We stayed at the Loft Hi hostel for 2 nights. The check in was smooth. The best thing about it the hostel is the location and the roof top bar ! Both these score 10/10 The rooms were good too. They offer breakfast and also a kitchen facility. Would stay again here and recommend to all friends and family

I stayed here for almost two weeks in October and staying here actually made my trip to Iceland better. I met tons of fellow travelers in the bar/lounge, had a great time watching the northern lights from the balcony, and just exploring from the central location. Location - right in the center of the action on the main tourist street. Right next to lots of bars and restaurants, and can walk to the grocery store, Subway, bus stop and everything else. Couldn’t pick a better spot. Rooms - nothing special but had everything you need. They provide linens but you need to rent a towel. Beds have a light, shelf, outlet and lock box. One bathroom/shower per room. Plenty of space in rooms. There were 6 people for about 5 days and 3 people the other days. Bar/lounge - has a nice balcony (one of the few in Reykjavik), and a lounge are with a bar. Great happy hour prices. The bar was quite crowded with locals on weekends. Staff - helpful and friendly Negatives - due to location next to everything, can be loud at night on weekends. Beds/pillows not that comfortable, my body started to hurt after 10 nights here.

Perfect. Cheap stay. Clean. Enjoyed the ease of having a reasonably priced breakfast in Reykjavik provided. Not bothered by street noise. Parking in Reykjavik not free in centre so need to park car further away in daytime. Thank you
