At this time of year, it's difficult to find one hotel room in Reykjavik. We are a family of five and needed two adjoining rooms. We only began planning a month and this hotel was able accommodate us. Very grateful for that. Reyk is a small town so you can walk to the city center and bustling Harbor Village in... More

I stayed at the Radisson Blue Saga Hotel during my visit to Iceland as part of an organized trip. The first time I was there (July 5, 2016) was a relatively hot day in Reykjavik and the sun was shining all through the day. When we arrived to the room (facing west) it was so hot we couldn't breathe. Although... More

I stayed in a single room, my parents stayed in a twin room. My room is miserably small and quite cramped. The tissue box in my toilet was empty. The locker sat on top (definitely not reachable if my mother stayed in this room) of the wardrobe. My parents' room did not have a kettle. My bed is a single... More

Decent hotel with a great breakfast and clean rooms. Views of the midnight sunset is possible from some of the rooms. The safe deposit boxes in the rooms don't all work. Our rooms need to be renovated. But overall good experience. Concierge is very helpful. Several day trips will pickup from hotel. We always asked to be dropped off near... More

10 minute walk to center of town...great breakfast included and comfortable rooms. Great little city with bars and restaurants near the harbor. Inexpensive cab ride to town as well. Bank located in hotel for ease when converting $

Stayed at this hotel recently and overall it isn't bad. The hotel is in the process of being renovated and we stayed in one of the renovated rooms which made a difference. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom was decent. The hotel is located approximately fifteen minutes walking distance from the center of town which worked out well for... More

The hotel was worse than expected. Although after what I had read in reviews online, an my moderate expectations of the hotel. The hotel needs an upgrading / renovation. The rooms and the hotel appeared very worn and therefore somewhat dirty. The hotel's location was a bit too far from downtown to be able to walk from the hotel with... More

We started our trip to Iceland with a 2 night stay in Radisson Blue Saga in Reykjavik and it was the worst stay in a Radisson ever and also heavily overrated for a 4 star hotel. Not even the rooms and the whole hotel is in a very timeworn condition also the whole service around is below ground, started with... More

The Saga is a solid hotel of the Radisson chain which we understands dates back to the 80s. clean and well equipped rooms with all essentials although not overly spacious. nice breakfast buffet style staff at the receptions is very friendly and extremely helpful.

This hotel is located within easy walking distance of the downtown area. The hotel itself is an older style large hotel with shopping, a restaurant, and a full service bar in the lobby area. Its a apparently undergoing renovations. The lobby itself was very large and had a great "presence" to it. Almost like a resort. Check in didn't take... More
