We stayed here en route to south Iceland. Room was tiny, so tiny that the small double bed was up against the wall with one bedside table. Bathroom also very small. Room very tired - holes in the carpet and old furnishings. Very noisy, could hear lift from 5 am and road noise - bearing in mind Reykjavik is a...

We booked three rooms for five people through a tour group. We were very happy with the tour group but not the hotel. The lobby isn't too bad but once you leave the elevator to walk down the hallway to your room, you will see dirty, ripped wallpaper, old doors, leading to small rooms. We had three rooms, a single...

Arrived early in the morning. The 1st person checking me in said no rooms available, luckily a more experienced person checked me in and found a room. Well the room is clean and comfortable, but run down. I was very disappointed in the condition of this hotel. The days in I stayed in a few nights ago in Florida was...

We stayed 2 nights. The first night was a Saturday and there was a wedding going on so it was a very noisy night until around 2am. No biggie because we were up late anyway. Check in was quick and easy. The room was nothing special. Very plain and fairly clean. We had a king bed that had 2 comforters...

Stayed here 4 nights as part of Gate 1's Northern Lights package over Thanksgiving weekend with 13 year old granddaughter. The hotel is exactly a one mile walk to downtown restaurants and shops. We are checking out of this hotel and firstly the positives the location is ok, in the quieter part and 15 minute walk to the centre. They have wifi although it wasn't a great signal or fast enough to use to book tours. On that note don't use the tour shop in the hotel it's more expensive than booking online,...

This hotel was basic enough for a 4*, the windows were old & draughty but it was a great location with only a 10min walk to the city centre. The breakfast buffet was by far the best part of our stay, huge variety of food & drinks & plenty of very helpful staff to assist if needed. The bar was...
