The reception at the hotel was rather cold and uncommitted and did not give a good first impression. We could not be offered any of the renovated rooms but only in the older part. We were therefore pleasantly surprised that the room was still in very good condition, with a nice and comfortable bed and a modern bathroom. Very clean, quiet and good size room. The hotel also has overnight accommodation for charter buses. In our case, 4 full buses. The restaurant was completely full in the evening and the breakfast quite chaotic when everyone would eat almost at the same time. The location is very good near Vik, Black Sand Beach, and Skogfoss waterfall.

I stayed here as part of a ring road tour. Looking at their website it seems I was allocated a Superior Room. The room was lovely, very spacious and upstairs (there is a lift) so the views were lovely. The bathroom was large, modern, bright and spotlessly clean. The accommodation was really very good. A lot of tour groups use this hotel so breakfast was extremely busy and a bit lacking. It did the job but seemed geared to an older demographic perhaps.

Ours was a last minute stay and we were welcomed in an organised and clear manner. The holes is clean, spacious and suitable for a short stay. It is a short drive from Vik but you are unlikely to be here without your own transport. The hotel has many bus groups staying and this made for a loud and crowded breakfast room which was well serviced but something to be aware of.

Beautiful room and gorgeous view! Breakfast was great, and the hotel restaurant for dinner was SO GOOD! Definitely reserve a spot for the dinner as soon as you can, they will run out of room! If you want to visit Vik, it is closeby by car. The hotel room had some diy fixes, but nothing that would be bothersome.

Modern, clean hotel, oriented towards large tourist groups. Perfectly adequate on all accounts but not a lot of character. Same can be said of the restaurant: food is fine but it seems kind of like a production line oriented towards big tour groups. You can get a better meal in Vik.

This hotel used to be a farm and they decided to go into the hotel business and they have made it into a thriving business..I liked the isolation of it as I'm a farm girl. I interacted with the front desk girl to get more pillows and she was very congenial..Their breakfasts were excellent also

Ó mæ. Ekki hótel. Meira eins og móttókustöð fyrir ferðamenn. Engin íslenskumælandi. Starfsmenn (stjórnendur) snauðir af jákvæðu viðmóti. Illa lyktandi húsnæði. Hlakka til að fara héðan. Oh my. This ain't no hotel. More like a reception center for tourists. No local staff or even Icelandic speaking employees. Employees ( and managers) lack a positive attitude. Smelly housing. Looking forward to leave.

Reasonably priced, comfortables beds, quiet rooms and free breakfast. The hotel was clean, and breakfast was adequate. Plus, restaurant staff was constantly cleaning and replenishing food. Also, about 15 ride into town with restaurants and a few shops. I would stay here again.
