Me and the wife have just got back after spending 3 nights here. The hotel is in a great location just of the main road which runs right down to the town centre. It takes about 20 minutes and the walk in pretty flat. The staff at the hotel were extremely helpful and informative. We forgot travel plug adaptors and...

Recently returned from a 5 day break, location of hotel, 5 mins from start of town area, a mega long high street full of cafe/bars , tourist shops. Large room, double bed, decent size bathroom at the front of the hotel with sea view. Cracking restaurant with good breakfast(ham, cheese, cereals etc-no hot food)- Reception staff fantastic, nothing to much...

We stayed here twice as a group of three - the first room was an adequate size (though the shower was tiny) and the second room was quite spacious. Hotel is located about 20mins from main part of town. Comprehensive continental breakfast, and they even offered to pack us a sandwich when we left for an early flight. The restaurant...

We arrived at 22 Hill at 4:30 am. We missed a night sleep and were exhausted. All rooms were booked so Albert couldn't get us in a room. He made us feel right at home. He offered us coffee/tea and let us hang out in a comfortable sitting room. We have stayed in many hotels and have never meet such...

Our room was big, clean and uninspiring. The view was to the side street - no reason to look out that window. The bathroom was somewhat new but yet hopeless made. The toilet was so close to the sidewall that you had to sit across. The shower head could not be fastened as the holder was broken. Breakfast was OK....

It doesn't look much from the outside but once you're inside it's a great small hotel, clean functional modern rooms, great service, warm and only 10 minutes walk from the centre of Reykjavik. It has a decent breakfast and the attached restaurant was useful as it allowed us to grab a quick early dinner before going on a Northern Lights...

We really enjoyed our stay at 22 Hill Hotel. Our room was small, mostly consisting of a hallway that opens into a larger space that was basically just the bed. The bathroom is also small. This didn't really bother us, you just have to be more organized with opening your bags and stuff. The bed was SUPER comfortable and the...

If you have a rental car and plan to travel but want to be based in the capital then honestly you can't go wrong. 10 minute walk to the downtown area and near a supermarket and main roads. The staff here are great day and night. The breakfast is contenetal and drinks and snacks are available. Slight draw back is...
