Stayed here two nights and loved being able to walk to so many sights, restaurants and clubs downtown. Very helpful and attentive staff, nice dorm room and common area. The kitchen could be a bit bigger, but other than that, I had an awesome stay and would highly recommend this hostel. Still a bit chilly, but loved the rooftop bar!

Loft Hostel was perfect for our four day trip. On the "main street" in Reykjavik, it was safe, modern, and comfortable, highly important for two female travelers. We had initially looked at paying more for a hotel but I'm so glad we didn't as our twin room was akin to what I'd expect in a budget hotel. There was also...

Words can't describe the amazing time I had staying in Loft Hostel. The staff are incredibly friendly and they made me feel right at home despite my actual home being on the other side of the world. I spent five nights in the 6-bedded female only dorms but there were usually only 4 of us in one room. The place...

Had a private room with bathroom. It had 2 bunk beds and a small sitting desk area. Very warm when it was cold outside. Well-maintained and comfortable, if not rather spartan in appearance. The common area was very charming, however. Front desk adjoins a bar, and there is a library/loft area which doubles as a yoga studio on Sunday mornings....

I have to say, traveling alone may be frightening, however the perks of meeting people from all over the world makes it so worth it. Loft hostel is by far the best place to stay in Reykjavik. It's in such an ideal location (within steps to all downtown sights and attractions. Loft is well managed, very clean and even has...

We stayed for 6 days and this staff took great care of us. We had tour group mixups, asking for directions, assistance with phone and internet issues. As well as enjoying happy hour and breakfast here. The staff members were polite, helpful and Friendly. The rooms were clean, the facility is maintained magnificently. We are definitely coming back here. Excellent...

I traveled alone to Iceland and stayed here in a 6 person female dorm, people came and went every night and there were snorers, so I wore earplugs and it helped tremendously. (Ear plugs are available for free at the reception.) I had the breakfast every morning they served croissants, teas and coffee, waffles with syrup and butter, muesli, cheerios,...
