We had a very pleasant stay at Fosshotel! Everyone at the hotel was friendly and the breakfast buffet was excellent. After arriving home my wife realized she had left some personal items in the room. She contacted the hotel and they located her items. They are in the process of shipping her items to our home in the USA!

First time in Iceland on a short family break. Can’t fault the Foss hotel. Good location. Modern, clean and warm hotel. Helpful and friendly staff. Short walk to the start of the Main Street and everything nearby. Great experience all round.

Absolutely amazing experience at Fosshotel Reykjavik. The staff are beyond amazing, always willing to help anyway they can. The breakfast buffet was delicious and a nice warm meal to have every morning. Beautiful rooms, clean and modern hotel. The tower rooms are great with a beautiful view.

Great location. Lovely hotel. Staff incredibly helpful, efficient and friendly. Food was incredible if super expensive at dinner time. Best pork and brownies I have EVER had. Would pay it again for a treat. Brilliant breakfast selection, recommended. Rooms very clean and nice touch for the toiletries. I wouldn’t say 5 star rooms but lovely all the same Bus stop 12 right outside - could not fault it

Stayed in Foss Hotel Reykjavík for four nights. Friendly staff, great breakfast a lovely hotel in a convenient location. The lift on the left can be very noisy at night, clean rooms, mattress a little hard but ok and pillows not the best quality, had stayed in Premier Inn the night before flying and their beds were divine so was perhaps spoilt. Would definitely stay at the Foss again on and can recommend it.

Front desk was extremely friendly and helpful. Breakfast was really good, rooms were spacious for my needs. Beer Garden was fabulous to unwind at end of the night. Day trip tours started right at the bus stop steps from the front of the hotel which made this super convenient.

Wonderful staff took care of our every request with efficiency and kindness. Very helpful, very friendly, we had a wonderful week stay and our home base helped to make the trip awesome. Pick up for excursions were right outside of the hotel and navigating the city (for our first time) was made easy with the directions of hotel staff.

We stayed in a tower room on floor 11. The room was very clean and the maid came everyday to clean the bathroom and make the bed. The room was very warm even though the radiator was not on but we just left the window open slightly. We had breakfast included which had a good selection of hot and cold food. We did eat in the main restaurant on our first night which was very pricey and had we known this we would not have eaten but the food was very nice with a good selection for a buffet. Staff were very friendly and we spent some nights in the Beer garden which was a nice area and my husband enjoyed sampling the different beers! The hotel was convenient for exploring Reykjavik especially with bus stop 12 being right outside. The hotel reception even arranged our airport transfers which was very useful. We would definitely stay here again but probably not eat in the restaurant.

The "beer garden" served fried cod that was both mushy in texture and cold in the middle. The Haust restaurant only had one option - the buffet. I was horrified when I worked out how much the bill was, even at Reykjavik prices. If there had been a menu with prices , or they had been on the website, we would not have eaten in the Haust. Apart from this the hotel was good.
