This guesthouse was a bit more like a hotel than a B&B and was very conveniently located. Nice rooms (we had one with a private bath), some with balconies, that are very clean. The guesthouse is centrally located right across from Hallgrímskirkja Church and in walking distance from shopping, the Old Harbor and many attractions. Very affordable and pleasant -... More

Located next to Hallgrímskirkja, it's really easy for you to find your way 'home' even from outside of town. We booked one of the studio apartments; and, while we didn't use the kitchen except for the fridge, we did appreciate the extra space. We just couldn't bring ourselves to do the shared bathroom thing. There may have been one or... More

Stayed in studio 7 on the 3rd floor overlooking the big church, nice. Reasonable size bedroom and kitchen. But the toilet and shower were tiny, and I am not big. Parking is not a problem. Everywhere was very clean and the staff was friendy. No problem asking for extra pillows. The room was warm and quiet. But as it was... More

Location is excellent, easy walking for all of Reykjavik sites. Hospitality outstanding. Will stay here on future visits. We walk every where. Staff has exceeded our expectations when we have asked for advice and /or help with booking something. Tour companies pick you up at the door. Room is great size for the two of us, clean and comfortable.

If you like paying a lot to stay in a very clean closet, the Sunna Guest house is perfect for you. I trust TA reviews and feel like I write pretty honest ones in return, but I don't see why this place gets such positive reviews. The good: 1. It was clean. 2. Staff was helpful when approached. 3. Excellent... More

...Reception gave me bad advice about what time to catch my early morning flight. I reserved a place on the bus to the airport, but ended up paying for a taxi last-minute because it was clear that I would otherwise miss my flight. The bus would have cost me 2500 krona; the taxi cost me 14000 krona. A huge difference.... More

If you had to pick a landmark in Reykjavik, it would probably be Hallgrímskirkja, the main church and basically the tallest building. Well, it's right outside the window! So that means you can walk anywhere you want to get to in the city (and it's all downhill!). It's reasonably priced for the city and the staff was very pleasant and... More

Sunna is close to several major attractions and restaurants in a very nice neighborhood. The tour bus we used picked us up at the door and returned us within a short walk of the hotel We were perfectly happy with the location. The room was adequate in size and definitely clean and well maintained. Staff was friendly and helpful. Not... More

Really lovely guesthouse, breakfast bar was well stocked and had good coffee and the staff were really lovely and helpful. We did a shared bathroom option which worked great as there was only 3 rooms to share and there was a separate WC and shower room and the rooms had sinks. Really good kitchen too with everything you would need.... More

Spent one night here before beginning tour of Iceland and another night at the end of the tour. Good location right beside Hallgrimskirkja, our room had a side view. A complimentary buffet breakfast is served each morning. Each room had a sink in the room but in each instance there was either a shared toilet and shower or shared bathroom.... More
