We had a great quiz night in this lovely historic hotel/inn. Tim the manager was very professional and accommodating and John the chef laid on a sumptuous buffet which accompanied by a super quiz from Andy led to a super evening in their nice function room out the back. We had over 60 people comfortably seated for a great night...

Stayed here because a colleague's band was playing in their back room. Room was OK. Good view over the Square. Poorly decorated with a hole in the wall but clean. The room was above the bar and I went to see a rock covers band so I was not going there expecting an early, quiet night. Unfortunately piped music from...

Although the Bugle may have rooms and call itself a hotel, to say it has a restaurant is somewhat of an overstatement. This is no more that a small section of the bar. Service was chaotic, the food was below average pub grub, and the staff struggled to produce an accurate bill at the end. The gammon was thin and...

Look - sadly the welcome was non existent. One young lad tried to be professional but is clearly surrounded by staff who really have no clue about hospitality and service. We were locked in until 8.45 am when a fellow guest let me out. In all fairness they did ask what time I was checking out and I said about...

We stayed here for one night for a wedding in Titchfield, great little pub with lots of character. The staff had our room ready early so we were able to go straight up and get changed which was much appreciated. Room 7 was pretty big, comfy bed- didn't use the shower so can't comment on that. Had breakfast the next...

Very very upset, booked this hotel on booking.com . Cancelled 4 days before we were due to stay at this hotel, via the booking site, Booking.Com. A lovely lady from Booking.Com phoned me to explain, the hotel wants to charge me £79 for the privilege of cancelling the booking. The hotels excuse its a very busy weekend - there are...

Absolutely charming and quaint 17th century hotel cum pub in the square at the heart of historic Titchfield village. England at its best! Good selection of real ales, lagers and ciders. We were made to feel really welcome-in fact by the end of our 3 day stay we practically had the status of locals! Food was superb and the chef...

This is a lovely Quirky little place. It's a bit of a pub, a bit of a restaurant and a bit of a hotel. The pub is nice and comfy with a warm welcoming nature with a fireplace and miss matched chairs and wooden beams in the ceilings. The restaurant takes half the pub area and the walls are covered...

Appalling place to stay, we had room number 3 for one night, no sleep as loud music until 3 am bed uncomfortable, whole place needs updating, we had dinner here which was just ok, the manager spent more time the wrong side of the bar. We complained in the morning to the only available person which was the chef also...
