My husband and I stayed at CenterHotel Thingholt a few months ago and were pleased with the hotel and location. We had a Loft Suite, which was very nice and roomy. Our room was located above a garage door, which was fairly loud but we are sound sleepers to it didn’t bother us much. We enjoyed the large selection of food and drink at breakfast every morning. The front desk staff was very helpful and answered many questions for us, as this was our first time in Iceland. The hotel is in a great location in Reykjavík and we walked to many areas of the city and it is only a few minute walk to the Blue Lagoon bus stop. We recommend CenterHotel Thingholt, particularly for first time visitors to Iceland, because of the helpful and information front desk staff, convenient location, lovely breakfast and comfy rooms.…
Iceland is closed to international visitors until 15th June so you would expect the hotel to refund or offer a credit on a pre-purchased booking for 5 nights from 7th June. But no the hotel is insisting its non refundable and I will loose my money if I do not turn up for the booking. This is day light robbery and I would not recommend this chain to any one. I am willing to take a credit if offered for use next year so come on and do the right thing by your customers.
Brilliant hotel and friendly staff. Had no issues whatsoever with the hotel and it is in a perfect location. There is a large choice for breakfast and part of my family are vegan and managed fine. Would go back without a doubt.
Well located hotel, friendly and helpful staff, good breakfast, lovely spa. Rooms on the top floor under the slanted roof not suitable for taller people, otherwise nice rooms. Would return and certainly recommend. Thank you for recognising my birthday with the macaroon platters in my room.
