Be aware this hotel is in the city centre and the icelandic people like to drink and listen to loud music until 5.30 am Friday and Saturday nights!! Room was adequate and reception staff helpful The restaurant attached to the hotel was so expensive !! And the food dreadful!!! Absolutely NEVER eat there!!!!

We stayed for three nights in Nov, bed and breakfast, although we ate in the restaurant as well. Firstly the hotel is good, our room was amazing, the continenetal breakfast was pretty good with plenty of choices. The location is good too on Laugevegur with lots of attractions within walking distance. The hotel staff were all extremely friendly and polite....

Stayed for 3 nights in mid November and was a little wary given some dodgy reviews. The main benefit of staying here is definitely the central location - you can't get better as it's right in the middle of everything - restaurants, shops etc and only a short walk to the harbour and Hallgrímskirkja also Gray Line picked up from...

Why reliable? It is weird for a hotel review. We booked and paid non refundable on line. When we arrived early in the morning and asked if we can early check in, the owner offered us to have breakfast first and asked us to give him 20 minutes to process. Later on, we realized that the hotel was over booked,...

We were upgraded to an apartment for our stay, which was a pleasant surprise. The wifi however, does not work in the apartment, and even in the same building, at the restautant, connection was bad. We were advised by our tour agent, to get the hotel reception to help us confirm the airport transfer timing, as they had booked our...

We stayed at Hotel Fron for 4 nights in Novembe 2016 from the super easy check in, to checking out everything was great. The staff were fantastic, the room was cleaned every day (thank you), they are friendly and very helpful, if you have any excursion questions, no matter who it is booked with they will call them and find...

Hotel Fron is right in the middle of the action on Laugavegur, Reykjavik's main shopping street. It has a parking lot, and serves a breakfast buffet in its on-site restaurant. The rooms were spacious, modern and clean and we didn't hear any street noise despite being in the middle of downtown Reykjavik. The staff were helpful and friendly, even going...

My wife and two of our friends stayed here in November of 2016, the hotel has two lifts, wouldn't say it's really disabled friendly quite the opposite especially for wheelchair access, even the restaurant next door with its 20% discount wouldn't be any good as it is impossible really to move around. The people are friendly and helpful, the rooms...

Stayed there this weekend no complaints at all clean an rooms clean. Advise hiring a car in Iceland as trips are really expensive we did a lot for the price of the petrol everything else free except for parking at some places. As out all day driving from place to place hotel was more than adequate . Blue Lagoon a...

Great central location in the city of the capitol, all shops in walking distant and lots of restaurants to. The hotel was modern looking in the reception area and the room was basic, with two separate sleeping areas, double curtains for the summer months. Staff were helpful and had excellent local knowledge. The hotel was warm and had a good...
