We had rough US travel getting to Iceland, involving delays of several days, so the friendly front desk and the wide open living room space of Apt. 30 were extremely welcome. Our family of 3 enjoyed lovely views of the cathedral, a sculpture garden, and a bit of ocean. The area seemed to be quite residential with parents pushing beautiful... More

This place was great!! Apartment was huge! Staff was very helpful. I recomend this place to everyone. Great location central in town could not get lost. The kitchen and bathrooms were clean. The breakfast every morning did not lack anything. Can't rave enough about this place.

I always stay at the Sunna when in Reykjavík. The location - across from the Hallgrímskirkja and Einar Jónsson museum - is central and excellent. The rooms are bright, clean, modern and with great views from the top floors. There are a variety of room types to choose from and the rates are fair. The staff is courteous, friendly, and... More

We (family of 4, kids aged 7 and 5) stayed here for 2 nights at the start of our trip and 1 night at the end of it. The staff at the desk were really helpful, friendly and warm to us. We hope to return to Iceland again, and will plan to stay here again.

This guesthouse was booked through gti tours. We had a choice of a hotel or an apartment,we chose the apartment, it saved us some money. So glad we did we ended up with a two bedroom, living room, dining room and fully equipped kitchen. We were on a third floor with great views, since we were in city center. The staff... More

I stayed here a couple nights before circling the country. Service was helpful, English speaking which helped a lot. Rooms were comfortable and clean, shared bathroom and kitchen facilities, complimentary continental breakfast which was really nice. Location was a few minutes walk into the main part of the city and port. Overall a fair price for a great place to... More

We went to Reykjavik for a visit around new year. The trip was organized by the local company called Nordic Visitor. They proved to be very helpful and competent people. The Guesthouse Sunna was their choice of lodging. It is located virtually next door from the Hallgrimskirkja which proved to be invaluable during New Years celebrations and fireworks. It is... More

A good location for exploring Reykjavik and surrounding areas. Across the street from the church, one block from shopping and restaurants, but located on a quiet street. They have free private parking which is a big plus. The rooms are good size, big windows, nice bathrooms, and they were quiet, except for hearing the opening/closing of the shared bathroom door....
