Nice, clean and cosy hotel. Lovely and helpful staffs. The breakfast is not bad at all. The only thing i would complain about the hotel is that the toilet was a little bit too small. But it's not a big deal actually i would say. If you wanna find a really good hotel which is located in the center of... More

Caution - you may get sticker shock when you first arrive in beautiful Reykjavik. Everything is so expensive here! The moment you start doing the mental math as to what your vacation is going to cost is the moment you realize you may need a second mortgage on your home. That said, there are some ways to save big in... More

Emil helped us check in and was very nice. We has 3 couples that wanted our own rooms. Our reservations we messed up and one of the rooms smelled like cat pee. He quickly helped us get another room and answered all the questions we could throw at him. The room had a kitchen, the beds were comfortable and there... More

This guest house is perfectly located with in walking distance to the heart of Reykjavik and many of its sights. Just outside the guest house is Hallgrimskirkja (Lutheran Church) and the Einar Jonsson Museum with a beautiful sculpture garden to enjoy. Stayed here for one week in shared accommodation with twin beds/fridge/microwave and private bathroom. There are many other options... More

My wife and I planned a3 day stopover to Iceland and we are glad we did. We wanted to make this trip walkable in town and have a car for the outlying areas. Sunna Guesthouse fit the bill. Great location in town, a block from the main street and Hallgrims Kirkja (Lutheran church). Sunna has many different floor plans and... More

We choose Sunna for cost and location. It is expensive for about everything in Iceland, but our visit and tours we awesome. At Sunna the room was small but very nice. Our room shared a separate toilet room and shower room with two other rooms. In same area was a kitchen we were free to use and a TV in... More

It was a warm and welcoming place for me as a first timer in Iceland. The rooms were clean and confortable. The receptionist really nice, he helped to carry our luggages up to the room, so was the staff in the kitchen. Breakfast, more than i expected to be!

We booked Sunna for the apartment that would fit our family of four. The apartment includes a kitchen with everything needed for cooking your own meals, including a large refrigerator with freezer. The bathroom is tiny and the shower curtain bar fell during our stay. As with every place we stayed in Iceland, there is one towel provided per person.... More

Overall it was pretty good. It did stink just a little in the halls and it was impossible not to make a lot of noise with the heavy autoclosing doors, but the rooms were clean and tidy. We stayed twice, and the second room with the balcony was definitely more enjoyable! Breakfast was good- homemade breads and a variety of... More
