While the staff is nice- this hotel is not work the over $225.00 (USD) rate. Rooms are just so/so and hotel is in need of renovation. It is a close walk to downtown and that is a plus. If I had to do it all over again, I would have spent a few more dollars for a nicer room. The...

We were very impressed with the 22 Hill Hotel, with great quality accommodations and great customer service while staying affordable. The rooms are on the smaller side, but not too snug. The beds were comfortable, the hot water wasn't at all sulfuric, and the lovely desk staff was cheerful even at our 5am arrival time. (We booked our reservation to...

This is not a fancy hotel but its comfortable. Views from the rooms are nothing to write home about but the location is good if you like to walk. There are so many good restaurants within one mile. The number 1 rated one is only .3 miles away! The main shopping area is close as is the big, modern cathedral....

Nice spacious room and bathroom with a nice shower. Location great. Quiet neighborhood just outside the city center. Free spacious parking (which was one of the reasons why we booked this hotel since we had a rental car with us) and just a 15 minute walk to the city center. Free nice coffee machines to get a coffee or tea...

The hotel was average. My husband and I stayed here for 2 nights and the bed was comfortable. However, this hotel is too far in cold weather to walk to the city and restaurants. We drove the 1km to get to the city. Also the shower was tiny! The shower was only 60-70cm by 80cm! I am a short slim...

The staff here are very welcoming and accomodating. I was staying 3 nights but had to make 2 seperate bookings since the same type of room was not available for all 3 nights. When I checked in and asked if I could stay in the same room for the 3 nights it was done no problem. On one of the...

Stayed 2 nights with my 29 years old son. Reception staff were world class for customer interaction and advice on what you can see. Their history knowledge of the island is simply ---- mesmerising. Enjoyed my stay. Relatively quiet despite being on front of building. Rooms clean and well presented. Bed was comfy. Breakfast - as per Scandinavian tastes and...

We stayed here one night. Good room. Comfortable bed. Breakfast could definitely be better. Very basic. Bread, boiled egg and some minimal fruits 1 cheese and 1-2 cold cuts. Some cereals, Tea coffee. They have a great restaurant which serves dinner. Great food. We dined here during our stay. Tandoori chicken dish was so good. Surprised to see Indian food...

I booked this hotel as I would literally only need a room for a few hours due to a very early airport pick up and it was very reasonably priced for Reykjavik. When I said I would be checking out at 2.30am the receptionist very kindly offered me a packed breakfast. I was travelling solo, it's probably one of the...

The hotel has clearly put a lot of thought into their rooms and these are really comfortable. A perfect distance from town...about a 15 mins walk. The staff are absolutely fantastic and were willing to do everything they could to make our stay a good one. Breakfast was excellent and they even made us up a breakfast pack on the...
