A lovely place to stay, haven't tried the food but if the menu is anything to go by then I am sure it will be very good. The bar is very welcoming as is the service so would recommend you give it a try

A quaint pub / hotel with lots of character and charm. Rooms were reasonably priced and had all the tea / coffee marking implements. The bed was comfortable and it was fairly quiet for a Friday night. The staff were very helpful and polite. We would stay there again if in the area. There was good off road parking. All... More

The Bugle Hotel is the focal point of Titchfield Square. Externally and the bar restaurant exude the typical English Inn. It has had a chequered history and the current staff are working to make it a success. They intend to focus on fresh fish dishes whilst still offering typical bar meals at cheaper prices. My meal was fish cakes, chips,... More

Staff are real pleasant and can't do enough to help you but rooms are a bit basil faulty, shower in room you couldn't spin a cat, never again would I step foot in this hotel. Upon leaving you are asked to leave your key in a bucket on top of stairs for cleaner to know room is empty, key on... More

Having just read a review of room 7 from February - things have not been addressed! The side-light is STILL broken, and positively dangerous, the shower STILL floods the bathroom floor and you still have to sign a disclosure about the steps in the room! In addition to this, the (HEAVY) double-bed is pushed against the wall making it impossible... More

My feedback after a short stay. Good bits - certainly best value in the area compared to nearby Premier Inn and Holiday Inn at £80 per night B&B for an en-suite room. Character 400-year old building in village centre all a bit quaint, quirky and in places queer. Ample parking at rear and free wifi. Bad bits - the room... More

We stayed on Friday and Saturday night and had only chosen to stay because the holiday inn we had stayed in previously was full. The staff were friendly when we arrived and shows us to our room. We had asked for a double bed but there was also 2 single beads crammed into the room. I guess if you were... More

A large group of us went for dinner here on the spur of the moment. There were 10 of us and we had a really good meal. The quality of the food was very good and the service was brilliant. I was surprised were able to sit 10 people on a Friday evening without booking but it seems the new... More

I checked into room 1 ('the best room in the hotel') on the night of 15/4/16. Couldn't believe the noise and bad language, which I could hear very clearly as I was right over the bar. Not a problem though as I assumed it would stop at closing time. What IS closing time? At 1.30 am it finally became a... More

We felt that the rate charged for a family room for 3 was spot-on. It's not state of the art...but we wouldn't want an old coaching inn to be like that. The beds were very comfortable; the staff were lovely and the food was excellent.
