Post Hostel was a very clean, comfortable, cozy, and conveniently located lodging in Seydisfjordur, Iceland. The kitchen was very nice - modern, clean, well-stocked; good coffee/espresso etc. machine, good tea selection; the lady host was very friendly and helpful. Good value.

We were an extended family of six (parents, grand-parents and kids) and we all loved the Post-Hostel. Rooms were basic but comfortable and very clean. We had shared bathroom (all that was left) and those were cleaned more than once a day! Most importantly beds were very comfortable and they had good black-out shades! It was the best of both... The very positive impression is somewhat because we compare with the more expensive hostel we stayed in last night. Post Hostel is as close to a hotel you can get. Yes, kitchen is shared but rooms are private and with own bath and a warm shower with the most fantastic nozzle. View and location is great and for Icelandic standards,... More

We stayed one night in a private room with bathroom . The room was specious and the bathroom even bigger. The bed was comfy and large. The hotel/ hostel has a common area as well as a kitchen with plenty of space. It is quiet so you will get a good sleep . The only down side is that the... More

My impression of hostels isn't that good so I was pleasantly surprised when this hostel turned out to be more comfortable with nicer accommodations. We booked a room with a private bath which helped. Twin beds were comfortable. Room was basic but clean and adequate. Large, well equipped shared kitchen available downstairs. Walking distance to restaurant with great pizza.

We booked a room with a bathroom. The room was small but functional, even with a desk. The bathroom was also functional and clean. The view was amazing, we had a waterfall view. The shared kitchen had everything needed and was very clean. It even has a free coffee machine with hot chocolate. Also close to various restaurants and a... More

In breathtaking, small city it was one of best place to stay. It's a hostel on high level, really clean, with good atmosphere and the best where we stay on our trip. Complete kitchen, comfy rooms, nice bathroom and amazing view from window! Thank you!

Nothing wrong with it but was a room all things being said and nothing more. Eat and drink in the local bars then crash here when you need to. Communal kitchen was a bonus and very well equipped. Seydisfjoyrder is lovely.

We had a double room on the ground floor. The room was quite big and the bathroom was new and also big. We had great views across the harbour from our window. The guesthouse has a very big, modern kitchen with all the equipment you'd need to cook a decent meal. They also offer a big selection or free tea... More

I stayed here with my girlfriend while we toured Iceland in April and it was a lovely stay. The hostel is in the far part of the village and easy to find, just past the off-licence. The only staff we encountered was the manager who let us in our room and was really friendly. The room was nice and clean... More
