We stayed here for 2 nights, once at the start of the trip and once again before leaving Iceland. When I first saw the location of the hotel I thought it was going to be a pain. But not at all, it is easily accessible by car, and it is only 20 minutes walking distance from the city centre. It looks like the average office block from the outside, but the interior is actually nice. The room was good, with a comfortable bed, and a shower with good water pressure. Breakfast was excellent, with lots of different choices including my beloved herring. Nice staff all around as well.

Just spent 2 nights at the Hotel Reykjavik Natura with 3 friends. There were some real positives: - they let us check in at noon even though check in is 2 pm - it's near Perlan, which is a nice wooded walking area with a museum and cafe at the top. - Clean - Free coffee Some negatives: - Pretty small (thin) rooms. It didn't take away from the stay but definitely one of the smallest rooms I've stayed at - Service was consistent but not wow - Pretty far (relatively speaking) from downtown Reykjavik. You can walk it, but it's a good 25 min hike - some of the tour companies don't pick up/drop off at this hotel. You have to go to Hallgrimskirkja which is 25 min away Overall, I would rate the hotel a 3.5 if I could. I mostly knocked its rating due to location

We stayed in this hotel for 4 days. Although this hotel is not located near the main shopping/restaurant area, the shuttle bus provides convenient transportation to Harper Concert Hall which is near to the old harbor and major restaurants/central attractions of the city. The shuttle bus also stope at Perlan Wonders of Iceland which is a very interesting science museum. Excellent breakfast with fresh fruits plus huge selections of breakfast food. The price is also reasonable giving the fact that everything is expensive in Iceland.

My layover with Eagle Air was nearly 8 hours long and this hotel is right on the airport. I went in hoping that they would have day room available, unfortunately they were fully booked. I did however, have a wonderful buffet lunch there and the staff said I could hang out by them until I could catch my flight. If the service and lunch buffet was excellent, I can only imagine that staying here would be worthwhile.

Stayed the last night as part of a Danish group tour around Iceland. From the outside it seems a bit dated, not looking much, but inside modern. The common area are nice. A fine collection of the different birds and small animal living in Iceland in the lobby. Quick and easy check in. We must admit that it was not as good as expected. Situated too far away from the city center. Basic and small room. Just enough room to unpack and then not much space left! Had a and clean two beeds room with privat bathroom. Room 267 with a view facing the front parking. The bathroom were ok, tiny but sufficient, with a tiny shower. The water pressure were good and hot water. Our beds were comfortable and with nice duvets. There is a large flat screen tv with a fine selection of channels and a fridge. Not tee/coffee facility. Thick curtains to keep the room dark. One out of seven power outlet one worked. Have to use the one for the television! Leaving in the morning we found out that a swift in the entrance turned on/of the room, except the television sucked. The free wifi in the room were not existent. It has worked fantastic at our different places during our trip, in every small outskirts. It went on and off all the time. One have to open the door to the room and go outside in the corridor to get on the internet. The breakfast were rather good, served as a buffet and displayed in a nicely way. Actually the best one on the trip. Plenty off food and a great variety of items to choose from. We went for dinner in the lobby restaurant SATT. Not the most cosy one. The only option were a buffet, 4.900 ISK. Fine selection of fresh food for starters, two different meats (pork, wheel and salmon) for the main and a wide selection of nice dessert. The one serving/cutting the meet should be more attentive (had to wait TOO long to one have to bother to comeback to the counter, and nothing about the three different gravy). But friendly and attentive staff serving the table.
