Located just off the main street in Reykjavik, Home Luxury Apartments is centrally located making it perfect for seeing the sights in the city. The building is made up of numerous serviced apartments (also called Apartment K, we later found out) which provide a kitchen, bathroom, lounge and bedroom. It had all the amenities we could ask for including a...

Not exactly luxury, but definitely a cool place to stay! The "penthouse" is a third floor walk up, nicely appointed but not luxury in any sense of the word. No amenities except coffee, no hair dryer. Very cool tub but no stand up shower. This is not what one would call "accessible" . That's it for the negatives! Pros: location,...

The bed was incredibly comfortable and the room was huge, with a full kitchen (full size fridge, stove, dishwasher, etc) full private bathroom, large bedroom, and separate living room area. The hotel was hard to find though, with just a small sign on the door that we missed at first. Check in was quick and the employees are very friendly....

For the most part this was a great place to spend the week. My family rented two studios and the 2 br penthouse. The central location is really convenient for walking to almost anything in Reykjavik, and right in the middle of the tourist area, so restaurants, shops, etc, are all a quick walk away. BUT - on weekends that...

Great location right in the middle of Reykjavik - there really is no better place to stay, location wise. The apartments join another property (Apartment K), so it can be a little tricky to figure out where the place is as there is no markings suggesting it's called Home Luxury Apartments. Apartments themselves are quite clean (although the floors could...

The guide for the photography tour we were joining of Iceland recommended this place. To be clear, it was clean and functional. Let me emphasise functional; the bathroom was concrete with an open shower. Not sure if there is a better description than 'functional'. The room itself was under another room in what was probably a barn or workshop over...

Stayed Aug 18-23 First, it is impossible to reach anyone at the desk by phone. A few months before our reservation, we called to ask a question and were told our reservation was cancelled. After two weeks of going back and fourth with the hotel and orbitz we finally settled things. It was done very unprofessionally and was disappointing. The...

In the end we decided to go for another hotel, so we cannot say anything about the atmosphere and quality of this hotel. From the outside it looked quite nice and the location was definitely great, though. Also with a rental car, there should not be any problem with finding a parking in that area of Reykjavik. Despite the fact...

We absolutely loved our room! I'm under the impression that different rooms have different looks or themes, and ours was awesome. It felt like stepping back into the 70s with red walls, orange lamps, wide recliner sofas, a pink fridge, and wooden floors with a small step up platform holding the beds in the corner that had an underlight feature....

The place is a little hard to find since it's in Appartement K building. When we got there, the reception was in fact a phone were we had to call...the good thing is that it didn't take long for them to show and show us our room. Like most of the hotels that have parking in the downtown, it's very...
