Very nice and clean hotel, you have all you need Friendly staff No Soundproof windows (( On the picture is the view from room number 1114, it was on the road side and at night it was annoying because of the cars
This was such a dissapointment. Filthy rooms, bad location and unhelpful staff. First impressions: * bugs coming out of the AC * shower sticky with filth and blocked * bed looked like it was slept in (and you could feel the springs when laying down) * cobwebs everywhere * smoke alarm disconnected (no battery) * rundown interior from the 80s * bad food * terrible location On the evening we arrived we booked a new hotel to get away as soon as we could. When we complained to reception they told us they would clean our rooms and put us in a different room the next day if one became available. They cleaned our rooms, but it didn’t make much difference when the shower door fell off, we were stranden in the middle of nowhere and we were standing in dirty water in the blocked shower. Wouldn’t recommend «local beach» either as this was quite dirty and a long walk from the hotel by the busy roadside. When we checked out the management was confeontational and did not appologise and we were never offered a new room or compensation. Stay away if you can. …
The room was on par with what you would expect from a 3 star hotel. Empty bottles and glasses left on the balcony all week. The restaurant area was stuck in the 70s and the food was one dimensional. There was no fruit on offer at any sitting. Staff were great but lacked direction. When the pool bar closed after the first no one thought that it would a good idea to ask so it was left to punters to go upstairs to the restaurant area. No that I was overly bothered on a day to day prospective but the WiFi was pants. It only worked the closer you go to the reception and you stood no chance if you were in your room more than 20m away. For a hotel that has a very high occupancy from the EU and UK only one member of staff on reception spoke reasonable English. It just made it hard to get things sort when you had a problem. Having said all that, the pool was clean. Sun loungers needed cleaning as they harbour cobwebs. I would go back but I wouldn’t pay full board as there are plenty of place’s to eat close by. And I would only go there low season as there wasn’t many people around. Max 10 around the pool on a good day, so no need to put towels out at stupid o’clock. If it is just a room you want go for it but if it is an experience try somewhere else …
After my arrival, I was quite impressed by the beautiful view from the poolside, and the hotel lounge and rooms were really comfortable and spacious, so that's a big plus. But then I had a chance to taste breakfast and dinner (I chose BB option) and it was very basic, the meals were almost the same during my stay. The hotel staff is very friendly, but I encountered some problems in my room: TV was not working, sometimes there were some problems with water.
Staying with family in Paphos so booked somewhere for bed and breakfast with intent of having a chill for a few days on the northern side, using the hotel as a base to go to beach, bars, etc. Arrived and a snappy lady quickly put us off at reception...nice chap helped with cases and took us to our room. Within seconds of him leaving the A/C cut out- no way to adjust the temperature. A quick look through the room established... A/C not appearing to function correctly Ants in the room Spiders, spiders, spiders.... Loose wall socket Non functioning looks on patio doors Filthy windows Rusty fridge 1980’s tv One settee bed, one put up bed (prison style!?) Shower with mould and filth and broken shower controls Dirty floors Cobwebs...lots Quite damp smelling Poo on the tissue bin Cig burns on the chairs and bed ....all in 5 mins!! To be fair I didn’t expect much, but I expect clean at any price. I understand ants and spiders get in, but the amount of cobwebs indicated the poor cleanliness levels. The place itself looked very run down in decor and amenities. Paving overgrown with weeds, slides appeared not fully functional and it smelled of wet dog around them. Turd marks on the bin flipped it for me... The missus was straight to reception and told them we were leaving, got partial refund (lost first night) but was just glad to be out. We booked into a hotel we had used before, which cost double but was 20 times better. I cannot believe anyone gives this place more than one or two stars, unless they are recently released from Belsen or Stalg Luft III....even given the low cost of the facility!!…
