Welcome to Bus Hostel. We offer a relaxed and inviting environment for the budget-conscious traveler.

Our dorms are simple, bright and comfortable ranging from 4 to 24 bed rooms as well as more private room options. The dorms are sleeping bag accommodation, however our private rooms come complete with duvets and towels. Additionally, all of our rooms and common areas have access to our free wifi. Our spacious bathrooms all come with private showers.

You can relax in our lounge which is complete with a small bar. The bar has excellent happy hour prices and a very reasonably priced breakfast. Or you can prepare your meal in one of our two fully equipped kitchens.

We are happy to help you plan your trip in Iceland. The front desk is open 24/7, and our friendly staff are more than happy to help you book your return shuttle, tours or give you directions around town. We have a car rental at the front desk and plenty of parking outside.

Bus Hostel Reykjavik is located only a few minutes away from the major bus routes in and out of Reykjavik. We are a 15 minute walk from the main shopping streets in the downtown area in one direction and Kringlan the mall in the other. Perlan, the Klambratun park and Kjarvalsstadir art museum are all just ten minute walks from us as well.

This used to be a super cozy, friendly hub for folks traveling in Iceland. I always came here to get my rental car even when I wasn't staying here, and would get a beer at the bar and hang out and meet folks. Now it's sterile, boring corporate BS and the employees and management are all angry and unfriendly. It's seriously a tragedy what happened to this place.

The hostel is ideally located in relation to Keflavik airport. The bus from the airport arrives right here. The rooms are large, 12 or 16 people lived in our room. Amenities are minimal. Cool enough. The toilet is not very clean, with peeling Wallpaper. However, the price is attractive, and this is the main thing for many tourists.

The hostel was well located, near by Downtown. The bed and pillows were comfortable. But the bathrooms were very Dirty. I still think it worths the price. Breakfast was extra 1500 isk, we did not try.

The dorm rooms have only one switch for the lights and when you open it everyone will be awake. When I asked at the reception for a small desk light or something, they told me "that's what we have " . Here is your 1 star. Try to change that.

This hostel is super budget friendly. The location is very good if you want to travel by bus as it is exactly in the bus station. If you want to travel alone and you don't have a car it is super good. The kitchen was dirty all the time and no one from the staff came to check in anytime and the bathroom was average.
