We stayed for 6 days in this hotel. The standard room is pretty small and has no closet to put your clothes. However, they do serve a good breakfast which can save you a lot of money. Prices are expensive in Reykjavik and this would help your budget. The staff are pretty helpful also. They help you with your transfers...

Stayed here as part of our Iceland Air package. The hotel is on the seafront and is close by to the Main Street, only takes about 15-20minutes to walk into town centre. Breakfast is adequate, great cold selection, hot selection is a bit prepacked type mini hot dog sausages and hard scrambled eggs. They do have a make your own...

We stayed in 3 different Fosshotels while in Iceland. This was our favorite. Small and personal. The staff was great and had 1 of our 2 rooms available when we arrived super early. Was great to have a place to freshen up. Rooms were big and clean. Breakfast was good. Location is very good for walking the streets of Reykjavik.

We arrived early in the morning on Friday (which was the middle of the night for our body clocks) and were hoping there might be a chance to check into our room at least a bit before the official check in time of noon. But Frans and Werner at the front desk arranged for a room that was already available...

Booked trip to Iceland to celebrate my 40th Birthday, I had asked for a double bed and sea view, I got neither, 2 single beds and a view of a car park. Hotel itself is nice, room was small, beds were uncomfortable and hard. Shower extremely small, and flooded the bathroom floor. Room was always warm even without the radiator...

Nice and clean hotel. Good location. 2 minute walk to Main Street with shops, restaurants and cafe. Also on the harbour so you can see water from the front of the hotel despite a building directly in front.

We stayed at this hotel for 3 nights at the beginning of January. It was perfect for what we needed - a base while we explored Reykjavik. Breakfast selection was excellent, on days where we had pre planned excurisons the staff were happy to cater to our earlier starts. Excellent location, couple of streets down from the main street where...

Having never been to Iceland before we didn't know what to expect but we loved everything about our stay. Fosshotel Baron was exactly what we needed, large warm rooms with a separate bedroom (2adults 1 child). Small dining table and chairs, tea/coffee ,tv, shower etc.. The room was clean, and well equipped, wardrobe, safety deposit box and plenty of plug...

This 3star hotel is located on the sea front and it is a flat 5-10 min walk along the sea front to the harbour. 2 blocks behind the hotel again 5-10 mins up slight incline your find the main strip of restaurants, shops and bars. We had a sea view that was only marred by the offices and dominos pizza...

Not sure how many rooms the Fosshotel Baron has, but it has 5 floors, and front facing rooms face the water, which is a treat. Our room, 524, was average sized, with a small bathroom, and very small stand-up shower. Our room also had a blow dryer attached to the wall. Breakfast was typical european, but also had scrambled eggs...
