the location perfectly situated in the centre of Victoria.
If you hire a car, there is a free public car park at the rear of the property which I have never had any issues with, and a cafe/ restaurant on the lower floor of the shopping mall.
I stayed in the room with the garden view, and although the road can be busy outside, even on the balcony it is very peaceful.
I have to give credit to the management who went out of their way on my last view to accommodate me, even though the hotel was shown as being full on Trip Advisor. They responded very quickly to my enquiry and were very helpful.
As a solo traveller, I found the hotel to be perfect for what I need. Hopefully, I can get back again this year.

We have recently returned from a four night stay here. I booked the hotel on the basis of the very positive reviews here, but I doubted that any hotel could be that good.
But it was and more. It exceeded our expectations. I cannot fault a single aspect of it, and the rooms, amenities and staff were all just wonderful. I can’t thank them enough for such an amazing stay.
We stayed in the presidential and a junior suite. They couldn’t have been any more luxurious (and I am very fussy!). The bedding and towels and other items were top quality, and the swimming pool on the bigger room’s balcony was a great size.
The view of the citadel was stunning, and we had dinner seated on the balcony. It was an incredible experience.
The hotel is centrally located, convenient for everything, but still very peaceful.
Thank you so much - we couldn’t recommend the hotel any more. Nothing is too much trouble for the staff.
The only downside was that we didn’t want to leave the hotel for sightseeing!
We will certainly be tempted to stay again.

Although we could only manage a short stay this time, it will certainly be followed by many others. We particularly appreciated the cleanliness and the attention to detail in the room, testifying the effort put in by the staff to ensure a very pleasant stay. This same effort went into the great breakfast ensuring the best start to the day spent exploring some of the many quant and charming locations of this marvellous island.

Good afternoon
Yes, rooms are heated. They are individually controlled.
The rooms are on the building's 4th and 5th floor, and the insulation is excellent. The only rooms we have on Republic Street are The Junior Suite, The Spa Room, and the Presidential Suite, All other rooms do not face the main road. Even though all the rooms are quite

Good Morning, Thank you for your message. All our rooms are set up with either a king-size bed (2m X 2m) or 2 Twin Beds (1m X 2m) (except the Presidential Suite and the Junior suite which is only set up with a king-size bed). If 4 persons share a room, we will use a sofa bed or folding bed. We do not recommend these types of beds for adults. We do have interconnecting rooms for your comfort. At your disposal
Regards
Jason
I didn’t think they offered free parking the parking is accessed by going past the hotel on your left, then go next left and left again and access to the underground car park is accessed at the back.
We have a blue badge and there is a blue badge bay up the hill a little on the opposite side and we left the car there and it was fine. It’s a great hotel and fab location too
Bus every half hour to Marsalforn. 10 mins
Thank you for your message. Yes we have 2 lifts, one of which is reserved for our guests. It is very easy to get around with the buses in Gozo,.. The main bus terminal is only 150 meters away from the hotel. We also have 2 strategic bus stops only 20 meters away from the hotel making it extremely easy to visit any location.
We have 5 different room types. The standard rooms do not have a balcony or a view. The Garden Rooms have a balcony overlooking the Villa Rundle Gardens, the Jacuzzi terrace rooms which have a private Jacuzzi tub on their terrace, the Junior Suites which aslo have a larger Jacuzzi and a larger terrace and room. The Presidential suite has its own private terrace and heated pool.
