This is a perfect location being opposite Hallgrímskirkja church. No matter where you walk in the city the church is an excellent landmark to find your way back to the guesthouse. We stayed in the apartment which was very clean & a perfect position to view the New Year's Eve firework. The apartment had excellent facilities and with prices in Iceland...

Stayed in Nov/Dec 2015. The place is located very near to the church. It is convenient to walk to the supermarket although the snow was everywhere. The staff were helpful. We opted for a room with a little kitchen that had a stove and a oven. Most of our tours and activities were able to pick us up from the...

Bery nice place. We didn't stay in the building where the reception is but next door. Just a little annoying but it's ok. Room had the basics, well heated and we shared a kitchenette. Good for low budgets. Front desk people was AMAZING, very helpful and polite. We needed one day early breakfast and it was not small packages in...

Great studio with cooking facilities which was ideal. It was impeccably clean. It was very close to Hallsgrimkirkja and easy to get to all other areas in the city. Staff were really helpful, they printed our boarding passes for us and got us extra pillows with no problem. There was a good selection of food for breakfast which was included in...

Good: We stayed at Sunna Guesthouse for five nights. The location is great, near city center and the church. Offer daily room cleaning. Comfortable bed. Plenty of choices for breakfast. Bad: We chose this guesthouse because they have "well equipped' kitchen in the common area, but we only found a microwave,a fridge, a kettle, some plates and cutlery ! We...

In my opinion, the location is superb, just next to Hallgrímskirkja, and walking distance to the streets of Laugavegur and Skólavörðustígur, and futher down, the city centre. Very quiet at night. The room is clean and cozy, but I was quite put off by the sulfur smell from our bathroom taps (room 313). Our level has a great pantry (no...

My stay at sunna was a little below average. The water in my shower and sink smelled like sulfur. I felt like I was at the power plant. I had to use bottled water to brush my teeth so I wouldn't gag. The walls are extremely thin and I could hear everything going on in the parking lot that was...

The guesthouse is across the street from a wonderful little park and the main historic church, Hallgrímskirkja. Sunna is also steps away from the main street. Very safe and cute neighborhood. Free parking and breakfast included The rooms are basic and the bathrooms are small. My room was a studio with its own bathroom and kitchenette. I highly recommend room...

Wasn't sure what to expect when I saw there were shared bathrooms. Could not be more pleased. Immaculately clean throughout. Nice breakfasts with freshly made bread. Incredibly central location - about 15 mins maximum from main shopping and tourism district. Had a view of Hallgrimskirka from our window in the room. So many terrific shops, restaurants and bars nearby. Really...
