Staff were welcoming and helpful throughout our 3 night stay. The location of this hotel is good for exploring but not actually very nice so if you are after views etc it won't be for you. Room was very small and furniture seemed be fashioned out of old pieces of broken furniture. Virtually no storage for clothes which given the...

With free parking and being located in the heart of Reykjavik, this hotel worked well for us on our first day in Iceland. Breakfast was wonderful especially the coffee from the machine. The parking lot was small, but there was enough parking for us to always find a spot. It was a bit inconvenient to get in and out since...

We stayed here only 1 night and it was a couple blocks east of downtown. It wasn't easy to get to (driving) but we were lucky to get a parking spot right outside (there was only 2). Apparently there was parking garage but it was blocked due to construction. The hotel itself was ok, older, the room we had was...

Dear Tammy M Thank you so much for sharing your experience you had with Fosshótel Lind with others here on Trip Advisor. The fact that you mentioned that our awesome breakfast and our good location means a lot to us! You unfortunately stayed here on the time we were high-pressure washing the roof of the hotel before painting so there...

We had great accommodations all around this beautiful island of ICELAND and this room was ugh! Staff and main hotel nice. Incomplete mural of mouse?...old sheets...light fixture not attached to ceiling. Just plane tacky.

Dear taftby Thank you so much for sharing your experience you had with Fosshótel Lind with others here on Trip Advisor. We were happy to read that you found our employees and our hotel to be nice. Regarding the room; This unique room you stayed in was a part of a design event called Hönnunarherbergið (Design room). Newly graduated designers...

The hotel was in a good central location. The hotel staff was very nice, and the rooms were well kept. The rooms are small, but manageable. The shower is tiny! My conclusion after staying in many hotels in Iceland, is that they must shower differently than I do because they are all on the small side! The parking was a...

Hotel is on the edge of the centre of Reykjavik however it is within walking distance of the main sights of the city. Rooms are very clean and well maintained. Breakfast is a buffet style with a really wide selection to choose from. The staff at breakfast and reception are fantastic and a credit to the hotel. Nothing is too...

We liked the location as the hotel quite close the city centre. We also appreciated the helpful staff, particularly at the front desk. They really provided excellent service. We found both the bedroom and bathroom to be on the small side. There was limited space in both rooms. The included breakfast was good and we didn't eat dinner there. The hotel...

Not a fancy place by American standards but a nice, clean hotel in a great location. Room was smaller as they are in Europe but plenty of room for your luggage, etc. Be careful when turning on the water here or anywhere in Iceland as it is SUPER hot. Be sure to mix hot and cold to avoid getting scalded!...

We stayed at this hotel during our 4 day visit to Iceland. Location is excellent, a 5 minute walk to the main city bus station and around the corner from the walking street. Front desk clerks were helpful in supplying maps of the area and printing our airline boarding passes. Rooms were small and the bathroom minuscule. Walls are thin...
