We always rate only our exceptional experiences. However, this review is needed to warn visitors about the issues they could face. The hotel is not air conditioned, which would seem ok for Iceland. However, the rooms with the sea view also have 20 or more hours of hot sun beating down on large windows. Only 2 small windows on top...

My husband and I recently spent 3 nights at the Radisson Blu Saga - we arrived very early in the morning and were not able to check in until 2pm.. which meant sleeping for hours in the lobby (which I didn't mind) - upon check in, our room was fantastic! Very spacious with a very large, very comfortable bed and...

Stayed here with a friend for 4 nights in March. Small but well presented and clean rooms with everything you'd need for a short break. Good size Bathroom with free toiletries. Good location only being a 10 minute walk into the town centre or Harbour so you feel close to everything but not on top of the bars and restaurants....

Should be called saggy hotel cos that is what it is !! Very tired rooms with distressed furniture (splinters from the desk) and public areas. Internet is the worst I have ever experienced ..... connects for 30 - 40 seconds then disconnects .... probably will not be able to send this review ! Very over-priced but agreed to pay the...

Enjoyable hotel that meets your requirements. Slightly out of the centre although the 15 minute walk to the centre is enjoyble and gives you the chance to see a little extra of Reykjavik than what you would by staying in the centre itself. Breakfast option has a great selection. We had a view over the square to the entrance of...

They may be in the process of remodeling, but the existing rooms are in poor condition. The wallpaper is peeling, the beds are worn out, and the bathroom has a moisture problem with its drop ceiling (presumably inadequate ventilation). They should charge significantly less than they do. The information in the room regarding the the restaurants in the hotel was...

I was a bit underwhelmed by this hotel, to be honest, not helped by the day-long drilling during the room upgrades on the 4th and 5th floors. It's a 10/15 minute walk from Rejkjavik centre, but not far from the Museum of Iceland (great if it's raining, which it was, a lot!) and the restaurants are expensive, even for Iceland....

We toured through Discover Europe which was very satisfactory. They had excellent following through from when we booked the trip until we returned. Iceland is a beautiful volcanic island. Once I stepped foot outside the airport, I took a deep breath and smelled the nice clean air. Snow capped mountains were just gorgeous. Great country, beautiful people. They are very...

We arrived at the hotel about midday and were pleased to find our room was ready so we could drop the bags off and walk into town. The hotel is about a 10-15 walk into the city centre (you can also get a bus close by). The hotel has a bar and restaurant which served good food - ideal if...

My husband and I arrived here at 6:30 am from the airport. We didn't sleep well on the plane and were tired. We had no expectations of checking in, just were hoping for a bag drop area while we went in search of breakfast. To our happy surprise we were told a room was available for us then, and the...
